We went to small stand, Terra Do Bacalhau in the market for a light bite in the morning. Had the salada de ovas de Bacalhau, torricado de Bacalhau and the ceviche de Bacalhau a Portuguesa. It was very tasty and nice with a coffee to start the day. It would have been better if I got a glass of vinho Verde to compliment the fish.

Epic place to eat. We went there 3 times during our 4 day stay!! We liked it that much. The food was great and the atmosphere couldn't be better. I wish there were more of these places around the world.

Also it was pretty good spot to grab gluten free meal

Worth the trip for the variety in food in the market, but good luck with finding a spot to sit if you have a group of more than 2 or 3... Families were circling lile vultures for more than an hour trying to find room to sit together... Otherwise an order to go, you're all in the clear...

Too crowded to find seating for four, even on a weekday at 3pm. Queued for 10 mins at the only Asian food place only to be told there was a 30 min wait for samosas. Overpriced and limited in the type of food. Almost nothing for vegetarians or picky kids - could not even find plain French fries that didn't look shriveled and burnt.

Its a nondescript exterior that houses two working pieces. One is the remnants of the original market which is now just a few stalls and rather sad to see. The other side is the food hall in a rectangle shape with restaurants on the exterior and a huge open seating area in the middle. The choices are vast and everyone can surely find something of interest. It is very crowded and waits at every stall, so diligence is required. Its in a good location too. Grab lunch here en route to one of the old neighborhoods.

Many varities to choose from, but its very diffcult to find a seat. Food is a little pricy, many innovative dishes although they might not taste as expected, recommend the ham and cheese stand

Lisbon. They have many restaurants some serving only take (you eat in the court) out and others with seating.
They serve, seafood, fish, pizza, meat etc
All gourmet. They are in many cities and are about to open in Miami!! A winner!!

Fabulous and huge food court featuring the most prominent chefs in Lisbon. All kinds of food, wine, beer and other goodies in a converted indoor market and surrounded by the flower market. Walking distance from the Baixa and close to the water.

A great concept and wonderful food. The down side is that the lines are long, getting a table is like fighting for a parking spot in New York City, and the patrons are rude. They will take your seats. After you find a seat which can be 20 -30 minutes in peak times, you get to go back and order your food and wait.

Best to find a seat. Have a glass or 2 of wine find a few spots with lite wait times. Great concept but I would not go back. Too many other adorable resturants at similiar prices.

Amazing quality and choice of food. Much of the food is absolutely delicious and nicely plated. Wish such a food market existed in other places. Food is what you would find in some of the top tier restaurants.

Amazing concept to get the new chefs on the market and what a place to do it. Toronto should do the same thing in the bldg just north of the St Lawrence Market Although I would love it to be at ontario food terminal in the West end
George Brown would certainly benefit with all their new talent.

I was traveling with a group of friends and this was the BEST find in Lisbon. Bunch of little stalls, all with amazing food. Everyone can get exactly what they want! Absolutely no complaint about anything we had here!

Great spot for foodies and for finding small local hand crafted products, some books, postcards and some more beautiful stuff. We had an oyster and loved this crowdy, lovely and stylish market hall full of people from all over the world.

This market is located centrally in Lisbon, near the seafront. It's very large with a huge selection of food and drinks on offer from numerous different vendors, each with their own stall. It's more commercialised than a typical Portuguese marketplace but the quality of the products on offer are truly first class. It's definitely a place you should have on your itinerary if you are visiting Lisbon. If you plan to visit at lunch or dinner time you will have to queue, not only for buying the food, but also finding a space in the central area of tables and chairs. For that reason, I would recommend going when you have a few hours to spare or at a quieter time of the day.

If you want to visit a fast pase market that houses celebrity chef food counters as a cafeteria style. You must visit this place while your visit in Lisbon. Food is good. It is served in porcelain plates. Good wine and beer choices as well.

Some nice restaurants. Prices are ok. The place itself is an historical building in Lisbon, but the interior design has a lot to improve as it has no mood and it just feels like a big shopping center.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan, the food court is unlikely to appeal to you, except for a short visit out of curiosity as there is very little choice of suitable food. On visiting the market, you will be greeted by an unbearble smell of meat and fish as soon as you enter the place which will likely propel you to a very hasty exit! Caveat emptor applies!
