Its the first ever Tim Hortons. Its not the original building but they have a museum showing off their history. There is an original counter and a history of uniforms and cups etc. In the actual restaurant you can buy cups, t-shirts, and other souvenir stuff. The tims itself is avg.

It seems very odd to me that the flagship store always has stale donoughts. I'm thinking that this crunchy honey cruller came from their museum upstairs. Blah. And I keep wasting my money there for some reason

Normally I wouldn't bother to rate a Tim Hortons, but this one is a little unique. The first timmies ever and has a little museum upstairs with some stuff from the original store. Other than that, regular Tim Hortons, same coffee and same old donuts.

THEY ARE TERRIBLE AT FOLLOWING COVID RULES REGULATIONS

I had one of the worst experiences yesterday (September 19 at 1:50pm-2:05pm). The store had multiple signs stating "only 3 customers allowed in the store". They even have the timbit stickers directing customers on where to stand. It took a little bit when I was next in line to be served. There were at least 4-6 staff working on roughly 5 orders. And none of them said "just give us a minute we'll be right with you". Finally, a woman served me. After that I went to the right, as everyone does at this tim hortons to wait for my order. As I'm waiting about 3-4 people walk in. Not reading signs. Not social distancing. Now, no employee is giving out orders to customers pointing out the sign that clearly states 3 people max. No one seemed to care. When the socal gathering indoors just went back to 10 people inside. Already they had way more then ten people including their staff. I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe. My order took awhile. It wasn't even a complex order. Very simple. I felt as if I couldn't walk out because I've already paid for my items. And just waiting. As I finally received my order. I asked the gentleman if I give him 1.80$ could he give me a muffin and ring it in after. Given that there were about 7 customers is total in the line up. I felt he would have said yes given the wait for my original items. But he said no you have to go wait in line again. So I was taken back. Being refused. I've worked at Tim Hortons myself. I know that you are able to do that to provide GOOD customer service. To get the customer a good experience and want to come back. Others looked taken back when the tims worker said no because everyone seemed to be impatient and uncomfortable as well. I felt as if I wasn't safe given the COVID guidelines weren't being met.

Very disappointed. probably won't be returning. I have been going to this location for awhile. But one bad experience can ruin any future visits.

A fairly new and well maintained Tim's on the site of what used to be the original Tim Horton's. The food selection is much like other Tim Horton's but you can see a little about the history of the franchise and buy some of their merchandise if you're into that sort of thing.

Stopped in your check out the museum, was neat seeing things over the years, but for me the best thing I saw was the wall of pictures, On one the pictures I saw a 1950 STUDEBAKER 4 DOOR SEDAN that quite possibly my grandfather sold and my father possibly did some work on. Thanks for putting the little smile on my face

This location was the first to open, and the upstairs houses a "museum" displaying old uniforms, an original display counter, menu board, and more. At first I thought there was only a small seating area, but there are more tables and washrooms on the second floor. They also have merchandise (mugs, aprons, etc.) available for purchase.

This is the location of the very first Tim Horton's. It has been upgraded since it originally opened of course. The 2nd floor features a small museum and history of Tim Horton's. You can also buy some memorabilia there as well if you wish.

This is the first Tim Hortons location. Upstairs it has a small but interesting Museum of the history of Tim Hortons. It's like a little walk down memory lane. A comfortable place for a cup of coffee and very clean.

It's on the site of the original Tim Hortons and there's a big bronze statue of the man himself there, along with a mini museum upstairs. It's hokey, sure, but you cannot deny that Tim's isn't part of the Canadian psyche, in some indefineable manner. The building itself is new and modern ( though it's abundantly clear the architect hadn't a clue how line ups for coffee work, as the entryway gets backed up out the door with 10 or more people) , the washrooms are clean, and there's comfortable seating upstairs. Might also be only Tims with an elevator too...

If you're passing thru Hamilton and you have been a Tim Hortons fan for years, you probably owe it to yourself to visit. It's at the bottom of Ottawa street too, which is rapidly becoming a hot little street of restaurants, galleries, shops - grab a double double and wander the neighbourhood!

The women on the phone was so professional while I placed my order through skip, she is a hard worker, give her a raise, it's so busy and the other day at a different timhortons a lady said she is on her lunch and hung up on me, these guys are my favorite, she helped me select an item which was not on the skip app, grilled cheese and birthday timbits, also she made it quick so I feel in love with this timhortons, this is where I will order now, thanks Ma'am!
