Nice classic building next to the park. Love the old but the beds are old too i am afraid. Can open windows no coffee or tea in room? Breakfast simple but worth it. Id come back. No upgrade as Titanium Bonvoy.

I was torn between giving the Westin 4 or 5 stars, but there wasn't much I didn't like so I'm giving it the full 5 stars.

I'll start with the cons: our room wasn't ready because a platinum member didn't check out when he was supposed to (checked out at 5:30pm) and they were fully booked. When we came back after dinner, 7:30pm, it was finally ready. Well, sort of - they hadn't prepared the pull out couch for my son, so we called the front desk and told them we needed it done immediately as he needed to get to sleep.

The second con was that on a couple of the days housekeeping didn't come until 2pm or later. This was an issue because our son naps in the middle of the day. One of the days they were in the middle of cleaning when we came back so we had to wait 30 mins to come back to our room. After this happened the second time we made sure to ask the front desk to have housekeeping come earlier.

The last con is a smaller one, but they ran out of water so we would need to go to the front desk to ask for some.

Now onto the pros.

Location was great. Pretty easy to walk to most sites, within 10-20 mins walk for most things, and others that needed a drive, it was easy to get an Uber or taxi.

Service was great. Given the room issue we had, they provided us breakfast during our stay. Also, when we checked in, it was my son's nap time, so they gave us a waiting room - basically a room we could unwind/nap/refresh in until our room was ready. Front desk and concierge was always helpful, and turn down service was nice.

Room was great. We got a junior suite so my son had a place to sleep. Enough room for the three of us. Although I'd say the bed wasn't as comfy as a typical Westin bed, but was still good. Also, there weren't outlets or usb plugs right next to the bed which would have been nice.

Restaurant for breakfast was good. Would definitely get crowded by 9:30am, but the staff was good about trying to accommodate everyone. Buffet was good including omelet station, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, yogurt, breads, cheese, oatmeal, fruit.

I am a Starwood member, so that does sway my decision often, but I would have no problem staying here again.

A luxury hotel facing Tuileries Park. The decoration of the hallway facing the courtyard was beautiful. Although it is a prestigious building, the guest rooms are business style and do not feel heavy and not tired. Breakfast was luxurious and lively for a long time.

My door card didn t work and I replaced it twice a day i stayed here. I asked them to replace it and had to go downstairs every day I stayed at this hotel. The last two days of my trip I received a new card for my room twice. One in the morning, one at night. The staff would apologize and wouldn t do anything to solve the main problem.

It s frustrating to go up and down to find out that I can t get into the room.

The room service left my room door open after cleaning it our second day. The heat would barely work and I would come back to my room finding the window wide open.

It s 40 degrees out. I stayed here 6 days and I checked out leaving sick.

Good location for sure, walking distance from main attractions in Paris and the fashion district.
Check in process was smooth, front office are helpful and polite, rooms are decent size but not lavish.
But imagine for the first time in very long period I walk in to a 4 star or five star and you don't find coffee machine and I have to say I stayed for 5 days and every time I am in the room I suffer from the fact that I am.unable to drink something hot.
Food at breakfast is acceptable and not actually more than this; the people working in the restaurant need to.recognoze they work in a big chain and need to be smiling and more welcoming to customers which was really astonishing to see one time a rude approach to my wife telling her you don't walk in until I tell you!!!
Facilities are old but ok, the worst old door access card system you will.face, I was obliged to reactivate my access card two to three times every day... imagine you go to your room at fourth floor and then go down again since the access card is not working.. Now imagine you were tired and has to do this twice or thrice per day!!
Please upgrade and don't be cheap ... you charge a lot.

The Westin Paris Vendome, not to be mistaken for other Paris Vendomes.

This magnificent building has been exquisitely restored, inside and out.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, and the staff are exceptional. Warm and friendly, they go out of their way to help.

The location is perfect, beautiful walks around there.

Once it reopens post Covid, do go visit, you shan t be disappointed.

Enjoy!

