They discriminate against people with assistance dogs and do not allow them entry unless its a guide dog

This is a violation of the Equalities Act 2010 - Reasonable Adjustment and failure to make reasonable adjustment and discrimination arising from disability

Catherine Lawrence said we have many disabled people here they are not allowed assistance dogs.

Every disability is different everyone copes differently. some need walking sticks, some need wheelchairs, some need assistance dogs.

When I said I'm recording this phone call she didn't like it but still refused to say they accept assistance dogs

I suggest you speak with your solicitors, soon

Now they are saying "Registered" well where in the Equalities Act does it say Registered, ADUK or accredited. These people need to speak with a solicitor fast or they will be paying compensation

You have to check out the health club. Excellent facilities.

Held a conference here last month and the room was lovely, refreshments tasty and hot, and the staff very friendly and helpful

We hired a conference room for my parents 50th wedding anniversary, and the help and attention to detail from all the yeam was fantastic!

Love this place!! Whether it is afternoon tea, a spa break or a girls day, you cannot go wrong here.

Went there for a wedding. The evening buffet was ... OKish, music fab, but staff started clearing everything away while guests were still dancing and ditting at the tables. Made me decide not to let my children marry there.

The Vale fully utilises its out of town location to provide guests with stunning views and top notch sports facilities. Having visited on a professional event, I can say that it has a great capacity to host private functions, with spacious and stylish suites designed to cater for large groups and great catering options available. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Vale.

Absolutely stunning surroundings, golf courses (2) awesome, friendly staff, rooms and food amazing. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Also has a large gym and spa.

Stayed overnight and room was really good, the pool and spa were lovely and very welcoming, only marked as 4 stars as food wasn't up to the standard I was expecting and even though enjoying the evening wasn't quite up to the standard.

Louise's mobile hair and beauty were in attendance to 3 clients, each for hair and make up.
The environment was lovely, as always. Noticed the lighting is far better than it used to be, for makeup application

One of the best quality hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in. This is my 15th visit for pleasure and I plan on returning.

1st visit for a short conference, I enjoyed the venue, and food was good

Great hotel amazing location with the castle on the grounds. Staff were first class and attentive, it has a really great restaurant that does amazing food I will defiantly come back even for just a meal.

Great venue for a meal/drink and get together. I went to the organised Firework display - nice burgers and hot dogs, drinks weren't overpriced either ( met some of the Welsh rugby team too ! )

It is a very good place and all staff are friendly and that is basically all they also have a very nice gym and pool. So yeah as I said it is good. And bobs probably not your uncle.

Booked a 2 night stay and it was just what we need. Excellent service as the staff were wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

Experienced a superb weekend , reception friendly, room fantastic , food excellent, it was just the weather , wet wet wet , we did manage to play golf but it was very wet and boggy . However the Welsh Rugby Union Team were staying there at the same time what a lovely bunch of lads , they spent a great deal of time signing autographs for lots of kids well done chaps , (they beat Italy by the way).Thoroughly recommend The Vale Resort

The WiFi in the Gym does not work well, I have complained about it 3 times and nothing happens. You can't track your progress with out it.

Excellent hotel. On this visit I used the gym facilities (free for those staying at the hotel) and they were superb. Food in the bar was great quality as was breakfast.

Fab, relaxing day. We left feeling completely reinvigorated. We'll be back again soon

We booked a stay at the Vale resort in South Wales as a present for my partners birthday. We were really looking forward to the stay and enjoying the spa and relaxing.

What happened was completely the opposite. We arrived and the room was OK (but fousty) and we went for food which was nice. Having eaten we went back to our room to have a glass of champagne relax and have an early night. This was impossible as next to our room was a party! Yes they had put spa customers who have paid to relax next to a party. We complained and were asked by a manager if we wanted a bottle of champagne to drink ourselves to sleep! Which we refused as we simply wanted peace and quiet at 11pm which I don't feel is unrealistic.
We were eventually moved rooms ('upgraded') to a smaller room on the other side of the party with just as much noise. The party went on til 1am then we finally got some sleep.

The next day we complained again and requested a refund, wewere offered dinner and then a complimentary stay which we declined as the experience was dreadful and we never want visit again.



This was an unpleasant stay and we had to chase all parties involved around. It seems once you have paid they don't care about you anymore.

Great venue & Chrimbo event, the ladies toilet in the event suite had a really pungent air freshener that was very very unpleasant and needs to be changed

Visited my sister staying here. Wow hotel very clean and nice. Hotel room large and spacious and bathroom wuth seperate shower and verge large deep bath. Perfect for a getaway night away.

I went for a work function and the food and hospitality were great

Attended a conference and was very well looked after! Beautiful grounds and was with people who had spent the night there and spoke very highly of the place.

The hotel is surrounded by a golf course and immersed in the countryside. The view is nice and calm, however it is inconvenient to reach due to very narrow roads. The rooms are a little dated and the power outlets are UK only. Breakfast is not at the level of the structure and repetitive.

Not very pleased with this resort for the services for the following reasons
1) This resort being 4 star didn't provide robes & slippers in the room.

3) On arrival we were asked which newspaper would we send to our room. It never came.
4) Tried booking a table for dinner in the restaurant, the waiters, waitress, cooks etc around started looking at us & after a while a waitress came & told us that they didn't have space for us but she said we can have food at the bar where they serve some food. I guess they decided not to serve food looking at our faces probably trying to be racist. The resort is located in the country side so finding a restaurant close to resort was difficult & so we were only left with a option of having limited food at the bar. Resort should able to accommodate all their guest for dinner due to the location.
When we ordered food for dinner, the food was served without cutlery. Dessert was served without spoon & upon asking I was given soup spoon. This is the service provided at 4 star hotels restaurant.
We traveled all the way long from Manchester to Cardiff travelling 4 hours to this resort which wasn't true to its price & standard.

The location of resort is really good, restaurant & bar food is really tasty but not pleased with such service & poor attitude of people at the restaurant.

Have been to various 4 star hotels in the country available at cheaper rates but outstanding service. Even 3 star hotels are far better off then this resort. Please avoid if have to pay higher rates.

Good rooms and golf courses.
Drinks reasonably priced but snacks a little expensive

As soon as we walked in there was a xmas atmosphere. The staff made us feel very special even to the point asking us if we would like the doors shut in the bar and heating turned. The food in the grill restaurant was stunning.

Can t wait to stay again.

Good hotel, OK golf course that doesn't drain well. Better courses in the area but a good base to stay.

The Health Spa is pure bliss. Fantastic treatment, highly competent staff , all round wonderful day.

If you expect to arrive to the hotel and have a chance to check in 5 minutes earlier, don't!

If you expect to arrive here and have anything to do, don't! Unless you play golf, the spa has no vacancy for a full week!

Cleanliness? I would say that not what I was expected in the public toilets for a 4 star hotel!

Wasps inside the bar! Not 1, not 2 not 3... a few!

If you expect quiet and green areas, then it is the ideal!

Fantastic facilities and the food was excellent well worth a visit.
