Great location but old facilities., definitly needs an urgent up grade.
This building has a lot of history, is worthy to make some remodelation to create more bussines.
The restaurant at the lobby is nice
The Staff in kind and helpull.
So close to a 4 stars. The good: location, Concierge, SPG. The bad: housekeeping, room conditions.
A place whose imagination is on the verge of true ...
A team, led by a virtuoso chef, sublimates the place ...
5 days stay. Location is great, nothing else. Very old, small and bad service.
Under no circumstances should you book breakfast. It's just a waste of money. Just go to Angelina across the street. Not even a minute's walk. That the hotel in Paris can even allow itself is a mystery to me.
As I said the location is great! Unfortunately not the rest. Can't understand that 4 Bell Boys are standing at the door and nobody will open their mouths in 5 days and just say hello.
Great location. Checkin takes fore6for no apparent reason. Room was a hike from the elevator. Room was tiny. Dinner in the restaurant in the "greenhouse" in the center was terrible. Breakfast is way way way over priced.
The location, staff, and amenities are fantastic. The price was reasonable too. I can't wait to stay here again during my next trip to Paris!
This hotel was very rude and unaccommodating. My flight was cancelled due to protests in paris. The unrest and flight cancellation caused safety concerns. I am a single female traveling alone. I tried to cancel my reservation and this hotel did not refund my stay or even give me a credit to rebook when safety was not a concern.
Beautiful room sumptuous decor. Just to park !!! But valet
Beautiful rooms, fantastic and pleasant room service, perfect location! Check in was frustrating and an hour past our check-in time which was brutal with the jet lag. We were not notified when it room finally became available either. That was awful. The rooms are too warm as well. But it's a beautiful hotel, she really great views, and you can walk to a lot of sites such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre.
The ice cubes were not cold enough
the rooms are not expensive enough
Facing the Tuileries Garden, an exceptional view of the Eiffel Tower
Excellent location. Rooms are comfortable and clean, however walls are thin (hear everything in the next room) and if you are in a room facing a street, it's extremely loud. Basically nothing is soundproof here. Staff is pleasant, but in my case, they failed for a hotel in its category. Highly disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone who asks. I've had much better experiences at other hotels in lower categories.
Wi-Fi can only connect to three devices, which is odd considering most places offer free Wi-Fi for all devices. Not worth the high price
There were 6 of us with 3 rooms travelling through Europe. The staff seemed rather snooty. We tried to get an extra night but they wouldn't accommodate us at the desk but when we called from another phone they apparently have rooms available. Wth!
Very nice place, service at the top, cuisine at the top!
Room is small with too much furniture. Keys hardly ever worked, housekeeping wouldn t leave towels, lamp didn t work.
Former Intercontinental which was bought by a chain. The charm and luxury are always there.
The most attractive view of the Eiffel Tower from a local hotel I think. Unfortunately I my camera got broken and I couldn t take pictures of the fascinating view but I am sure I ll be back soon and that view from The Westin Paris will be shot for sure.
Beautiful hotel. Convenient location. Great service.
Really beautiful place (I had the opportunity to go there several times for weddings).
Center of the city. Easy access to the louver and eiffel tower.
Classic style hotel. Beautiful winter garden where the bar is. Very good service
Perfect little hotel with great customer service. Bed was comfortable and location was great for walking around the city. Internet was fast and the room was quiet and clean too.
Upscale hotel downtown Paris. Centrally located, great service
Lovely, grand hotel. We stayed in two different rooms - one junior suite and another corner room and both were divine.
The valet manager is a shame, in a haughty and contemptuous tone he refused to take my car without explanation.
Great place to stay. The only thing you should know if you want it quiet at night. Don t take the Eiffel Tower View room, because in summer month there is somehing like a funfair happening right outside your window. I m not happy about that I was not informed about this when booking this not at all cheap room.
And one small thing: sometimes it seems the service staff in the restaurant isn t realizing you re still here.
Great hotel with very cool design, great restaurants and location is great too.
Exactly as one would expect from a luxury hotel in an exclusive part of town such as the Vendome.
Very nice hotel still danq its juice without being old or obsolete
Staff was excellent and helpful. Location was fabulous. Rooms were delightful.
Hotel needs a renovation. Rooms are small and the AC does not work well. Would not recommend in summer (or anytime actually). Restaurant is ok but very limited menu choice. Check in desk always busy with a long queue. Only good point is the location and the concierge.
