Golden dragon restaurant in Taj it has chinese food awesome food , excellent service and good ambience . we had Dragon Chicken , the crab dimsum was too good in all fabulous experience nice relaxing atmosphere.

very luxury hotel with the service at it's best. the hotel has multiple restaurants included, for different cuisines. the place is very beautiful, with a great pool in the beautiful garden. the hotel offers also professional spa treatments, this has been verified by me :-D
all this comes at a price, but this is obvious. the location of the property could not be better. you have the india gateway right on the side, where you can take a ferry to the elephant caves. behind the hotel you have the opportunity to go shopping or do some sightseeing or visit some cafes or restaurants. 15 min by foot you are on the other side of the island and can enjoy the sunsets.

The place is worth visiting but didn't find the food at Shamiyana and Masala Kraft that awesome, high price and low portion, if got the dough and wondering where to spend it in style, this is it.

The Taj Hotel is the most famous and well-known name of Mumbai. It is a 5-star hotel. Taj Hotel is quite clean and beautiful. From Taj Hotel, you can also see the breathtaking view of the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea. You can take a taxi from Chatgate Station and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to come here and you can also come by walking.

The hotel 10 years ago on 26/11/2008 suffered a big damage in a terror attack but reviving back to its full capacity is the best thing about TAJ HOTELS. It s the ultimate 5 star hotel in Mumbai and one of the first built by an Indian for Indians.

Has shopping centre and cake shop also has restaurants and a beautiful swimming pool.

Interior gives the feel of being a Maharaja... it s a palace inspired architecture. The materials used and paintings found in hotel are exclusive and very expensive.

Great hotel, try the cafe to the right of the entrance. Called Shamaiyan, I have mis-spelt the name but you'll find it!

We had dinner at Tha Masala Craft in Taj on 28th Dec 2017. It was a horrible experience. We had ordered the starters along with fresh lime soda for all the7 guests. The main course was also ordered simultaneously. The table layout was haphazard. The forks and knives were wrongly placed. In any case there was no consistency in placing of the cutlery. Whilst the plates were being changed after the starters, they were so callous and making noises. Best of all , after the main course was served, we enquired about our drinks. After about 7 to 8 minutes the steward comes and says " my apologies, forgot to order the fresh lime soda". If this is the standard of a 5 Star reputed hotel, then God save us. May be we should pardon one mistake and the callous attitude of one Steward. But we had an awful experience at the Taj.

Truly an experience to here, you can expect the best in hospitality once u have entered the Taj.

There is some work on the road near the Taj Mahal, there is traffic for it. but please is awesome.

You are at a international standard hotel so so you can feel the pleasant service but at high price when you compare to outside restraunt.

It is equidistant to Churchgate on the Western line and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus which serves harbour and central lines. You can take a bus or taxi. It is right next to Gateway of India

This place is marvellous, expensive and a heaven for the too rich people in Mumbai. Celebraties too often visit this place for their stay in Mumbai or an important event.

We were looking for a staycation after 6 months of Covid pandemic , so was looking for a property with maximum safety and sanitisation protocols.

The staff especially Ms Mahta and Mr Anirudh were so helpful

Beautiful hotel but many hidden charges. $100 for two Gin and Tonic's and I was charged for an extra night despite contacting them about a booking issue with Wotif. I disputed it with the credit card company but Taj Mahal refused to acknowledge the clerical error between them and Wotif and put the charges onto me. I enjoyed the stay but won't visit again.

undoubted visit in taj palace have great experience. we enjoyed stay in Taj palace. one must have come once at least.

It is a fantastic hotel - it should be 5 stars except for noise levels - the rooms are not sound proofed and you can hear the DJ all night. Everything else is amazing.
