Five stars of excellence. My wife and I came here as part of our honeymoon package and we will never forget our time here. They upgraded us to a huge suite as a honeymoon gift and we were treated like royalty. Our butler Ravi was so perfect in his service. Not too much and not too little, just perfect. We will forever be grateful for the excellent hospitality and service. We were very very sad to leave but one day we shall return.

The original five star hotel as far as i am concerned. Absolutely fantastic ambience, brilliant food, courteous and friendly staff.
A nice book store and really nice restaurants.
It was a place we used to frequent as children when we would be taken there by an indulgent uncle.
It was victim of a vicious terrorist attack a few years ago and many people were killed in cold blood.
The energy there after the attack felt full of fear and very heavy for a long time... Though after our last visit there it feels like old times again.
This hotel is special and holds many memories for me. A place to go to again and again and again...

My favourite place since the college days when we used to dust our pocket money out just have a coffee...went there after a long time...sadly wasnt impressed...

The hotel with the best view in Mumbai. Its got amazing view of the gateway of india as well as the ocean front. Got few nice restaurants and brand shops. As a flagship Taj hotel, it's maintained well. Guess this is the most crowded Taj i have ever been. There is always people coming in and out all the time. It might be just mumbai effect.

Honestly, I have never been inside the hotel. It's the signature building of Mumbai. Posses historical value, witnessed attacks and all, but stood tall in difficult times.

The best possible location for any hotel, hotspots of tourists are all around the area as it also contains the gateway of India, the hotel is very grand. The service,the food excellent, you can easily locate this particular hotel it is located in Churchgate railway station by the sea.

Small and nice banquet hall. Good service. Average intirior. So many celebrities are there. Staff is also good. Amazing experience.

The place is royal as one would expect. The tea was good as well. But what is with one cup? are you short of cups or you just money hungry. This is very bad. They wont give you an extra cup. TAJ hotel is not Tata's cup of tea.

How can I give this anything less than five stars to this property? The devil is in the details and these guys Excel at details. Everything about this place tells of royalty, style and elegance. Keep away from the food though. It'll burn a hole on your pocket.

We booked tower for one day for our son's 3rd birthday, luckily we got upgraded to palace , the service was outstanding , food was amazing , loved the stay

The best place.
Ambiance is very good. A bit costly but one of the most recognized hotel of India with well adapted culture and hospitality. The staff members are very good and the taste of it's all the out sourcing restaurant is good. And I would personally recommend that one should try this hotel beforing dieing and should feel the aura of Taj here.

Wasn't as good as I was expecting According to a heritage location! Staffs too weren't like a professional or experienced, they didn't even knew how to serve food properly. By the way, food was brilliant. Overall exterior was ok but interior not upto the mark. Hope to be there again, just for food aspect.

I was unable the facilities which are there in the Taj Mahal Taj Mahal Palace so I said that the Taj Mahal Palace the people who were working the Taj Mahal Palace greeted me in a nice way so I stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace for today's and experience was really nice there.....

Once had a cup of tea in Feb, 1991 & the taste still lingers in my tongue . Too beautiful ( though it is nothing in front of the actual Taj) to describe .

Have not experienced better hospitality than this place. Be prepared to be pampered in extremes

The staff's attention is second to none. The establishment sets itself a very high standard and routinely exceeds it.

A nice place to stay and affordable too. We stayed here for just $4500. I think its about 300,000 indian rupee. The food was awesome. We were eating non stop. Room service ok. The architecture is amazing. Looking forward to host my sister s marriage here.
I would recommed everyone to stay in Taj if you are coming to India. My dad had some meetings in Bangaluru, but we chose Taj, because of the quality of service.

Small snack menu at the sea lounge but a fantastic view. Sadly only two seaters get the window tables but even from behind it's a lovely view.
