Please READ my review before you send your beloved...

Please READ my review before you send your beloved phone to Huawei (or maybe any other service centers).

This shop may STEAL your phone without you knowing it and REPLACE with a REFURBISHED (I assume, but not my phone) one.

My Huawei P20 Pro series was deliberately exchanged with the shop refurbished unit (an exact P20 Pro) until I realised the following:

1. The staff formatted the phone without my consent. I have written on a piece of paper that I don't require a formatting, but just a cover replacement.

2. I went through Gmail just to realise another man's account was recently logged in A DAY AGO ( A DAY BEFORE I SENT MY UNIT HERE). Understand what this means here?

I even noticed someone had just logged in to Facebook.

Me: Whose account is this?
The staff: We had to login to check the app whether it works or not.
Me: Why do you have to check apps if my phone issue is the phone cover?
The staff: Procedural. (Basically, he just doesn't know what to tell anymore.)

Well, none of the staff could answer me when I asked about the yesterdays login.

The staff was adamant to prove that the phone belonged to me until I almost believed in it. The manager (Joey Lee from
Total Outsource Management S/B) had to contribute to this game to just persuade me.

At this point, I just couldn't take it and shouted at the staff for its continuous LIE.

The staff showed the serial number of the phone and amazingly, it matched with my real phone serial number!

The truth is, everyone, Huawei may DUPLICATE SERIAL NUMBER JUST SO IT MATCHES YOUR PHONE. If you are ignorant, you will definitely fall into this absurdity.

After a sequence of audacious verbal battle, the staff apologised to me and handed my real P20 Pro, together with a set of a Bluetooth speaker to show how 'sincerely apologetic' the staff felt about this matter.

I have requested for an explanatory email, but this manager could not even admit that the staff tried to steal my phone.

In her email, she only mentioned that the incident happened due to an open day event. (Don't twist. There's no event on that day. You didn't even explain to me why you were so convincing in proving the refurbished phone was mine by your traditional trick of duplicating a phone's serial number.)

This tactic must have been a common practice here as I noticed one of the staff avoided my question and her gesture is aligned with what I believe - she seemed to be aware of this practice but did not dare to chime in.

This tactic will tremendously affect and jeopardise other people's good intent of coming to this place - elders, children and students, ordinary laymen who do not heed.

Please scrutinise my review before you submit your belonging to this center, particularly.

I won't be surprised if you leave Huawei happily, but a few weeks later, your phone seems to act sick, crankier than ever, because ladies and gentlemen, that phone is not yours.

Really frustrating with huawei product.. Don't buy huawei products.. Huawei handphone can last long for 1 year only.. After done warranty they will nt going to responsible even though its manufacturing defect.. Service centre will blame product quality and will suggest u to refer call centre once u refer call centre they will blame service centre..u will nt get solution until the end.. No more huawei after this..

First of all, I wanted to rate zero star to the Huawei Mid Valley. My niece asks me to buy her a new phone which is Y9 Prime which she saw through Lazada. My expectation was the mobile will come with few gifts as stated in Lazada Huawei Official store. I did verify with the staff what comes in the box and if there s free gifts too. The staff said yes and mentioned what comes in the box. It s a very quick transaction as I m pretty sure what I need. After I paid, I asked where the free gifts are and he said there s no free gifts. I was shocked! He should ve explained it properly! I regret buying this! I should have bought it from online store instead! This is a really bad customer experience. I know you need sales and commissions but don t lie to your customer! What comes around goes around mate!

Very toxic work culture & environment.
Environment very hostile for fresh grads. Seniors work like zombies who doesn't help to cultivate future potential employees. Job suitable for robots only, humans no need to apply.
