My Family wanted to enjoy our stay here. We really did.However, the hotel was a Disappointment from the Moment we arrived.My Parents and Myself Arpan Ghosh booked Room Number 308 at Taj Mumbai on Date 4th-6th January 2020 we are Subscribed for Inner Circle Club Membership Pertaining to the fact that Services should be Impeccable, but Encountered Rude Attitude.

On Checking Inn no Initiative was made to Enquire for our Purpose of Walking Inside the Hotel Lobby,Even Luggage had to be Manually Unloaded from the Car booked from Hotel When contacting the Reception Desk the Representative showed very Casualness on Serving us and I personally had to Request Hotel Staff to show Leniency as my Parents are Aged,I was assured for Room within a Couple of Minutes however had to wait for Half an hour in the Lobby.On Reaching the Hotel Room the 1 out of 2 Bathrobe Contained Hair Strand The Staff changed the Bathrobe Unapologetically.
The Next Day A Short Tour was Planned in and Around Mumbai and When Approached to the Reception Staff Mohammed was Supposed to Arrange for the same However slightest Effort that was shown by him was to Give Hand Direction for the Cab parked outside the Hotel.We had Requested for the Hotel Car On Enquiring it was Communicated All The Cars from the Hotel was on their way for Airport Pickup even though we Observed 2 Tata Hexa and Jaguar was Inside the Premises.My parents Accompanied by me stood at the Scrothching Heat Outside the Hotel Utterly Confused that which Cab to Actually board even the Staff Stationed outside the Hotel Premises never bothered to help us.At Night we had Booked a Dining Reservation at the Golden Dragon the Waiter Serving us was giving the Impression of Disgust,and when I asked for Water Refill Purposefully an Attempt was made and water was spilled on my Hand.After Dinner My Family and I followed the Direction inside the Tower Premises which Lead to the Main Taj Mahal Palace Hotel Staircase on Clicking a Selfy Inside the Staff used utterly Disgusted Language Infront of My Parents i.e "Delete the Picture Right Now Infront of Me"such were the Adjectives used.It is Imperative that you Understand it is Your Failure to Comply with your Impeccable Service Inspite of Subscribing us as an Inner Circle Club Member.In Short I am Compelled to Inform you that I will no Longer be Requiring any Services offered by Taj be it Mumbai or Elsewhere.

Thus it is Clear that the Hotel does not Cater to the Hospitality of Outsiders and Treat them with Disgust and do not Rescind from using any Adjectives that they Please and Speak their Free Will.From Security Guards to Lift Operator,General Duty Staffs Reception Staffs treats Outsiders giving the Impression of Favor done to Guest by letting them stay at the Hotel However they are not Informed that Guests Checking Inn with them are far more Privileged than their Understanding,and any Review Questioning their Services is Answered with Bureaucratic Red Tape Answers.

An astonishing building ever built by Taj. It is one of the expensive hotel to stay in Mumbai. It also has a restaurant inside for people who just want to enjoy the Taj hotel without booking rooms.
It is just opposite to Gateway on India which is known as an entrance gate to India.

The aura of Taj itself is commendable.Cannot be measured in terms of ambiance or food or staff,it is a brand /class apart.Just love the way how it feels there .Would keep visiting again and again

It's very costly but it is a very lovely and fantastic place.

Taj is as we say one of the pride of India , it is truly a pride . Once you go there you are treated so warmly and kind heartedly that you forget everything. Very highly recommended . Yes it's a bit pricy but worth every penny .

What a Cleanliness of this place. This hotel is at walking distance from gate way of india and beside of taj tower. Even after 26/11 terror attack on this hotel now we can lot of people are using it to stay here ..easily accessible from church gate railway station and too closer from CSMT. Lot of taxi available from csmt to hotel taj.

I loved it but still, something is missing being part of an iconic history...and what is missing ...i can feel but cannot articulate here....I think an old charm has faded away...

Went to celebrate my wife's promotion. We had dinner at Shamiana. The very reason to celebrate at this place was to experience sheer luxury. Taj Mahal Palace is epitome of luxury.

