Ofcourse it always deserve at 7 star out of 5 star rating for every possible way they treat their visitors. Had been there for dinner and it always make you feel at home.

I always wished to stay in this hotel and I did get a chance but I expected more. Like just to enter the hotel it took us nearly thirty minutes because it was nearly sold out . The rooms were splendid but could have been better for the price you pay . You don't have many amenities as it is a business hotel . The location is great but has heavy traffic because of gateway of India. I believe the hotel is overpriced considering the historic importance.

Nice Staff , courteous, I had visited during SBI Banking conclave, one of trainee staff serving at soup counter, tea and coffee is excellent and humble, it doesn't reflect that she is trainee. Courteous and humbleness of staff makes this hotel Palace

Was at the Hotel attending an exclusive seminar and while the arrangements, food and hospitality was impeccable, we were disturbed by a lot of noise from outside ever time any door opened and closed. This was very disturbing and distracting, and rather surprising as I expected a more peaceful ambience. I think there were multiple weddings going on, and as a result the exclusive hotel was as crowded as a train station!

One hotel that does not need any reviewing. The location, the food, the lobby, the staff, the hospitality, the grandeur of the interiors and most other things are as good as one can hope to find in the best hotels of the world. I went to shamiyana for their lunch buffet. The variety is enticing and the nothing that I say can do justice to the quality and taste of the food served.

But this time was very different I was in quarantine for 14 days
Even though we're not permitted to step out of my room the hospitality was perfect . they were very cooperative and anticipating the government norms took care in best.way they could.Truely thankful to all of you for working so hard with PPE and making us comfortable in these difficult times

The legacy is the only shizz. Could be better. Oberoi in Mumbai is a tad more pampering.

My review is mostly about Shamiana restaurant. The food was without a doubt up to the mark. Service could have been better. Most times we were looking around for a waiter to address us. The tables seemed too close to was h other would prefer some more separation. Well lit area countered crowded tables hence it wasn't a big deal.

Had been here for a family event. Few words cannot describe my experience. Its one of the resplendent property anyone visiting/staying in Mumbai should experience once in his/her life.

We were assembled on the 18th floor for the event. And the view from top is spectacular - you feel royally mighty as well as soulful at the same time.

The event went very well giving us pleasant memories to look back upon. I need not say about the ambiance and food - it was simply superb !

This hotel is fantastic! The service, the food, the rooms, just everything about it! FABULOUS! I would not even look at any other hotels in Mumbai! The service is beyond incredible and elegant but also friendly and approachable. We also booked a day tour with their car thru the concierge and were very happy! JUST FANTASTIC! Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the Club Level!

I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 2 week trip to India & it was a fantastic way to end the trip, worth every penny. Definitely worth paying extra to stay in the old Heritage wing on 5th or 6th floor with view of India Gate. We had a fab room, butler service 24 hours, entry to the lounge where hot and cold drinks with biscuits available complimentary all day. Free wine & cocktails between 6-8pm and with the cost of alcohol in India this was great and then complimentary cognac and chocolates after dinner ...oh I forgot the complimentary high tea from 3.30-5pm. The pool area was lovely and the lobster was fantastic at the poolside grill in the evening. You must book the complimentary Heritage tour at 5.30pm each day which is very interesting. We had a complimentary transfer back to the airport...I way was included in the price and our driver was brilliant. As we had time to spare he took us on a trip around Mumbai to Ghandis house, Victoria Station, the Laundry and Watson hotel which was so nice, obviously we gave him a tip but it was just an unexpected extra ...such great hospitality. The flowers in the hotel are stunning, and a lovely top and tail welcome and goodbye given by the staff. Highly recommend.

Too much higher rates...the trident is a more better option compared to every aspect and factor..the melodrama even after spending 15000 bucks for one night is missing...too costlier option and staff too is so so...food is also good..cannot be termed as excellent when u pay 500 bucks for a portion of simple potato wedges and when they are served..they turned out to be too salty..sorry to say but as far as meals are concerned rather than spending 4000 or 5000 buck's for average meal at taj...the yummilicious food at nearest bademiya costs u only 1000 buck's for 2 pax and is a wow moment

The Taj experience is one I have always wanted to have. And on our first ( but not only) visit it surpassed expectations.
The location in Apollo Bunder is excellent, the seaview room we had was magnificent and the choice of restaurants was tremendous. To have breakfast in the Sea Lounge was something I will not forget ever.
It is an oasys of calm and tranquility in Mumbai's madness and the service levels are unsurpassed.
We will be back someday ....
