We moved down to Weston from NY and needed to redo our kitchen 15 years ago. Working with Elliott on the design and layout and then working with Nora on the finishing touches made the end result a beautiful, functional kitchen. The contractors we used from Elliott's recommendation all showed up and worked together and finished every detail. The process was smooth from start to finish. We were so pleased that when we moved to another house in Weston my first call was to Elliott that we NEED another kitchen with the same contractors. Elliott went "outside the box" and designed our kitchen to look more unique and give us tons of storage. The flow of the kitchen makes it so easy to use and again, having Elliott's contractors all working together all at once was amazing. The installer, plumber, and electrician all at the house at the same time was professional and efficient. Elliott and Nora care about each and every job, no matter the size of the job. They treat it like it's for themselves. Thank you both for making the "gathering" spot in our home so beautiful and functional and most importantly STRESS-FREE!

We had a great experience with KDM while remodeling our master bathroom. It was a pleasure dealing with Nora and Elliot as well as the sub-contractors. They were professional, attentive to our needs, communicated well and kept our house as neat as possible during the process. We absolutely love our bathroom and we highly recommend them.

The most humiliating and painful experience of my life was had today while interacting with Nora the lady who coordinates the design process.
From the start her customer service is sorely lacking. She mostly treated me like a mom would treat a truant child. I am new to the remodeling process and at every stage her answers are brittle and belittling.
I only persevered with this because a friend recommended them. I am in the middle of a stressful move to a house and was trying to upgrade 2.5 baths .
For example when I came in to make my material choices and start the process I was told by her to immediately make choices about the cabinet fronts because it takes a long time to receive them. This was not said politely as a matter of fact it is barked at you as if you are a mentally incompetent. I stood my ground and said no unless I see all the materials together in terms of counter, tile, flooring and fixtures I cannot make an outright decision on cabinetry. At this point all that was shared with me was an estimate and a black and white drawing showing where things would be placed , no mock up or anything.
Things broke down when I asked about paint. Apparently painting the walls of a tiny powder room is not included in the estimate!! I was surprised becoz the estimator told me that they would paint. As I came to terms with this she said in the background loudly to the estimator I can t believe she is ( meaning me) making such a fuss over the paint . Further I discovered that material costs and fixtures are not included in the estimate.
I admitted ( to them and apologized) that I had not checked the estimate closely and asked her to estimate the cost of the fixtures I had selected . She responded I don t have all day , I have other appointments and it will take me time to add up the cost of the toilet , fixtures etc.
By this time, I had agreed to pay upwards of $35,000 for 2 full bathrooms ( not master) and a powder room!!
Only mistake I did was to not read all the exclusions fr this estimate the cost of all plumbing and fixtures light and fixtures and paint. I blame
this oversight on my move and already coordinating hamdymen, electricians s, movers, pool repair, roof repair etc etc.
I had paid the $5000 deposit using a credit card for which they said there was no charge. So finally I said I want you guys to hold on to the $ 5,000 and I will think about it because at that stage Nora was not giving me a ball park on the additional cost. If she had politely said I am going to not be able to tell exactly but now your $7000 powder bathroom is going to cost $ 10,000 . I might have considered it. But because she has a major attitude while talking ie she is always doing you a favor , she is total put-off.
Sp as I tried to walk out, she came back and started heckling me again . You need to make a decision right now, you can t keep us hanging , we have many time commitments etc etc. . At this stage I got angry and said I can t work with you as you make the process very difficult . Please credit back to me the money . To which she said there will be a 2% charge for returning the money , which I was mad about but agreed and I stormed out once she gave me back the credit receipt. I was vert angry and humiliated by this lady for over an hour!! Later I looked at the credit and thought she had taken $600 and not $100 for the so called credit charge . so I went back and asked her what that was and why she had taken so much out ( yes I was angry by this point and not thinking clearly) but she said you don t know Math or what? It is the correct amount removed from your deposit . To be honest no one has spoken to me like this in my entire life and my 26 plus years living. In the USA.
So buyer beware and read your estimates and wear a suit of armor if you go work with this person!

I highly recommend Kitchens Design and More ( KDM ). I have done work with many companies in the past, but I have never had as positive of an experience as I did with KDM. Their entire team led by, Elliot, Nora and Juan, are creative, prompt, courteous, friendly, reasonable and extremely knowledgeable. They are trustworthy, always on time, ahead of schedule and do not need to be monitored. They set the bar high and deliver. They truly are experts in their field. I will never use another company again. Thank you KDM for the wonderful experience and for creating our dream home.

Wonderful company! We have used them over and over again. They are dependable and extremely creative. We were referred to them originally just to have a kitchen back splash replaced. They did such a spectacular job! We then hired them to install beautiful new travertine floors, completely remodel bathrooms, build cabinets in our family room, remove popcorn ceilings and etc.. We get compliments all the time about their workmanship and vision.

Elliott did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel! He opened up our kitchen and designed an amazing layout with a marvelous island with built in kitchen table. Elliott's cabinet color and style recommendation was timeless. We recently decided to update our counter tops and I was couldn't believe it was 14 years ago already. We are doing a major home renovation and the kitchen is the only part of the house we don't need to update. Cabinets are in excellent condition and we still love them. KD&M took what can typically be a very overwhelming experience and made it an incredibly easy and rewarding process. We first started with multiple interior designers. Every one of them said the same thing The only type of kitchen you can have is one the resembles a bowling alley. As nice as that kind of kitchen can be, we knew that was not what we wanted. Even when we asked for other ideas, they had none. We invited the KD&M team to come take a look. They knew immediately, without us saying anything, that we wanted our kitchen to be a place for the family to gather. To our surprise, the kitchen idea they proposed was not a bowling alley type kitchen, but full eat-in kitchen with room for everyone and a very large island. At that point we knew that we wanted them to fully design our kitchen. From there, the project grew as did our trust in KD&M. Eventually, they redesigned our entire first floor. While no large project runs without any issues, I can say that the team at KD&M were there to handle whatever issues arose.

The quality of the materials used were of the highest caliber. We are extremely happy with the outcome and experience that Elliot, Nora, Juan, and Brian provided. We believe that one of the most telling signs of the quality of a company is how they handle concerns after the project has been completed and paid for. This is not something to worry about with KD&M. Even now, months later, if something bothers us, they send someone out immediately to make it right.

Great company, I really can't say enough about how good they are. Professional and reliable for starters. I've already used them to redo a kitchen and install an accent wall with rock and shelving in the foyer. Now they are building a custom bar for me. I'm very happy. This is our 3rd home and 3rd kitchen remodel. I had a really bad experience with Kitchen Desing ( Weston) more than a year ago. Terrible customer service. Every time I clean my kitchen counter, I see the poor job and finishings. Terrible work for the price they charge. Not a good at all. Very disappointed!!

KDM did a wonderful job on my kitchen remodel which included new flooring from front door to kitchen/family room, and guest bath remodel too. I was happy enough to use them again to remodel my master bath a couple years later. Elliott and Nora are very professional and easy to work with.

Wonderful Company. They did 3 bathrooms and the kitchen complete.
