We had a Thermospa tub not once but twice. Both were nothing but junk, cracking tubs, leaks, computer boards shorting out repeatedly. I would never buy another one. They're outrageous with their charges for repairs, they are not reliable, and they have nothing but issues. They're great with marketing and their products are below industry standards, way below.

Extremely pushy salesman, made appt to get an estimate and some information, about installing a spa, told the representative I only want an estimate, was not looking right away, waiting for my inheratiance money, the Dale's man came and again I stated the same thing, he continued to push me and my husband and close friend in to financing and would not take no for an answer, finally my husband had to get rude to end the discussion, once the inheritance money arrived, I will look for another company.

This is my third attempt to post this review, hope it works Wow what a life saver for my back!!! Hubby wanted a smaller tub, I talked him into the Manhattan model and we don t regret it! plenty of room to stretch out, room for guests when the time comes. Took a little extra time to get to us but considering everything with Corona we really can t complain since other companies couldn t even deliver for this year. We love it!

Had one of their spas for some time. From the beginning had nothing but trouble with getting service. Found someone in the area (not one of their service people) who eventually retired and forced me to contact them for service. Was given two contacts, neither responded to my calls after I had ordered the parts.
Would not recommend their spas due to this issue.

I've decided to leave a review as I sit here on ho...

I've decided to leave a review as I sit here on hold with Thermospas support line (on hold now for over 10 minutes). This is completely consistent with the poor service and mismanagement of my sale from the very beginning. If you want the short version, steer clear of this company. They will lie to you, ignore you, then tell you they "do not take returns."

The longer version is I ordered my Park Avenue Diamond spa ($16K) and was told it would be delivered, installed, setup, and then I would be instructed on how to take care of it. I was told 5 to 6 weeks, which would have had the spa installed somewhere between 3/4/2019 and 3/11/2019. Ha! three weeks later (grossly missing the "anticipated delivery time"), the spa showed up with a third-party install crew. They were super polite and very tired from their drive, and they said they had received no site specifics and wanted to know where it needed to go. Even though I had provided pictures and dimensions, the install crew had been given nothing. Make sure you read what the salesperson writes in the contract. My salesperson conjured dimensions for my gate and I did not catch it in the contract. Considering the spa had to be lifted over a fence, this means they could not install it. So what did they do? They dropped it in the yard and left.

3 weeks later, after flailing about with a disinterest support staff, I called a crane company and installed it myself. Finally, more than double the time I was promised, I finally had a spa. But it had broken side panels. It was missing jets. And of course, nobody had been there to explain how to use it, so I've spent tens of hours trying to learn everything. I called support several weeks ago and explained what was broken and missing, and they said they'd send the replacement parts and send a technician to install them. Plus the technician would install the spa lifter that came with the spa (uninstalled). Finally, they said they would figure out where the steps that I ordered and had yet to be delivered were. That was weeks ago and I've have no heard nor seen anybody from Thermospas.

And that is why I (still) am waiting on hold for service. This entire review was written while waiting on hold. I promise you this, the people at this company do not care about you, and they won't give you your money back and drag away their garbage once they have you! If you are reading this, that means you are a smart enough consumer to check-out reviews before you buy. Go get a Hot Springs Spa. Or Sundance. Or even a Jacuzzi. Better yet, go to Home Depot and get a spa from them, you'll pay 1/3rd the cost of Thermospas and you'll have a company that will at least try to make you happy.

I watched the commercials on TV and was very interested until i read the reviews on line.
For a company charging double the money than any other hot tub company you would think their reviews would be impeccable.

This company is absolutely horrible - horrible service, horrible product, have had nothing but trouble with this hot tub, leaks constantly, pump failed after 3 years. When I called for service, live in SW New Hampshire they told me they have no technicians in this area and referred me to a local hot tub dealer to see if they could send a technician to fix it.

The statement that no permits are required is false. For example, NY definitely requires a Tidal Wetlands permit if located within 300' of saltwater. Guessing there are numerous other examples where permits are required. Take away lesson - Always check with each of your regulatory agencies, from local to federal.

