Superb location. The view from the room is awesome. Food is devine. Most important thing is that they bounced back after 26/11. Salute, respect and love!

It was an State Event Organise with Comfort and Care

One of the most popular hotels in mumbai. Location and services are pretty good. But the reservations team is sort of unpleasant to deal with. They are slow in responding and not happy with customer queries. I hope Taj management notices this and train their reservations team better.

Absolutely one of my favourite places in the world. As soon as you step into this place you feel as if you ve stepped into heaven. Plenty of restaurants to enjoy. However you can t use the spa and facilities if you are not a guest at the hotel. Definitely a must visit if you are in Mumbai. Love it!

It's the great Taj, famous for it's hospitality, service and terror attacks of 26/11.

Toilets are absolutely fantastic. Cedar wood seats, abundance of toilet paper, nice paintings to look at while using the facilities, cloth towels and am attendant to hand you soap and linen. Excellent service.

Back here after ages.
Used to visit it a lot during the 90's with my Grandpa and Aunt to Tanjore amd the fabulous Buffet.
Then in Y2K a lot of Hewlett Packard events.
But now a lot of events have shifted to the suburbs.
Parking here is a Chore. Best to park elsewhere and cab it out.

Just wow, what a place! Beautiful room and kind attentive staff. Breakfast was possibly the best of any hotel I've stayed in. Glad someone else was paying the bill however.

Amazing stay in this beautiful hotel, food was great, room was great but best above everything in this hotel was the service the hotel provides. Simply incredible stay. I had possibly the best night s sleep I ve ever had before. The beds were soft, like laying in a cloud. The bathrooms, stunning a complimentary bath pack made for a refreshing spa in the comfort of my hotel room.
The amenities are abounding here, with a crystal clear pool, shopping, restaurant, and complimentary tea times. The staff is friendly but professional, and overall provide a very luxurious experience.

The place is like a heaven from inside.. the more you walk in the more you fall in love with it. From entrance till flow its completely under AC. You will mostly notice Foreigners residing there who had came for Mumbai tour and even the friendly behaviour of staff to help you to reach... its structure from inside with lovely decorations will make you see the past memories of Taj mumbai...

This Taj Palace must revert to its ertswhile glory.In the hands of obstrutive and novice staff,the experience is robbed off all charm.We were looking to experience history but were viewed with distrust by haughty new boys manning the reception.At every point we were asked to prove our credentials as guests and the trainees would seek to read rules to us on every point making it a stifling experience.We were provided fruit in our room but also abjured that it was against policy to eat within the precincts of the room.We came back shaken and stirred .Only The Leela Kovalam where we moved next saved our souls.
We instead had a wonderful time in the main reception and the food staff was great.Kindly do post experienced people at The Taj Palace.The Taj Group remains our go to destination always.

The worst service for a place with huge reputation. Unless the outside cafe lounge was handled by a outside third party vendor this is not what I expected. Honestly Starbucks with self service is better than this.

Had to ask to clean the table 3 times before it was somewhat clean.

It's a must visit place. Coffee house is just opposite Gate way of India. It looks great from coffee house. Its little costly but worth it.

Good looking place

A prominent 5 star hotel which offers regal services to their customers; it includes royal dining, a splendid bar, swimming pool , spa, massage, aerobics, fitness centre and so on and so forth. Most of the foreigners opt this place rather than any other hotel in Mumbai, as there is a famous monument "Gateway of India" just behind the hotel and also has an adorable sea view.
I recommend have a boat ride at Saleem's party boat , do some window shopping at Church Street and have some street food at Khao Gali which are at a walkable distance.
