Due to covid there was no rm service & no bottled water either..you had to get what you needed yourself before 9:00 pm. The phones in the rm didn't work.. and No continental breakfast, very disappointed!! On the bright side, the rm was comfy, cozy, & quiet!

The rooms were tight and even though its kinda pricey its so worth it. Right next to a great beach and the pool was pretty cool to. Especially the light up hot tub
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS HOTEL! Best hotel in Huntington Beach, and there's lots of hotels in HB! Staff EXTREMELY POLITE, hotel very clean, rooms nice, food good, great location! ...what more can I say!!
Beautiful hotel. Nice staff. Love being across from the ocean and being next to all of the restaurants and stores. However, for the price of the stay and $34 a night for parking, they should be offering a complimentary breakfast and some coffee. And my only other complaint is, I don't get why you can't smoke outside on the balcony, it's outside and nobody else is breathing in that smoke. I probably won't stay here again but it might be nice to other people.
The rooms were clean and the servers were always making rounds to make sure that the event went smoothly. It is located right next to Pacific City and has a gorgeous ocean view.
We just stayed there last night and everything was perfect! We were finishing dinner when the Ridgecrest earthquake happened. As native southern Californians, we were unphased by the rolling. However, each any every employee helped at their stations. The restaurant manager came out to check on each table to make sure everyone was okay. The hostesses were also checking on everyone. Even as we walked up to our room to go to bed, the night crew was doing turn down service and offered to turn down our beds. We said no thank you and they asked to see if we were okay with earthquake. I was very impressed with their concern and offers to help as I am sure there were guests who were not so happy about the earthquake.
Didn't feel like the hotel did enough to provide for social distances. You certainly don't have to wear a mask here. Felt unsafe in the hotel, the employees seemed to have a dismissive attitude. Were harrasesd by other guests for wearing masks. I don't know what's going on but if you're from NorCal get ready , it's way different.
It was really nice. Great beach access and warm pool. However I really wish they had a parking lot instead of having valet only. Also the side door to the pool was always locked. Other than that, its great.
Decent hotel. Getting free WiFi requires jumping through hoops and that shouldn't be the case in 2019. Ocean view was surprisingly good. Hotel is sold but a little work around the edges.
Looks great. It is newly renovated, clean, and modern while keeping a relaxed beach vibe. It's not quite complete, and a little rough around the edges still. 5 star potential soon.
First of all Google, you are showing this hotel under 2 separate names with 2 different descriptions, reviews, prices, etc. The Waterfront Beach Resort, by Hilton is the same as Hilton Huntington Beach. Please fix ASAP. I am sure it s confusing travelers. And Hilton - wake up - you should have spotted this too.
I thought the hotel itself was just fine. My friend and I stayed in a spacious 1 bedroom suite with a balcony directly overlooking PCH and the beach. Check in was spotty. Prior to arriving I had extended our stay for another night. It was done under a separate reservation. We asked at check in if we could stay in the same room. The front desk manager insisted that I booked a different room type on the extended day and that we would have to move rooms. Turns out the room type was exactly the same after he looked into it. No apology though. In fact he had another member of his team make the call.
Other issue was the valet. Even when you called valet 30 min in advance of needing the car you still had to wait 15-20 min once you got outside. They were unorganized and unprofessional.
All that being said, I would stay there again, but I may check out another property first to compare. Kimpton or Hyatt. If, however, the head of food and beverage at the hotel could assure me that they will have Veuve Cliquot champagne by the bottle as one of the champagne choices on the menu then I would consider staying at the Hilton on my next visit.
For the record, we did not stay at the hotel we only rented the beach cabanas. The process was very easy the price was a little hard to stomach ,$450 for the day, but aside from the price the experience was fantastic. They cater to your every need bringing food and drink chairside. My only complaint is the quality of the beach in front of the Cabana. The walk out to the water is absolutely brutal. You will definitely need water shoes due to the amount of rocks and gravel. This is not a sandy, barefoot walk to the waters edge beach by any means. Ironically, just on the other side of the music and restaurant venue, there there's a public beach that has sandy access to the water that is free. So if you're willing to sit your butt in the sand and bring a towel you can enjoy the same water with better access for free. Of course there's no service there, you will be serving yourself, but you will have $450 in your pocket to buy drinks with ...so something to definitely consider.
