Located in front of the beach, it has direct access to the road to reach it.
The view from the rooms is delightful even though the road is almost always very busy.
Inside there are numerous services from the restaurant to the minimarket and the pool bar.
Covered paid parking: free parking in some neighboring streets.

The Waterfront Beach Resort (Hilton Hotel) is located right on the corner of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Tein Dolphin. The hotels main entrance is stunningly beautiful with breath taking chandeliers upon walking in. They have a GIANT RED CHAIR directly to your left once you walk in, 100 times bigger, comical...

All the hotel staff are wearing masks and roughly 50% or the patrons are not!!!

The hotel has strict pool rules, 10:00PM. The views from the room over looks the pool which has three (3) different]

Unbeatable and amazing staff! They truly made the stay an enjoyable and fun experience. We stayed four nights during the US Open for Surfing (2014), and although the rates were quite high (high season), it was well worth it! We've stayed in four different spots in Huntington, but after this stay, we'll only be booking future trips to The Waterfront. The location is PERFECT, amenities, including Polynesian nights, complimentary beach items, such as boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc,. complimentary shuttle, and the facilities are beautiful and "homey" - not too big and overwhelming - and the staff were incredibly hospitable. They weren't just "doing their jobs;" they were friendly, welcoming and just so dang nice! From the time we drove up and met James, Edwin and Shane to AJ, Anthony and Brad at the front desk, to Sofia who made sure our room was spotless each day, we we will most certainly be back! Great place to stay - great, great staff!

The room and the view were fine for the cost. My law school had an event here, we were told that parking would be 11 dollars. I had two cars parked on my room and walked out with a $64 dollar bill! When I called all I got was some woman who told me that the price was 32 a night. When I told her there is a sign right out front that says 15 she told me I was wrong (I'm a lawyer I look at these things). I won't stay here again.

I wish there was a 4.5 star option. This hotel was beautiful and we loved stay there. Gorgeous views, an awesome pool and very comfortable bed. I was really impressed that there was a guest laundry that was FREE! No need to scramble for quarters here, unless you need laundry supplies which are only 75 cents. I had my own with me though (I d been traveling for a while). I wish more hotels did this. The reasons for 4 stars is that we found the room very small. Also, we found it very difficult to find our way in and out of the hotel. Most Americans seem to drive everywhere, while we prefer to walk around. The main lobby side of the hotel had a driveway with no clear walkway. The beachside had construction works going on by the road. A vehicle was up on the sidewalk once so we really didn t know how we were meant to walk in and out. The staff gave us directions on getting out but they all assumed we had a car or were getting picked up. We seemed to be the only people who left the hotel on foot so I guess no-one else encounters this. That aside, an ideal place to stay in Huntington Beach that I d definitely recommend.

Another very nice Hilton hotel! I have to admit as a Las Vegan we're spoiled by the greatest food, fun and sheer spectacle, so my perspective is a bit unfair.
The Waterfront is in need of another restaurant....choices!
And the $34 per night parking fee is way too high.
It's right across the street from the beach and really close to tons of fun places to eat and shop so yeah no complaints there.

We had a great stay over the 4th of July weekend. From check-in to check out the service was great. Takes care of their Diamond members, kids and wife love the pool and the restaurants didn't disappointe.

Don t let the reservations staff fool you. The new Twin dolphin tower wing is nothing like the Huntington tower. Still beautiful views but not the fun atmosphere. A bit stiff and ridged with parents chasing children. Not for the chill crowd.

The Waterfront was an excellent choice to stay over Veterans Day weekend (annual Veterans Day carshow). There were plenty of sites, eateries and enough outdoor activities for the outdoor enthusiasts. Plenty of amenities were in close proximity only a short Lyft/Uber ride away.

The hotel is loud. I agree with comments made on other reviews, the walls are way too thin. I think that if you're going to spend a high premium, there are better options at this price point.

Stayed there for business and it was a beautiful resort and I loved looking out to the ocean from my balcony. I also loved eating breakfast at one of the restaurants overlooking the pool and ocean as well as the fire pit areas it was gorgeous!

The staff from the time you hit the valet to the time you leave, is ready to help or assist you. The pool area is very family friendly, and you can enjoy food and adult beverages there too. Love that the young ladies in the coffee shop always greet you with a friendly smile. Michael, the bartender, is always happy to converse...besides making whatever you'd like.

Visited Shades restaurant for family breakfast get together. Service was poor and food was overpriced, portions small, and not good. We ordered odd menu; did not have the buffet. Would never go back for breakfast.

The accommodations here are what to expect from a Hilton. Clean, respectable rooms. Good decor. The staff is great and customer service is wonderful. It's as close to the beach as your going to get. The gym here only is not what you expect from a hilton...it has treadmills and one cycle with one A frame and one set of bumbbells...there is plenty of room for more equipment but it doesn't seem to be their focus. The food is ok by my standards. Henry's is worth a stop for the 10 course or 3 course meal. This is a good place to stay for a weekend or week at the beach.

Our 6th visit in 5 years and it is always a 5 star experience. The resort is clean and updated and bright. Excellent location on PCH. The staff is always accommodating and pleasant. We had an issue with our thermostat during our stay last week. Maintenance was sent up immediately and found the issue and told us the front desk would call us. Within 5 minutes the front desk called and had a new room for us.
The pool areas are clean and updated and beautiful. The view from the pools is right to the ocean.
I could go on and on but trying to keep it short.

Special thanks to Mr Joseph Boyer. Your resort is top notch.

The room was awesome. Very nice. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel closed the pool for a wedding which was unappreciated. Overall, a positive experience. Hotel provided beautiful views and easy access to Huntington Beach.

This is a great hotel with an awesome view - awesome food and nice staff.

I had some issues with their swipe cards not being able to read my credit cards....it was a good lesson that not all countries have embraced chip cards and you need to make sure the swipe strip is in good shape before you leave.

I'm very pleased with this location. You may want to consider simply getting a taxi to this location because the overnight valet charges are so high. Especially off season, they are quite cost competitive for being beach front. For surfer tournaments expect prices to double. Book and plan ahead! My favorite is the breakfast. $15 for buffet breakfast is a steal and makes friends and families want to come visit you vs you having to travel anywhere.

All around great experience. Rooftop bar opened the first night we stayed here. Wonderful service and food. The hotel waiting wonderful. The staff were so helpful. It really was a great experience. Once the new pool is done I have to go back. Highly highly recommend. Worth the money!

Nice location with ease of access to the beach. Also next to a shopping center that is walking distance. The rooms are well kept and the TV channels are standard for resorts. The restaurant inside the resort was nice but a little pricey. Pool is good size with a capacity of 100 people.

Quite enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back. Attentive staff, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the linen napkins, poolside service at the Driftwood Pool, made to order omelets, balconies to sit on and all the glass fixtures (chandeliers, sculptures, etc). Squeals of delight from kids, sand chairs at the activity center, easy access to the beach and a shuttle to the pier also made me happy.

Hotel was in great location and amenities were good. We were in Huntington tower and it wasn't the renovated one but not too bad. Beds were not too comfy and AC Auto mode didn't work well. Just stayed on all night. Nice place but a lot of renovation going on. Should be better once all done.
