This place feels like it's falling apart. The floors are shot and the shore is all messed up. But the view is great and the food is fantastic. Great service and well priced menu with lots of local stuff. I'll be back again.

Beer! Hush puppies! Fish! Crabs! Repeat. Great service ! Good food and family friendly. Humans seem to enjoy this place. Lots of clean plates, very few leftovers.
Tim's is awesome. When we visited they were training new staff, which was fun to watch. They had to execute the "rain drill" and hustled to put up umbrellas over our table when the skies opened up. The food is fantastic always. Good beer selection. I love taking new people here and making them walk from the parking lot right across the train tracks. It really adds something to the experience.
Worst service ever!!!! After got sited and served the menu, we got basically no choose just to stand up and go. We asked them to prepare food to go and the answered was - please call that number and order. After calling to the Tim s number - sorry you cannot order to go and we will close the kitchen right now!!!! What is going on Tims!???? Last year I was at Tim s every weekend, from today never again!!!!
Over priced. Portions of corn nuggets and pickles was actually nice sized. I got crab balls which were amazing until i got to the middle and it was still a bit cold. Hush puppies were a bit over cooked. Good crunch but dry af. Fish tacos were very tasty and sauce was good. King crab legs were also not bad. Service was meh. I understand a big party came in but you guys should be able to handle that for as unbusy as you were. I would hate to how a busy summer night goes.....
Waited almost two hours for a water side table, just to get seated next to the stairs by the trash. All of our food came out except for one individuals, and we didn t get her food until we were asking for the check. Terrible service and terrible management.
Make sure you call ahead if you want blue claw crabs I can't believe that a Crab House ran out of BlueClaws in the height of the season. Also the way they serve the food that's not very nice. Plastic tables old wood would have been much better no plates no hammers for the claws other than that the view is nice
The first time I went here was when a neighbor took me here for beers. At first, I found it to be a nice watering hole, but nothing else.
When I started living with my now wife, I took her for a meal. She loves the whole Jimmy Buffett-esque feel of the restaurant. I also have grown into it as well.
Like any popular restaurant, the table service can slow down a bit when the joint is full. But this is anywhere. However, the staff makes sure follow up as best as they can.
We have not had a bad meal here. We found the bacon-wrapped scallops to be the best appetizer. It comes out nice and hot. I am a big fan of the potato salad as a side and it does not disappoint.
Word of advice regarding the parking lot. The number of parking spaces in front of the restaurant is rather small. The overflow tends to park either across the train tracks (yes, train horns are a part of the background ambiance) or an overflow lot about 1/4 km away. Make sure you come with some comfy shoes to walk over rocky terrain.
Great ambience and by the water so having a drink at the doc was super awesome. However, we waited 1.5hrds for our food and even when we ordered refills for the drinks the waiter forgot. Service was alright.
You know what you are getting here. Drinks are poorly made, food is decent at best, service can be alright. We all just go for the gimmick of sitting on the water and it is alright for what it is. I had moldy bread once and was told by the waitress to just pick off the moldy parts. Drinks are mostly just unbalanced sugar bombs. The view is nice, so there is that.
The drinks and food are good but the clientele are not gay friendly what so ever...me and my boyfriend kept getting glared at in a very offensive manner.
Love the ambiance of Tim's Rivershore. Love being right on the water, take in the beauty, enjoy the music and great food. The crab cakes are excellent! The fried oysters excellent. Burgers nice size with a good amount of fries. Weekends busy but make it an enjoyable event don't go here if you are in a rush try to enjoy the ambiance and the beauty of the outdoors! For the ones complaining about the cost it's really the same as other restaurants. Who cares if they give you plastic wear, who cares the seats are plastic! I think Tim provides a great waterfront experience. And why the county would want to get rid of Tim's is just plain stupid this is the same county that stupidly would not let Disney or Legoland come to PWC? Talk about wanting revenue.....so let's enjoy and support Tim's because it is a great spot!
Well, since it Tim's was hosting a Fourth of July event, it was crowded. The environment was poor, to me, because it smelled like cigarettes and raw fish. The food was ok, I got BBQ pulled pork and it was ok, but then it was just...well... not so much. Our server was awesome and she tried her best to give us an a amazing dinner. In the end, I really DON'T recommend this restaurant. I also waited at least TWO HOURS FOR A SEAT AND FOOD. It is not worth it.
Our appetizer wasn't ready for over an hour after we finished our meals. Tried to go to the bathroom, and a kid that works there said only one at time. I was fine with that. He told me when it was clear. I go in and another employee said "you can be in here while I'm in here". I told him the other employee told me to come in. He started to tell me again one person at a time, but I just cut him off and told him I'd just go in the parking lot. So great time if you don't want your food and don't need to use the bathroom. You'd think they just have problems from opening after COVID, but their kitchen has always been a disaster about getting food out in any kind of order if at all. 2 stars is only because of being able to hang by the water.
The place ambiance was good. The food was good. However, I gave it a 2 star for the price of the food and the quality of the food. I am from Louisiana and I realize nothing will compare, but 5 shrimp and 6 oysters on a plate dinner was not worth the price. We also had the crab balls, delicious. The shrimp appetizers that we ordered was full of frozen shrimp, not very good. We will probably not go back.