One of the best outdoor inside a hotel bars ever! Huge thunderstorm and lightning show ingr the comfort of great food and drinks. Service was fantastic too.
Beautiful setting in the reception rooms. Beautiful patio.
large room, friendly staff and must have breakfast buffet. Overall amazing and beautiful place. I was pleased by gorgeous models walked around lobby as there was fashion show helding during my staying, what a lucky lamo .
Loved our stay here. We arrived early and we were able to get a room straight away. The staff are accommodating and friendly. Rooms are spacious and you cannot ask for a better location.
Luxurious. I was there going to a wedding. Everything was perfect. The food was exquisite, the room amazing. No complaints.
Memorable performance in a dream setting! The Westin lounges are magnificent and the staff impeccable. A wonderful professional memory.
Got the Royal Suite. The views are awesome of the Tuilleries, Eiffel Tower and more. The room was decadent. The breakfast is pretty good too.
The class
Nickel service
More than adequate meal for an event that gathered 250 guests
Nice place. Nice bar for a little break. Room well, average bathroom is a shame
Amazing location central to many of Paris landmarks, but dated rooms / facilities don't justify the price.
I had to change rooms 4 times - something I never normally do. This is a very outdated and very poorly maintained hotel. Old stained carpet - TINY bath that you could only stand in. Low pressure shower. Electricity went off. Slow internet. Expensive for what it really is. Breakfast was very poor indeed. The room is dark - the lifts are dark. I can't wait to get out of here.
Nice place but the service in the bar was just awful.
A place of exception very classy, with a remarkable architecture and a concern of the detail very appreciable.
Very nice establishment
Friendly staff
Perfect location
Right in the heart of Paris! Beautiful hotel and GREAT customer service!
Location is unenviable. However, the restaurant is very expensive for no good reason. The hotel gives an impression that they want you to spend more money for them to care. Nevertheless, they have really good staff.
After a booking snafu at another hotel, I ended up booking the Westin Paris last minute by using Priceline's name-your-price feature.
They were able to accommodate us in a king bedded room with a balcony facing the Rue De La Castiglione and were able to see the Tuileries gardens.
Though the room was very small and the floor was terribly uneven, I would say this is typical of any room in Paris especially in such an old building. The furnishings were lovely and modern and the room had very high ceilings and terrific chandelier.
The bathroom was the cleanest I've ever seen in a hotel and the water pressure and temperature was good.
We couldn't get the central air unit to work in our room and it got a little chilly at night, but we were there at the season that it wasn't too cold.
The last night that we were there our TV went out and they couldn't figure out why. We were all packed up and ready to leave and just looking forward to relaxing in front of the television. They offered to move us to a different room but again it wasn't worth the hassle. We suspect it wasn't just us because the next morning there were men removing sections of the ceiling and messing around with some wiring.
Internet was at a premium. 19 per day or 8 per hour. We opted just to use free wi-fi while out and about when we could and an hour at a time when absolutely necessary.
Excellent hotel its rooms, cleanliness, service of its staff
Dirty, dated and expensive. I've stayed at many hotels near the Vendome, this is among the most expensive and easily the worst.
Cons:
-- Many rooms (and some floors) smell of mold and mildew. Even with a window open all night the smell is unavoidable.
-- The room was filthy for a $350 a night hotel. See the photo of a dust-encrusted smoke detector that you have to stare directly at from your bed. Every marble surface has rings from the drinks of previous guests that could easily be wiped away. There was a large blood (?) stain at eye level on the wall behind the bed.
-- The room was in poor repair. The TV did not work on arrival, requiring a trip from the service technician. There is peeling paint along the light fixtures and in the bathroom.
Pros:
-- The location is nice, just like dozens of other hotels in the neighborhood.
-- After notifying the front desk, the hotel quickly moved me to a nearby room that was undoubtedly cleaner, but still not to the standards of other similar hotels. The TV still was below average and prone to losing signals.
I do not recommend this hotel.
Very nice hotel with a beautiful winter garden and a view of the Tuileries garden and magic Paris
Great location. But not the service one expects in a Westin. Porters are unfriendly and unhelpful. Front Desk seems overwhelmed.
The hotel is really nice, well located and their brunch at the first lounge is excellent.
The only downside is their jewellery shop where the service is absolutely terrible. This gives a negative image of the hotel.
High-end hotel, great location. Interesting layout, around a courtyard. Expensive.