I love the smell when you walk into a Westin! They have a gorgeous terrace patio in the center of the hotel that gives the whole ground floor beautiful lighting. Some of the tables have swings as seats. The rooms are what you would expect. Not a ton of amenities though. Central to a lot of attractions and right beside the "Jardin de tuillerie".

Meal taken at a wedding

Meal taken at a wedding
Impeccable service, sumptuous and easily found place
A little disappointed with the foie gras and the fish where there was a little shell and bone left

Great location, across the Christmas market and near shops. Love the view from our room. Kind staff. We noticed the cleaning service was not consistent. Breakfast buffet is not worth the price.

The hotel is clean, & in good condition, front desk people behaved badly with us, since our vacations were in low season (it was what front desk said) & without having people in the hotel they did not want to give us a good room , so they did not give us any view! It has a very good location, has easy access to everything you can visit in Paris!

All flights cancelled for our trip to Paris and the Westin Vendome is refusing to issue a refund. Said we can request our funds returned after December 30th 2021 if we don't want to use their voucher. I tried to explain that we were only going in order to attend a wedding and their sales teams response was "that unfortunate."

Two days of conferences in this luxury hotel. I can only put 5 stars, having no criteria for comparison with other places. This is the second time I have been there and it was a pleasure to attend conferences at this hotel.

It is nice to have a courtyard. It has been renewed. I used to have a taste and taste before ... Tuileries Park is in front of you, you can go to both Orangerie and Orsay on foot, and it is a great location.

Awful noise isolation - one can hear *every* sneeze and cough (and worse) in adjacent rooms, and thus one has no peace and no privacy.

Snooty, unwelcoming staff. Labyrinthine corridors which are a major challenge to navigate, and a long hike of 60-90 seconds to get from an elevator to ones room. Scandalously high prices - 25 for a bowl of simple pasta. Cheap and nasty tacky shampoo that damaged my hair.

Nice chandeliers and such, but they can t get the basics right, so it s not fit for purpose. Avoid.

Let me first say that the location offered by this...

Let me first say that the location offered by this hotel, right across from the Tuileries Garden and the heart of paris (footsteps from the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Champs Elysees) is unbeatable and the Eiffel Tower Rooms sport SPECTACULAR and surreal views of the Paris cityscape. These features in itself make the hotel worthwhile to stay in. The service, the breakfast, and the staff are all of the highest quality one would find anywhere. I found the concierge to be extremely helpful in directions, restaurant recommendations and more.

With that being said there are some niggling issues:

1.) Beware that the walls between hotel rooms are made out of paper. People next door can hear EVERYTHING that is going on next door. I had a tremendous amount of trouble sleeping the first night due to some inappropriate noises next door (I won't elaborate)

2.) The rooms facing the Eiffel Tower and Tuileries are TINY and one can easily injure oneself getting up in the dark due to the small space (OK considering it is Paris, but surprising when a superior room is seen).

3.) The internet is free but only valid for every hour or so causing there to be connection disruptions every hour so that you have to renew your internet connection. (All taken care of later by the front desk for platinum desk)

4.) AC in some of the Eiffel Tower View Rooms are not working properly or maintenance is being neglected. It took almost 4 visits by the maintenance crews to finally fix the problem in one of our rooms. In the other it was really an on and off issue.

The hotel really went above and beyond to address my initial complaints about the property and they really made sure that I was satisfied with my visit. The breakfast offering was superb and well worth it even if it were not included. All said and done I would not take anything away from the staff at this hotel because they are simply terrific people. The infrastructure problems of the hotel which is a good 100 years old are not something they are responsible for in any way.

Bottom Line: I would not hesitate to return to this hotel at any time after my recent stay. The staff were outsanding, and the rooms had some of the most magnificent views of Paris (as one would expect from the movies). I am absolutely ok with the size of the rooms considering Europe has offered worse especially in the middle of town. Awesome suite upgrade on the last night of our stay, was simply awe inspiring.

Although the hotel room is not large, the staff service is first class. The hotel is ideally located close to the Louvre Museum and the Orsay Museum. In addition, it is very convenient to take a walk to the Champs Elysees.