The food is accurately portrayed by most pics. I ordered the pulled pork BBQ as I wasn't feeling seafood or fried food. I was quite pleased with my sandwich.
Fantastic laid back atmosphere on the water. They usually have good live music on Friday and Saturday nights (didn't ask about weekdays). They have an impressive beach on the river. The food was a solid 3-4 stars. The waterfront atmosphere is definitely a top selling point for this place.
I liked the venue. It was really cool. Imagine that but Halloween themed! Service was a bit slow. Waited 20 minutes for a drink. My order was messed up twice I believe. I ordered chicken tenders , they were really good. The virgin daiquiri was delicious. Although my order wait was a good 25-45 minutes, I had a good time.
They didn't notify for the table I requested and just crossed my name off, but anyway it's a fun place and break from the usual restaurant scene. Great live band though!
In am from Maine and Tim's is one of my favorite places to go for Seafood. In part to the great selection they have of non fried items and shellfish. It's decently priced and I've never had anything I didn't like. If you are looking to have a particular item, it is best to call ahead to be sure it's not out. They are very busy and that is a possibility. The parking lot directly by the venue also fills up quickly however there is plenty of parking if you are ok with a walk. Tims is a bit of a hidden gem allowing you to check out of a very developed area and step into an island oasis on the water. Often they have bands too which is nice. You will find the beach area quite a nice surprise, and during the day small children playing in the water. The restaurant is boater accessible too. Servers and bartenders are friendly and typically well tenured. Food can take longer to get out and may come to your table in intervals due to the fry/broil sides of the kitchen operating sorta independently. The thought behind this being to get the food to your table as fresh as possible.
I wish I could just leave the review with no stars. I'm the relaxed, flexible customer and still no good. I get the plastic cups and tables, etc- you're at a crab house on the lake so it makes sense. My problem was the crab dip being served in a paper cup with Ritz crackers, luke warm. It was probably made of cream and minced crab. TERRIBLE! No crabs so I got the crab cake sandwich. TERRIBLE. It was like a fried hush puppy on a bun. I don't believe there was any crab meat in there. Come on guys! Hell of a location but you can't serve garbage like that at a crab house. My other half got the fish tacos (rockfish) and they were smothered with some kind of sauce like buffalo sauce. The potato salad was great and the fries. Crazy! I'd rather pay $3 more and have a legit crab cake. UNACCEPTABLE!
We arrived unknowingly from out of town on Polar Plunge day. Staff insisted we would get a seat shortly but not even close to being true. Looks like a nice place to hang out. Get there early on Polar plunge day.
Service was great, food was great as well as the atmosphere. The only complaint I have is the gravel road getting to the restaurant. I'm sure the restaurant has nothing to do with that. Otherwise, great experience and I would recommend going to this restaurant.
Heard from others how good it was so decided to try with visitors we had from out of town. Wow! What a location and great food. The most pleasant outdoor lunch imaginable!
In an area plagued with chain restaurants. Tims is a refreshingly awesome local spot. Whether you're pulling up by boat or driving over tracks to get there; the beer will be cold, and crabs served on brown paper. Stop by for dinner or check out a live band on the dock. Must check out if you're in the area.
Great food, casual atmosphere. Watch your attire, as you could become food for the sand fleas while devouring the fresh steamed blue crabs, shrimp, and raw oysters. Lol
Seafood was really good. The restaurant gives a real traditional feel. The service was great and offers good rustic views of the water. Definitely will be returning.
This place is truly a hidden gem. The best way to get there may be by boat, as the gravel drive into the entrance is questionable at best. However, once you make it to the gravel parking lot, you'll be glad you did. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. The menu has a number of delicious seafood items. One of the guests suggested if he lived closer, it would be his new favorite place to go. Extensive beer and drink menu is a plus, and the desert selections looked like a great way to end a satisfying meal. A definite "must stop" - and don't let the drive to get there scare you away - it is worth it!
One of the best seafood restaurant that s located off the beaten path. Excellent service and even better food. The atmosphere was thoroughly enjoyable. If I m ever in the area again I will be visiting for top notch food and cold refreshing beer.
Food was okay service however was not so good the waitress my aun and Ihad was not on her A game and it wasn t packed. We asked for a menu upon arriving and she said okay but after waiting 15 minutes we finally went and got our own menus. After that it still took her about I d say anthor 10 minutes to come and take our order. When she finally brought the food out after waiting for an while she brought butter for fries and hush puppies and no napkins when I requested napkins she said okay and never returned after that. We finished out meal withiut napkins and no waitresses in sight! She didn t come check on us or bring the check to us! The bar was nasty tables needed to be cleaned it didn t look like they kept up to codes when it came to keeping the place clean. All in all great place for the family but needs better service and cleane tables.
We waited over an hour to be seated when we were told it was a thirty minute wait and then when we finally did get a seat we were told if we got anything "from the kitchen" that it would take at least an hour to come out. Which meant the only thing we could order was steamed food if we didn't want to wait. We got steamed shrimp which was ok but not worth the wait and the hassle. It was nothing special. On top of that the restaurant was dirty, not only were the restrooms disgusting, but the area where we sat was also unclean. This place is very poorly managed. I would never go back.
The atmosphere was nice there was a live Reggae cover band and families everywhere enjoying themselves. The drinks were good and the food was on the average side. Overall I would frequent the establishment again.