Let me start by saying I purchased two tubs and loved both of them. The company was sold approximately six years ago and the service is absolutely insane. I haven't dealt with them in a few years but I needed some pillows that you can only get from them and nobody even picks up the phone. I left several messages and one person got rude and hung up on me. Nobody will call back even if you say your interested in buying a new tub. Dont waste your time call the other hot tub place in Wallingford their awesome.

Service for wiring harness ZERO, Paid for it. sent wrong part twice. .Customer Care seems to be too much for this company to improve. Hot Tub is great! Too bad their Service Department is more concerned with their ego's.

BUYER BEWARE! Bought Atlantis 400, delivered Feb. 17 on a Sat. Got error code FLO. Called customer support at 3 pm central time. They re closed. Waited until Monday. Got a higher-level rep that said couldn t send repair guy until Thurs. Repair guy came from another state. On Thurs. said it was fixed. The pumps were wired backwards from factory. That night I stepped in and jumped out as the tub was 109 degrees and flashing overheat. Called again and had to schedule same repair guy out. This time he said he didn t understand the new wiring on the newer Thermospas tubs. Thermospas uses hot tub repair centers that work on all hot tub brands. They don t have their own repair guys. They subcontract. Finally fixed, almost two weeks later, I was finally able to use my tub. Thermospas reps continually promised timelines they would contact me that they broke. Worst experience with any brand ever. Would never buy again. May my pain save you possible future pain.

You don t always get what you pay for. That should be their slogan. Don t believe a word about their 10 year warranty. They charged us $500 to repair leaking pipes (defective from the factory). They give you 50% off parts that are 10 times cheaper at the local hardware store and charge $100 an hour for labor plus $150 just to show up. Never again!

We ordered a spa early September 2019 site inspection was the same day the salesman came out, our spa was scheduled to be delivered the week of Sept 23rd but was delivered earlier (the week prior). Setup was done, they took away any trash, the electrician came and hooked it up. The whole experience was pretty stress free and we love the spa, no problems.

As long as you buy you are in good shape it is the after service that's the worst. We have had service men out that have turned the control panel upside down broken things when winterizing and just leave it broken .Worst company ever when it comes to after . They hardly ever answer their phone. They either don't care or are clueless as to what they are supposed to do. You buy their expensive product but you get terrible after service. My recommendation is to buy from someone else. This company is not a follow up servicing after buying kind of company. Just no!!

Salesman sells hot tub at price way higher than cost because the company does not pay him per unit but only a split commission of the inflated price over the base price. Never believe their discounts and do not buy on the first visit to your home!

My experience with the ThermoSpas experience starting with sales meeting with Ben Pinto and through delivery and installation was awesome! I am now enjoying the therapeutic benefits of the spa especially on my recently replaced shoulder! I would also like to give a special shout out to Michelle in tech support and Brianna Gonzales and Carol Civitillo in the back office who helped expedite my tax refund!!

I don't know where or why all these bad reviews came from but ThermoSpas is KILLING IT! Customer service - 10 stars! Salesman - 10 stars! Warehouse guy who stayed an extra 2 hours on a Saturday just so that I could return my uhaul for a larger uhaul and then helped me load it and gave me all sorts of good advice - 11 stars! Every person I have spoke with or met has been stellar. I wish these guys sold used cars, I'd buy two from them. All that stuff aside, it's an American company, buying a spa from them is a no brainer. I love my spa and I wish this company the best of luck. ThermoSpas - 100 Stars!

The person who came out and sold us the spa was very nice. We got the popular selling one and paid over $700 for taxes up front! We picked a delivery date 8 weeks out. We had a few things to do to upgrade and get ready for placement of tub. AND THEN the unthinkable happens your child becomes sick and you are seeing doctor after Doctor and going to different hospitals while now having to pay our high deductible insurance. And so we placed a call to thermo spa and we left a message for the party they directed us to, explaining what was going on. NEVER heard back from them! Tried again no reply. And then someone from delivery calls and we stated we cancelled and all the sudden thermo spa is calling wanting to know what is going on! And we tell them and we ask for some type of refund (to help with the medical bills we have coming in) and he told us I could ask for up to 25% of the cost of the tub! It was a nightmare and to know that we picked the popular color and model I know they sold it! They tried to pressure us into a cheeper model and a SIX year payment plan! It was horrible I will never ever recommend a company that would treat us like this in such a horrible stressing time we were having already! Disgusting!