Went for a trade show. Views are awesome. Staff friendly. Very clean. Catering was excellent. We were served assortment of food. h'orderves especially the chosen, shrimp and raw oysters were excellent. Everything was great. Only food item that wasnt good was the fish taco bar.
Ive stayed here on 2 occasions and spend over $4000 here. Could have been cleaner!!! I left a very detailed review card and NEVER received a response for it. So unprofessional for a place like this it makes me sick. There wasn't anyone to take my car out of valet at one point. Hallway was dirty the whole time smelling of ketchup. Was the same plate of food there the entire weekend until we finally realized no one would take it away, so we made the staff aware and it was finally removed, 2+ days later, as if no one is checking for room service. So disappointed I spent so much money on what I thought was a great hotel but I would have been much happier at the Hyatt, where I will for sure stay next time and every time. Never spending my money here again with this dirty and unprofessional place.
The place was very clean, the rooms were really nice. We got on on the 8th floor, so incredible view of the beach and LA. The restaurant wasn't the best, the Boardwalk. Our server, Alex, was really friendly and helpful. But honestly, the food wasn't great. The selection was strange and seemed like it was trying to be fancy, but ended up being confusing to navigate, especially for a vegetarian like myself.bour salad wasn't very good, giant chuncks of lettuce, nasty, runny dressing, and am expensive cost. On top of that, drinks were expensive, $14 for drinks and wine and $8 for bottled beer. Stay at the hotel for the nice rooms, but go somewhere else for food.
Went for Mother s Day Brunch and found it DREADFUL!! I m not sure how long a brunch has been hosted at this hotel but the food and layout was horrendous and for $100 per head was just plain stupid. Music was too loud so conversation was a challenge but heck there was little opportunity to converse with loved ones as the lines for food separated our party for most of the event. The line to get an omelette, waffle, or slice of beef was about 20-25 minutes!!!! 1 gentleman with 3 skillets for omelettes held up the line that had to be entered to get to the beef, the 1 waffle maker machine or the 1 prime rib station. Appeared to be 600+ people dining and the hotel had 1 station for service!! Normally a carving station is separate from the breakfast foods!! I m sure they saved a fortune on prime rib by making it inaccessible!! Inside, on the buffet tables, the shrimp were still frozen!! The crab was icy. No salad bar!! In the chaffing dishes the foods lacked flavor. At the dining table there was no option for a soda and no one to fill a water glass but the wait staff did come around frequently offering champagne. Gloves on servers hands were non existent. The lady scooping rock hard ice cream was gripping the scooper from the handle to the scoop end trying to get leverage and a glove was necessary. With so many kids wanting ice cream toppings, tongs would have been nice for the cherries so little booger fingers weren t touching all the cherries surrounding the one being picked. I have been to the neighboring hotels the previous 2 years for Mother s Day and thought we would try the Hilton Waterfront. If you re considering this location for Mother s Day or any other special event I would hesitate. I feel they do not know how to layout an organized event as yesterday I spent more time away from my family than with them because we were constantly in different long lines apart from one another. In addition the food was bland. I left the hotel yesterday, after the Valet FINALLY found my car, hungry and quite disappointed with the layout, food offerings, quality and flavor of the foods. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY FOR A BRUNCH!!!
The resort is very clean. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Prior to arrival we received an email with information on the area which we found very helpful. 10/10.
Just returned home from the best vacation! We brought our two dogs with us so we could take them to the dog beach. The staff was so awesome and friendly, and when they say they are pet friendly, it's the real deal. The little coffee shop at the front entrance is awesome as well - - their egg sandwich was the best I ever had!!!
