We purchased a Manhattan spa in 2007 and absolutely love it. We have been diligent in keeping up with the recommended maintenance and only use Thermospas chemicals. We did try other less expensive chemical brands, but found the Thermospas chemicals to be the easiest to maintain. Luckily we live near their warehouse and are able to go to the sales, which saves us a lot of money. This past summer, we had to replace two of the pumps. They were only partly under warranty, but considering how much use we have gotten out of the tub, we are happy with how it has held up. We have also had to replace two of the air lines that somehow got water in them and got moldy. It was a simple fix, my husband was able to do it himself. I would give five stars, but we have had problems with the cover. The first one became water logged and too heavy to lift. It also had a mold smell. They swapped it out per the warranty, but the same thing happened. On the third replacement, we upgraded to the better cover, but also purchased a cover protector from another company. So far, that seems to be working very well. If your tub is outside, I recommend getting a cover - simply conditioning it is not enough to protect it from the elements. Overall, after 8 years. the tub is still in great condition. Since purchasing it, we have had a son who requires some physical therapy. The tub has proved to be invaluable when it comes to that. The salesperson, Kim, was wonderful, and we have had very good experiences with Chris in the service department. He has been very patient in walking me through questions about chemical maintenance and winterizing the tub.