The visit makes you feel royal. Once you enter everything seems to be picture perfect, fall in love even more with this place each time you visit. Recommend everyone who's not been there yet.

The place is world famous among the tourists and foreign guests. Ultimate mix of luxury, heritage, beautiful architecture, ambience last but not the least delicious food.

We love the service, the rooms, the breakfast, the tea party, the pool, the architecture. It was like an adult being in Disney land. We had a fabulous stay great housekeeping, great 24h butler service. Big thanks to meghana at the front desk for fullfilling all our extra requests and also big thanks to Tusar and his team (housekeeping) for always giving us another surprise when we got back to the room. The bath, the sweets and the cute flower decoration. Thank you for making us feel like little kings. My top favorite hotel in the world.

It is a aristocrat heritage 5 star hotel is magnificent embeded in history in the lovation of Colaba, Mumbai. The iconic Taj opposite of the Gateway of India. The room is large and fashionable with impeccable and customer focused service with all amenities.

I was here for one event and this place is having very amazing vibes I cannot Express it ....

Went there in the vicinity with friends who wanted to see Gateway of India. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and the facade is hardly visible with all the construction work. However, inside, the hotel is as elegant as ever. Went to the cafe and had an enjoyable and sumptuous Indian meal. The staff was very friendly and one of them took us through the rather tragic terrorist attack at the property many years back. Food was excellent, setting was wonderful and it was the 'Taj' elegance all the way. Strolled around and took a few pictures. Pricey, but highly recommended.

I suggest google to give that facility where users can also give their stars n review to individual areas... Neverthless coming to my trip...we were on two days trip here..It can't explained in words that how was our stay..No pharases i have now..But one word substitution that : "A feeling of Heaven" ..Really enjoyed a lot...its worthwhile ...A dream comes true stay ..U will fabergast with ur own experience ...Well maintained staffs ...World class ettiqites, manners ...At last Book a room here once ( if ur Trip is in mumbai) and u will than me later...

Class all over! I will sum this review up by mentioning a foreigner's comment, "This is the best building (hotel) I've entered in."

Here my issue. Let s start with sanitary issues. Room service clean rooms with bear hand. Take trash out, clean bathroom, make bed, clean carpet, dust furniture. It s should use gloves to take out trash and clean bathrooms. And dispose that gloves. Get clean gloves before putting fruits on tables and handling and bed sheets, comforter, towels, etc. Five star hotel Should have health and safety of their guest number one priority. You should never disturb guest by doing construction after 9pm. I know time to time hotels need maintenance customer don t pay you $400+ a night to be disturb from noice I count not able to sleep until 4:00am when they stop marking noises. Complain to front desk they say someone will get back to Me. Nothing happened. I am not in hotels business but good business man know what to do for my customer. Don t get me wrong staff is vey friendly but after seeing their sanitary procedures I don t if I feel comfortable to eat or sleep in this hotel supposed to be one the best hotels in Bombay. Management and staff need to be trained in customer service and keeping their guest safe. <br/>May be it s too much to ask in India. I stayed in room 262 in place side Mr. Patel on 4/10/2018.

Wow what a place. The lobby and the flower arrangement in the lobby is out of the world. Very busy place. If you just walk in without table booking, it's almost impossible to get entry into any restaurant here. It is recommended to have your table booked well in advance. The indian restaurant is lovely although little more on price but the quality and service is out of the world

This is such a beautiful hotel. Feels like i entered a palace and everyone is so polite and helpful. Gone there for a stay and those 2 days were the best.

It was a great experience. The welcome was really refreshing we had come from so long but as the way they welcome to use we didn t feel tired.withinh few second they completed check in formalities and also provided early check in to us that is the best thing.we enter the room and the fragrance was really Refreshing . Room was decorated very beautifully. Every corner was clean and bathroom was hygiene.breakfast is also really yummy everything was really good. Staff is really friendly and polite they all also the manager are very co operative. Overall all it s best experience of life time staying in taj we will again and again and again come to the taj.

Its a wort taking experience to be here. Heritage building and the new tower both have its own charm. Great views of the gate way of India from its window will surely amaze you in early morning.