After being given a Thermaspa hot tub by a friend who no longer wanted it, we had it serviced to usable level directly with thermospa. If you are planning on calling the company carve out at least 30 to 60 minutes to sit on hold. Expect the call to repeatedly be dropped. Expect it hard to get a quick response from anyone that you have a direct number for. The tech was very knowledgeable and competent but did not tell us about several things that still needed to be fixed and some of the pipes that were fixed, were not glued and burst apart once we filled it and turned on the jets.

Zero Stars, Don't know if this is a company or if I have been coned. Rep? Joe Muolo came to my house on 7/7/2017. After looking on line I decided I liked this spa. Ignorance took over I found myself giving a check to a stranger for $2500. He promised me he would be at my disposal anytime and delivery would be in 6 to 8 weeks Max. I come to find that in keeping to a policy of NO Customer Svc. I had to call them at the end of August Since they had not called me for delivery, I couldn't get Joe and we only had a week left on our contract. A little girl answered the phone and immediately started taunting me. She would never address delivery and hung up. At this early date I didn't realize this was part of the con or she was the bosses girlfriend having a good time with me. They scheduled a delivery date, I took the day off and they never showed up. That was days ago. I have not been able to contact Joe Muolo or any else to help me. I am obviously the victim of a crime, I will have to contact the District Attorney in the morning. Do not become a victim of these con men. If there is no showroom there is no product. Lesson Learned.

We purchased a Manhattan spa in 2007 and absolutely love it. We have been diligent in keeping up with the recommended maintenance and only use Thermospas chemicals. We did try other less expensive chemical brands, but found the Thermospas chemicals to be the easiest to maintain. Luckily we live near their warehouse and are able to go to the sales, which saves us a lot of money. This past summer, we had to replace two of the pumps. They were only partly under warranty, but considering how much use we have gotten out of the tub, we are happy with how it has held up. We have also had to replace two of the air lines that somehow got water in them and got moldy. It was a simple fix, my husband was able to do it himself. I would give five stars, but we have had problems with the cover. The first one became water logged and too heavy to lift. It also had a mold smell. They swapped it out per the warranty, but the same thing happened. On the third replacement, we upgraded to the better cover, but also purchased a cover protector from another company. So far, that seems to be working very well. If your tub is outside, I recommend getting a cover - simply conditioning it is not enough to protect it from the elements. Overall, after 8 years. the tub is still in great condition. Since purchasing it, we have had a son who requires some physical therapy. The tub has proved to be invaluable when it comes to that. The salesperson, Kim, was wonderful, and we have had very good experiences with Chris in the service department. He has been very patient in walking me through questions about chemical maintenance and winterizing the tub.

We had our Aquacisor delivered the second week of ...

We had our Aquacisor delivered the second week of August. Within 30 days the blower stopped working properly. I reached out to Thermospas corporate immediately and was told a new blower would be shipped to a technician and they would be sent out to fix it. After 10 days of not hearing from the tech or Thermospas, I reached out to corporate again and was told the blower was out of stock and there was no ETA on when it would be in stock. I asked if the technician could come out in the meantime to see if they might be able to see if I'm missing something simple and get our brand new spa working? The rep told me "the technician will not come more than once. It's hard enough to get them to come out once let alone twice". We were sold on how long Thermospas has been in business, how great their warranty is and how they would stand by their product. All three of these selling points seem like false advertising to me at the moment. What good is having a warranty if the company who sold it to you can't even get the part to fix their product?

My husband and I reached out to Thermospas because we have been longing for a hot tub to go in our back yard. That changed as soon as we met their sales person Taylor S. He came and gave his presentation. He gave us three quotes, We were fine with the price. He kept pressing us about taking at least one of the offers. My husband told him that we needed to talk it over and within a week or two we will call to give our answer. I repeated the same thing ten minutes later. He got very upset packed up his things and just told us to have a good evening. NO hand shake, NO thank you for your time. The appointment was only suppose to take an hour but it took two. We do a lot of business with different companies and this is the first time we were disrespected in this manner. We have friends that purchased one and they loved it. They did not have a salesperson like the one we had. We are just disappointed.
