I cannot express the level of understanding, care and respect this business has towards their tenants. They truly care for their tenants and are constantly accommodating their needs whilst having the upmost respect for the landlord. worst rental experience. Misspelled both of my friends' names on the CONTRACT. My friend pointed the mistakes out, then they emailed back saying it's impossible......after she screenshot the mistake and emailed back, they finally changed them correctly without any apology for the STUPID mistakes they've made. BUT, this is not done yet, with the correct names on the contract this time, the rental period is incorrect.....I'm not sure if anyone wants to deal with an agent that's this stupid and careless, sending out a contract without double check and this happened not just once, but a few times! and with no apology but a simple excuse as 'HUMEN MISTAKE'....

Always punctual, very approachable and always stood by her word and never let us down once. Would go out of my way to lease/buy my next property thru Hopkins and especially Lauren Wilden-Ross.

I am writing this e-mail in relation to Lorena D'Amico:
I first came across Lorena due to a problem that had not been dealt with at 46 Robin Ave Norlane for over ten weeks in which the person who should have been looking after me in Joanne even responded with the comment I don t read my e-mails . Lorena contacted me and said she would deal with this and the problem was dealt within a week.

Firstly unlike others I had previously dealt with Lorena was prompt in all her dealings with me and in fact I felt at ease and chose to deal with her from then on. Lorena is able to create a great rapport with people and is only interested in solutions and not just the problem, she has shown me incredible compassion and empathy and is an incredible people person. This has been particularly evident in the last three months when three gentleman took up residents in the house Rob, Jack & Bryce who are drug users and dealers. Two of which have serious assault charges against them one being with a weapon. In this period I had been exposed to drug use in the house, having my belongings and food stolen, being threatened with a knife among many other things. Throughout this time Lorena was nothing but responsible, professional and deliberate in her dealings with me and I appreciated this as in this time I did not feel safe. Lorena displays great Leadership in her active listening, providing empathy and the ability to try to find a solution, she looks at things individually on a case by case basis and is not a robot quoting policy and procedures and has somewhat restored my faith in people.

Based on her last visit to the property it would be my recommendation that nobody go there alone as she was subjected to verbal abuse from Rob that was highly volatile and aggressive in which she was nothing but professional. She knocked on Jack and Bryce s door and they just refused to answer coming out after she had left. I suggest you be mindful of your duty of care towards your staff and know that the previous agent stepped away because of moral issues with the owner. Working in people & culture I train staff in conflict resolution among other things and risk assessment is a big part of this. Random drug tests and police checks mean you know what you are sending your staff into. I am happy to discuss this further and would happily support Lorena and any future endeavours and can be contacted on the details below.

Great Sales experience from Stephen but property management has been below expectations. No consulatation on condition property before tenant exiting property. Very slow to respond to escalations

I attended an inspection on a Saturday afternoon, for an apartment for lease in Armadale. The lady (her name might be Gabrielle, I might be wrong though) was very unprofessional. She doesn t even bring a set of spare keys for the inspection. I can t believe the inspection has just been canceled like that just because she doesn t have spare keys. She even walked away when she figured the the tenant wasn t home. I don t understand how come she s so unorganised like this. I bet she didn t even tell the tenant about the inspection! It s either the tenants are home to let people in OR they won t be home but it should be her responsibility to at least bring a set of spare keys! It s just that simple. There were at least 8tp 10 people waiting for the inspection but she just walked away saying: Sorry, I ve no keys! Didn t even explain anything until people chased her and stopped her to ask questions. Very rude and unprofessional! A total wasting time! Don t use this agency for real! They don t take the renting market seriously!

We have recently left a rental property where we had The Hopkins Group as property managers. I have nothing but great things to say about the team there. We lived at the property for over four years and always had smooth and seamless interactions with them regarding inspections, repairs, or the eventual sale of the property. Very professional outfit. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after during the vacating process. Would look forward to dealing with them again.

