Stayed here for 4 days. Very impressed with overall accommodation. Staff were extremely nice and very accommodating. Rooms very spacious and with beautiful view of the ocean. My entire family had a wonderful time ! We'll definitely stay here again

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME! It was beautiful, clean, and the customer service was amazing! The views were extraordinary and the pool was beyond perfect for the kids; not to mention the hotel supplies beach stuff (chairs, toys, paddle boards, etc). The ONLY reason I'm giving this hotel 4 stars versus 5, is their parking situation and charges. You have to pay a $30/day resort fee (understandable), but then to simply park your car you have to pay $38/day????? That's RIDICULOUS for hotel guests--$68/day is basically getting bent over. Talk about screwing over guests-- it's "nickel and diming" to say the least. It's too bad really they feel they have to do that at such a great establishment. Oh well, I'd still recommend this place with two thumbs up!
The room was very nice other than the construction right outside our balcony.
The service was very good, however, the pool was closed for a wedding on Saturday from 4:30 to 6pm. The hotel did provide complimentary drinks and snacks during that time.
We stayed there for 3 nights and had a nice room with a great view to the beach. The service was very friendly and helpful. The pool is perfect for children. We enjoyed our stay as family. I really recommend this place.
What a wonderful resort. We went for spring break and stayed in a beautiful first floor suite with a large terrace leading to the pool. Very comfortable, beachy, really fun decor throughout the entire hotel, with lots of great lighting fixtures and artwork. The servers at the bar, poolside bar and restaurant were all topnotch and friendly. A short walk across the PCH and you're at the beach and pier. A fabulous hotel and we can't wait to go back
This is a review for the lounge on the 9th floor of the hotel. The view was great, and the wines they have are good. The cheese and meat boards were just okay given the price of each. I would go again for drinks but not food. There is only valet parking at the hotel, but with validation at the lounge it is only $3 for 3 hours so that isn't bad.
Was there 3 days in the junior suite at $375 a night. Let me tell you not a great experience even as a Hilton honors member. The place is being renovated which is fine. 1. Our A.C. had issues and they came and checked it and confirmed it and the guy never came back. 2. The couch was so worn that it felt like you were sitting on metal poles when you sat on it. 3. We preordered water in a bottle which froze and busted in fridge and we had to call multiple times to get cleaned up. 4. We decided to have brunch at the new Shades location and booked it on open table app for 1030 am and arrived 5 mins before and was told our table wasn't ready though they had 8-10 people in whole restaurant. At the 10 min waiting on table mark I checked again and they immediately sat us in a vacant table that was avail 10 mins prior. It was crazy! 5. We had issues ordering the pay per view movies through the TV in room app and was advised a representative was on the way up to room. At the 2 hour mark we never heard from anyone and just went to bed instead of watching a movie. Anyways our overall experience was definitely a 2 out of 5 but location was good and the view was good.
Really nice Beach front hotel, has a bit of a resort feel. They have a large 3ft pool for the kids. They have private bon fires too not you have to reserve them and they get booked fast.
Chose the waterfront as my wedding ceremony venue. Everything has gone smoothly and they have included so many essentials in their package. They remodeled their ceremony lawb and it is absoluteley beautiful. The food is amazing abd they are playing nice with my outside vendors. Definitely talk to them if youre getting married.
The hotel was great. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The meeting rooms very nice. The location is perfect to beach access. This is a great place.
NO COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE. Beautiful hotel with beach views. However for price of stay plus $32/night for parking complimentary coffee should be available. Beach access. Event space can be noisy with DJ playing right outside your window
I got to stay here for work because my company was hosting an event. It's a cosy place and it was well kept. The only thing I was unhappy about was that it's valet parking only... and they charged an extra day on my card, which they fixed.
What I loved: - it's across from the beach, perfect for a morning run - Service, if you're waiting in line they'll offer you a bottle of water to stay hydrated. I also did something really clumsy and lost my room key (and I gave them the wrong room number). They were patient and kind enough to replace it with a new one for free. - great view of the ocean - the restaurant inside looked delicious and fatty, too bad I was watching my weight... please check out their menu when you're near there. Venue: Very spacious and the food tasted better than expected.
We had dinner at the rooftop bar. The view is spectacular, the food was great and the staff was so attentive and friendly.
We ordered the roasted almonds and charcuterie board (meats only) cheese is separate. It was really good. We also had the roasted cauliflower and sous vide steak. The steak was very tender and moist and the cauliflower had golden raisins and great blend of flavors. They only serve tapas type small plates, which I like because you can try a variety of things.
Unfortunately I can't review the hotel as great because I feel they are lacking when it comes to food options. We were looking for just a small plate and quiet cocktail but the restaurants were full due to minimal seating and the Dock bar had no seating and a limited menu. The outside spaces had no area where children were discouraged, even in the hot tub. Plus, too many people not wearing face masks and crowding elevators. Maybe after Covid we'd try again, but as Hilton Honors members we were disappointed and will probably go elsewhere.
This hotel is beautiful and the rooms are great. Its also right across the street from the beach. Also it being walking distance to main street makes it a perfect location for Huntington beach.
