Chicky and Chippi's Vacuum, Cycle, and Fitness Review

I called bicycle village to schedule a quick maintenance on my bike that I initially bought from bicycle village. The person was upfront and said the waiting time would be exactly ten days before they look at my bike. I called chicky and chippi and they were really cool about me coming in and taking taking a look at the bike. I dropped it off Sunday around 1 and it was all fixed around 3:30pm! Thanks guys for the quick fix! Bike works great!

I bought my Riccar vacuum from Chicky & Chippi a few years ago and I absolutely love it!! They have the best customer service! I would highly recommend buying a vacuum from here! For years I kept buying vacuums that kept breaking down on me and losing their suction. This Riccar vaccum works as good as the day I first got it!

Huge selection of bikes and parts. Great service too. They have extended evening hours which is great for busy schedules.

If your looking for a great vacuum this is the place to go! I bought my frist Riccar 8 years ago and never had a problem with it. Yesterday I went to buy bags for it and seen the new model and purchased it. I will be giving my older model to my daughter so she doesn't have to go buy her hundred dollar throw aways any more. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I ve purchased multiple bikes, a kid s bike seat, helmets, and vacuums from Chicky and Chippi over the years. I appreciate their thoroughness explaining their products to help me choose what s best for my needs. They are never pushy and are always so helpful. The customer service is as outstanding as their products.

they will talk with you, and see what you need. Then sell you the proper bike, even if it means bypassing what is in stock and ordering a great fit !

Very disappointed with the service we received. Took a power vacuum head in as it was shutting off. They called and told us there was hair in the rollers but the mechanism apparently had heated up and had melted parts as well ( I never smelled anything burning). The parts could not be ordered and they quickly offered to sell us a new $800 powerhead, which we refused. My husband took the head apart and yup there was hair around the rollers (so they didn t even clean it to see if that was the issue) . We removed it and the unit powered back up. We also ordered a new roller/belt unit ($20) and installed that and it s working just fine. So I m really not sure what they did or didn t try to do to fix it and parts are still available for this unit. I think all they want to do was make a $800 sale. So sorry to say I can t recommend this store.......

Love this shop!!! Always helpful and willing to talk (and listen). They truly just want you as a customer to be happy and enjoy riding your bike. Always my first stop, always top notch service, always friendly.

The staff is friendly. The environment is clean. The entire customer experience was 5 stars easy.

I stopped by this place to get a new seat for my bike and not know exactly what I wanted. The gentleman at the store asked all the correct questions to find out what I needed and wanted. By doing this I hot just the correct seat for comfort. I was also having a problem with my handle bar stem the person there was able to figure out exactly what was needed to fix it and made my ride so much better. I will definitely send my family there to get them a bike. Great customer service and reasonable prices for the quality of the product they have the store.

I was looking for a belt for an older style vacuum. I checked out other stores no luck, went into Chicky and Chippi store showed the broken belt to salesman and within three minutes I had a new belt. Quick and friendly service, will definitely go back for repair parts.

I had my bike tuned up - wheels trued and effort to correct trouble shifting gears. Still wasn't right, but then a new better quality chain was recommended - that has worked marvelously! Thanks for patience and diligence to make things right!

If you are looking for a great Vacuum that s built to last I highly recommend shopping here for one! I went through so many junk vacuums before coming here! I absolutely love the Riccar vacuum I got from Chicky & Chippi! They are also very helpful, patient, and friendly! The store is immaculate!

Went in there two weeks ago and associate helping me had to keep reminding me I bought a department store bike and his never would have had the problems mine had. I felt like I was being talked down to because of where my bike came from.
I brought my bike in because it had a problem, not to be reminded that it wasn't the best bike.

I have purchased a bike from this place as well as recommended many of my friends and family members here in the past that have also bought bikes. The owner Brad (that has recently been accused of discriminating against a woman with epilepsy and not allowing her in the store with a service dog) has honestly never been very kind, friendly, or honestly very welcoming towards me but they have a couple bike mechanics that have always been informative and very amazing! I will no longer support this shop and I will no longer suggest them to anybody I know. In fact I will be sure to bad mouth them every chance I get. This situation was handled very poorly by the business owner and I feel horrible for the woman that had to deal with him and his behavior. If you re out looking for a place to purchase a new bike don t shop here, check out Rays or Schomaker s instead!

Got old vacuum fixed here. I found Robert Chicky's knowledge on the vacuum market interesting and influential in my next purchase at Chicky vac. Great service, and very personable owners.

This is the best shop in the TRI city area, not only do they stock a vast amount of bikes for all riding experiences, but both owners are dedicated and present in the shop every day. I went to Chicky hoping to find a new vacuum to use on my wood floors as well as carpet. With 4 dogs I needed something that could effectively defur my house due to my son and I both having allergies. Robert told me everything about several different vacuum options at different price levels and helped me decide on the one that would be best for my home. We love our new Riccar vacuum with all its features specifically for pets!! They also gave me a great deal on my trade in.

