My Family wanted to enjoy our stay here. We really did.However, the hotel was a Disappointment from the Moment we arrived.My Parents and Myself Arpan Ghosh booked Room Number 308 at Taj Mumbai on Date 4th-6th January 2020 we are Subscribed for Inner Circle Club Membership Pertaining to the fact that Services should be Impeccable, but Encountered Rude Attitude.
On Checking Inn no Initiative was made to Enquire for our Purpose of Walking Inside the Hotel Lobby,Even Luggage had to be Manually Unloaded from the Car booked from Hotel When contacting the Reception Desk the Representative showed very Casualness on Serving us and I personally had to Request Hotel Staff to show Leniency as my Parents are Aged,I was assured for Room within a Couple of Minutes however had to wait for Half an hour in the Lobby.On Reaching the Hotel Room the 1 out of 2 Bathrobe Contained Hair Strand The Staff changed the Bathrobe Unapologetically.
The Next Day A Short Tour was Planned in and Around Mumbai and When Approached to the Reception Staff Mohammed was Supposed to Arrange for the same However slightest Effort that was shown by him was to Give Hand Direction for the Cab parked outside the Hotel.We had Requested for the Hotel Car On Enquiring it was Communicated All The Cars from the Hotel was on their way for Airport Pickup even though we Observed 2 Tata Hexa and Jaguar was Inside the Premises.My parents Accompanied by me stood at the Scrothching Heat Outside the Hotel Utterly Confused that which Cab to Actually board even the Staff Stationed outside the Hotel Premises never bothered to help us.At Night we had Booked a Dining Reservation at the Golden Dragon the Waiter Serving us was giving the Impression of Disgust,and when I asked for Water Refill Purposefully an Attempt was made and water was spilled on my Hand.After Dinner My Family and I followed the Direction inside the Tower Premises which Lead to the Main Taj Mahal Palace Hotel Staircase on Clicking a Selfy Inside the Staff used utterly Disgusted Language Infront of My Parents i.e "Delete the Picture Right Now Infront of Me"such were the Adjectives used.It is Imperative that you Understand it is Your Failure to Comply with your Impeccable Service Inspite of Subscribing us as an Inner Circle Club Member.In Short I am Compelled to Inform you that I will no Longer be Requiring any Services offered by Taj be it Mumbai or Elsewhere.
Thus it is Clear that the Hotel does not Cater to the Hospitality of Outsiders and Treat them with Disgust and do not Rescind from using any Adjectives that they Please and Speak their Free Will.From Security Guards to Lift Operator,General Duty Staffs Reception Staffs treats Outsiders giving the Impression of Favor done to Guest by letting them stay at the Hotel However they are not Informed that Guests Checking Inn with them are far more Privileged than their Understanding,and any Review Questioning their Services is Answered with Bureaucratic Red Tape Answers.