Superior Service. Good location. Good quality rooms with excellent beds and good bathrooms. We've never been disappointed here. Easy walk to cable cars. Good restaurants within walking distance. We love this place.
Nice rooms, located directly at the Huntington Beach. Good food, coffee- and giftshop available. Unfortunately you will have quite some noise from the cost road, single pane windows give only little protection. Overall a nice venue, also for conferencing hosting from five to several hundred attendees.
Beautiful location. Very comfortable throughout the beautiful hotel. Staff was very pleasing. The Pool, restaurants, bar, market and store are all right at the hotel. Great resort overall.
Excellent service and new dolphin tower addition plus the new pool make this place an excellent vacation spot for families and add in the beach, ocean views within minutes of walking and to super great restaurants. We are Waterfront Hotel fans for life.
Wonderful view of the beach with extremely friendly service. It's a nice short walk to main Street and the pier. The room was clean and comfortable. Definitely planning a return trip.
Top notch hotel, staff and service. The quality of food served at restaurant on 2nd floor is lacking and doesn't fit the hotels other prime qualities, in my opinion. But, will return for stays.
Nice place. What you'd expect from a Hilton property. I didn't appreciate the way they advertise no resort fee and free parking, only to find out they meant on the public street. I way over-tipped the valets figuring I'd rather give them the money that normally goes to a parking fee. I tip well anyway, but this was double what if normally give a valet. Then, at cgeck-out, I discover the valet parking fee and the street side free parking. My bad for thinking it'd read the small print thoroughly. And, by the frustration on the checkout agent's manner, he must hear about this fairly often. I didn't give him grief because it's not his policy. But, Hilton needs to be a little more upfront about this, imho.
Nice place to visit, food is ok, could be better for a 5 star resort.. Few people at the Front Desk could be more attentive on promoting 15/5 rule, 15 feet eye contact, 5 feet greeting with smile, bellman, valet parking, maintenance, housekeeping, and food & beverage, very attentive and with a smile on their face. Overall good experience...
My husband & I stayed here for our honeymoon trip just this passed week & we were very pleased with our experience here! The hotel staff was very professional and friendly & made sure to acknowledge that we were on our honeymoon. They even had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne delivered to the room along with a card congratulating us :) Our room was an ocean view room, although it didn't actually face the ocean, we still had a pretty good view which we enjoyed while relaxing on the balcony. The room was very clean and well kept and the bed was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the large shower and shower head along with the complimentary Michael Todd products :) The hotel is a close walk to the beautiful beach as well as the pier and Downtown Huntington Beach which has a great selection of bars, restaurants and little shops. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and look forward to vacationing here again soon!
I liked this hotel in general, but my room wasn't particularly clean. The tile floor was dirty enough that I didn't feel comfortable taking off my shoes. The carpet had a couple stains in it. For the price of this hotel, I would expect that they take care of the basics of making sure the room is clean. But I did like some of the small touches like the delivery of chocolate to your room every night!
The Hilton Waterfront did not disappoint. Wonderful staff, gorgeous property and delicious food! Take advantage of the free shuttle that takes you to downtown Huntington Beach and Pacific City - which has tons of food and shopping. I wish we could come back again and again!
This place is absolutely gorgeous!!! Everywhere I looked I saw beachy decor...everyone I came in contact with was very welcoming & made me feel comfortable. I love the nail technician Paula, she is such a sweet woman, very happy, bubbly spirit...such an asset to The Waterfront. Yes I will return for a whole day spa experience!
Beautiful rooftop venue. A bit small. But I like small. I would love to have my bridal shower or something here! Cozy, nice seating, beautiful view, amazing service!
If anyone is searching for good deals for hotel rooms check out . made a reservation for a resort on there and they had the lowest prices any where!
Great service and quality! Excellent customer service! Thank you to Damian Garcia Director of front desk for taking wonderful care of my family and exceeding our expectations! Highly recommend this hotel.
Love the Hilton great vibes from the staff members, great food. Love the breakfast here and the the pools are so nice. Love the view from the this location. Every vacation I'm staying here.