I wasn't a guest, simply DJ'd a party here, however this place rates high on my Swank list. If you can swing the nightly rate, I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute and everything this hotel has to offer. They're still undergoing renovations however that's a very minor issue aesthetically. There's so much to that this hotel has to offer and areas to explore its worth visiting right now and then when they're done.
Gorgeous views. Nice pool, which had a view of the beach. I attended a wedding that was just beautiful; hotel staff was really accommodating from the time we pulled up to the hotel until we left.
Several issues with this hotel and I ll NEVER stay at another Hilton again. 1. This hotel is expensive and charges $40+ a day for fees PLUS $40+ a day for the use of the valet. It is mandatory to use the valet yet you wait 30-45 min for your car everytime you want to go somewhere. Even if you call downstairs ahead of time and ask for your car to be brought up then head down in 20 min your car is NEVER there. They look around for your keys and seem to always have them misplaced and then go get your car after waiting another 10 min for them to figure it all out. 2. We stayed here for a total of 8 days, on the first day of check in I mentioned to the front desk that there was hair, of all shades, lengths and styles spread around the ceiling and walls and bathtub in our bathroom. I again complained 3 more times over the 8 days and not one cleaning person, manager or anyone came to clean this up. There was also a brown goo, so disgusting, around the sink. I ended up cleaning it up myself. I can not understand how a hotel like the Hilton would even allow a room to be rented out in that condition especially for what they charge for them. 3. My coffee maker leaked coffee and did not work my entire stay. I tried every single day to make coffee and not once did the coffee maker make the coffee with out drawing it out the back of the machine. They also never refilled the condiments to the coffee in a way that you could actually make coffee. One day they d give you one coffee packet with two cups, one cream and one of each h sugars, the next day two coffee refills with no sugar. Seriously!?! So then I attempted to call down and ask for coffee to be brought up and charged To my room and they said we don t do that but if I found someone who was available it would be at least an hour! Worst customer service ever! 4.everytime I did call down for something we needed, like towels, a microwave that wasn t in our room, silverware, the response was always it will take an hour for that ! They never acted happy to do something for you and always seemed annoyed and put out as well as just too busy! 5. The hotel is under construction. And I mean serious construction. The first noise you hear in the morning is the loud machines at work, not the beach or friendly noises of California sea side. The offer ZERO activities for kids and have ZERO spaces for them like other hotels, for example, agame room, lounge area, separate pool with slides. That pool was closed for construction and nothing else was offered. Everytime you tried to go to the hot tub there would be 15+ teenagers and kids in it that you couldn t get in. The pool was too cold to get in. About 60*. 6. The best service I got on my 8 day stay was from the rental store across from the hotel where we rented some wetsuits from an older gentleman who owned the shop. He was so friendly, helpful and kind to us. 7. I have stayed exclusively at only Marriott hotels for a few years now and thought my vacation at a Hilton would be a wonderful experience for me and my three boys. Being a single mother it is hard to take off of work and plan a vacation for three children. To say I was disappointed with my stay and above that, my service we received here is an understatement. This is NOT a friendly hotel and they do not cater anything for children. They did offer a pool game once a day where the lifeguards threw some toys in the water for 5 min and the kids raised to get them and return them to the life guards. All of those kids who participated received a small treat. In 5 min that was done. 8. Next time I stay in Huntington Beach, we LOVED the area, I will be staying at a hotel who caters more to kids and actually has customer service and clean rooms.
We stayed here for 5 nights in September 2019. Overall it's an alright hotel. We had a ocean view room, which was spacious and had a great view. The highway between the hotel and the beach however could heard all day and all night long.
What also annoyed us was the fact that only valet parking was offered from a 3rd party company for juicy 38 bucks per night. Furthermore we were charged 30 bucks per night for the ressort fees. As I questioned these costs I was initially treated professional, but after a while the staff seemed to get annoyed. Instead of explaining the answers became just yes or no.
I was annoyed that self parking was not offered directly by the hotel and that the extra ressort fees were not mentioned upon check in. For the price I expected much more.
For 250 per night not even breakfast was included. That would have been 26 bucks per head.
WiFi is only free if you are a Hilton Honour member.
Loved this hotel, everything about it was awesome. The service was amazing and the hotel amenities and service were truly 5 star. Anthony helped us with our bags to the room and gave us tons of tips about the area and the hotel. From the pool area they have quick access to the street and beach areas. Great weekend getaway for the family and high quality room and style. Very pleased with our stay and we will be back for sure.
Love this hotel. The Huntington Tower still needs some work. Oceanfront rooms need some thicker glass windows (noise from PCH). Great pool and restaurants! Hilton Diamond members get free buffet which is great. Parking is pricey (valet only). 10 minute walk to Main Street and Pier. Great place for a party or just a over night stay!
Great resort. Right across the street from the beach. Very kind staff. The resort was completely booked so we were unable to upgrade our room. They are adding a second tower and pool area in the near future that should help with the number of people.
This hotel exceeded expectations. Your resort fee is well utilized. Everything you need for a fun day at the beach with your kids is provided. This is a great hotel for kids and families. The accommodations and service are as you would expect.