In the process of teaching my daughter how to ride a bike, I realized that I would need one. After a stop at a chain sporting goods store, I realized that I needed an expert. I stopped into Chippi's and received a education on both customer service and current technology in bicycles. Brad and Robert took the time to help me select the perfect bike for my needs. In fact, I was so impressed that I went back days later to get one for my wife. These guys are a class act! Thanks again guys!

My wife and I were looking for a bike helmet for a gift @ Chippi & Chicky. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and were impressed by the very clean and well-stocked showroom. Bob directed us to them and explained the difference between their bicycles and products from entry-level to pro-rider. We found the perfect helmet both in price and quality. He took time to answer all of our questions and we found that they carry parts and accessories for many quality bikes and vacuums. I went in to buy a cable for my gear shifter. I asked him if there was a trick to get the old one off and he went into a song and dance about liability if he gave me advice. Every time I asked a question he gave me the run around. I felt like he took advantage of my lack of knowledge instead of teaching me. He reluctantly gave me prices for stuff and I left with a new gear shifter instead of the cable I asked for. I went down the road to Bicycle Village and the first question they asked is "Do you know how to get the old one off?" I said no and they proceeded to explain and demonstrate. Chicky & Chippi may have made a sale but they certainly didn't gain a customer. It's Bicycle Village for me going forward.

Very informative and patient with explaining their products. We ended up buying one of their American-made vacuums and it easily outperformed our last vacuum. If you are looking for a quality vacuum, I would recommend this place.

I am very happy with my new vaccum. Brought it home and started using it right away. Very light weight. Robert was very helpful and knew his product. At this point, having just purchased it, I am totally satisfied with both the purchase and the service.

Chicky and Chippi's has great customer service and are very knowledgeable about their bikes. I purchased my bike from them 2 years ago and I have used it a lot. I appreciate the store's free tune ups where they check your brakes, gears, and tires.

I stopped by to talk about some bikes and they have a very good Selection and knowledge of there products plus they have been around for a long time, this is the place I will always come back too.

7 years ago I bought the best vacuum I have ever owned. My Riccar is still going strong today as it has adapted to three different homes over those 7 years. It out performs any vacuum I may use away from my home. Each time I go back to Chicky and Chippy's I feel welcomed and cared for as a member of the Chicky and Chippi customer family.

Best bikes in town. I purchased a high end road bike a few years ago and it runs perfectly. You get what you pay for. Their accessories on the other hand are overpriced. You can get the same items on Amazon for half the price.

These guy are nothing short of patient, kind, and accommodating. I've been buying all of my tools and parts from them for years now and have always left feeling like a valued customer. The owners are friendly guys and the techs in the back do great work. I've never felt pressured or pushed by an upsell. There are a few bike shops in saginaw, but this one is my go to.

I was looking for a mtn bike and drove to 7 different stores. Stopped here while on business trip and was impressed by the customer service and product knowledge. Ended up driving 2 hours round trip to pick up my new 27.5+ fattie but it was definitely worth it. Robert and Ben were awesome and extremely helpful. Love the lifetime adjustments policy also!

I bought a bike from Walmart. They put it together just enough to make it look like a bike. I have little knowledge of how to adjust everything. I took it to Chippi and they did a remarkable job!

WE have three dogs and have purchased the most expensive vacuums the dept store had to offer and we where lucky to get a year or so out of a so called pet vaccum. Went and saw Robert and Brad at CHICKY@CHIPPI and they showed us a made in USA RICCAR RETRIEVER VACUUM made with metal parts not all plastic like all the dept store vacuums . Absolutely love our new Riccar thankyou Robert and Brad for explaining the differrence.Soon we will need some Quality bikes also hope to see you in the spring ..!!!

Just bought a new Specialized Fatboy and this is my second fat tire bike.
My first was a "Framed" name brand bought down the road, both are horrible.Lesson Learned! The whole crew spend a lot of time with me while a was in multiple times, trying to decide on which model. I'm so pleased that this is my very first review and what to share a GREAT EXPERIENCE!

In March 2016 I went in looking for a bike. I was shown a few bikes in my price range I was looking for and was looking to try them out. Unfortunately the size I needed was not available for trial. I was told to return the next day to try a bike they would put together for me. I arrived and started to get on the bike to find it wasn't the right size based on the specifications. Fortunately Tyler the associate helping me asked if I'd like to try another bike that was my size. Upon riding it, I fell in love and although it was out of my price range a bit, Robert the owner did everything he could to meet my expectations and pricing as best as they could. I walked out with a new bike and every time I need something, Tyler always takes care of me. I've sent several people there as well

Overall, a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful and took the time to explain what would be a good fit for me and my husband. They didn't try to up-sell or push me into stuff I didn't need. Couldn't be happier with our purchase and the customer service.