We leased a property through The Hopkins Group last year and our experience was absolutely terrible. During our lease we got a new agent Celeste and she was absolutely appalling. Completely unprofessional to say the least! Prior to leaving the property we had to ask Celeste for an inspection in which she clearly said there was no issues with the property. Following us vacating the property, Celeste then decided to tell us about the problems she had. We had no issues fixing these yet we still had further complications, we even offered to surrender the bond and she declined the offer, however unfortunately for her and her clients this was a mistake as it went to VCAT where she could only take part of the bond and not the full amount. She was very unprofessional and her conduct was disgusting in our opinion. Hopefully for the future she can get the extra confidence she needs to talk up to clients when there is an issue and the extra professional training to be a successful agent.

Lauren Wilden-Ross was my property manager and she is one of the most responsible and responsive realty agents I have ever met. I still remember that she helped with an urgent repair in a late night and I got the hot water back just in 1-2 hours. She responses to emails or phone calls very quickly, and she also recommends great workers for repairs and cleaning services. In general, I found Lauren is a very reliable and professional property manager. Thank you Lauren!

Absolutely hopeless... Vicky Morrison would have to be the most unprofessional incompetent property manager in Victoria. Emails go unanswered no return phone calls. Everything gets put into the too hard basket. We had a leak in the apartment which was causing mould and a strong stench throughout the entire apartment. It took 6 months to organise the replacement carpet (This didn t fix the issue). Now that our tenancy is coming to an end no one at Hopkins group really cares about fixing any issues, I wouldn t recommend these guys.

Excellent 2 years leasing with The Hopkins Group, I had no issues when anything needed to be taken care of within the property & the Hopkins Group was always prompt & professional, I will definitely lease with The Hopkins Group again.

I have been a tenant with the Hopkins Group for almost five years and they have been amazing the whole time. Lorena has been an absolute star, helping us out with anything we needed, and would do so with no hesitation.

Looking down at these reviews, I have exactly the same issues. I have rarely received any response to my emails, I have left messages on the phone and nothing. It's only been three weeks that I've had this problem but it's frustrating. If nothing has changed in the coming weeks, I'm going to have to change my attitude and stop playing mister nice guy.

We had a very bad experience with Celeste as our property manager she was rude and unprofessional , all other members at Hopkins Group were friendly and nice.

I am a rather cautious investor and so I am very grateful to Stephen Phillips who allowed me to take things slowly as we did our due diligence on an investment property. Stephen was very proactive to ask questions of the builder and selling agent on my behalf as well as negotiate contract amendments that I sought. He coached me along the way and I enjoyed working with him to secure a great property!

I required a personal loan and contacted Brian Godfrey from The John Hopkins Group. Brian was extremely helpful and walked me through the application process and had the loan approved very quickly. I was very impressed with the service provided and would have no hesitation in recommending Brian.

The property manager we had at the start was great, Vicky you were responsive and always answered our calls and emails right away. She is the only reason why I am reviewing 2 stars otherwise it would be 1 star.
The new property manager looking after her properties, I hope the other tenants are having better luck with her than we did.
Impossible to get in contact with, had to chase her up numerous times about maintenance issues (which resulted into me getting the maintenance mans number myself), taking almost a month now to get our bond money back - which we are still chasing by the way.
I would like to think we were great tenants, paid 2 weeks early, left the property in mint condition and looked after it as though it was our own home. Understandable whilst doing departure clean we missed the marks on one bedroom wall - which we came back to the property to clean!! But still? Come on guys, it's almost a month for our bond and I am being more than patient.

Good luck to any future tenants staying at one of these properties!

I had recently had another experience with Hopkins group, this time with Tannaya Jessop. The initial property manager who was assigned was not always responsive and not reachable.
Tannaya has been great, always very helpful and great with communications. She was always trying to help out but maybe the land lord was not very responsive hence a lot of problems in house were never fixed.
Highly recommend Tannaya though.

Kristy Hopkins is really good with her job, very organised, very friendly and very human. She tries to understand your problem and really tries to help you out. She has been great.
The other property managers from the hopkins group that I had before her were not that great and at times not reachable.

Previous tenant not upfront about several maintenance issues. In my understanding this could likely mean poor co-operation from the agents. Not in this case. Hopkins Group have been fantastic. James is right onto it. I often see him in the building actually. Sarah was great to me too in finding this place. This is a very professional and accommodating agency. Going into our first rental, we couldn't have asked for a better Property Manager in Tannaya. She is kind, friendly and very responsive.
