One of the best hotel in Abu Dhabi without doubt! Extremely clean, excellent service, smiley and helpful staff. The only problem at the moment construction going on close to the hotel only disturbing the view from balcony. And mosquitoes!!!! Ahhh it was a disaster this time of the year. Other than that piece of heaven! If you want a relaxing weekend definitely would highly recommend it. You ll forget about all the stress going on in your life. Just put your phone airplane mode and enjoy! ;) They have one of the comfiest bed ever!!! You feel like sleeping on clouds...
Definitely will be back! Thanks for the relaxing anniversary weekend, room upgrade and cute decorations for our room and private dinner! :)

I m a thorough believer in the idea that what makes a 5 star hotel/resort is not the absence of mistakes but how staff and management responds to any slip ups.

When I booked, I was told that complimentary breakfast was included along with a promotional offer of 200 AED per day. However, at check in, the staff member said that I could only receive one of the offers.

After already waiting 20 minutes to be checked in (Due to extra COVID-19 precautionary measures), I didn t feel like arguing and relented as my family and young child were waiting for me.

Then came Sarita, the staff member who took it upon herself to escort us to the room. Noticing that I was slightly flustered from the check in process, she inquired if everything was OK and was very intent on cheering us up however possible. She went above and beyond to make sure our trip was better than the first impression from check in.

I later spoke with the manager of the hotel who not only availed the complimentary breakfast but also informed us that our room type allowed for private dining to deliver breakfast to us daily at no additional charge. She also allowed complimentary breakfast for our nanny!

Besides that initial hiccup, every thing was top notch and smooth sailing for the remaining of our stay. Dinner at Sontaya, one of the resort s restaurants was amazing! All staff greeted us every time we walked around the hotel.

At the pool, the facilities on site were also immaculate and pool cabanas were complimentary. The pool was sanitized and scrubbed every morning. Complimentary ice water and concessions were provided daily. The beach was in pristine condition.

We loved it so much that we added on another night! Although the centralized booking number for Marriott had to charge us the market rate which was high because of Eid holiday, the management agreed to match our pre-booked rate.

The resort went above and beyond to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary with chocolate and fruit upon arrival and a tasty slice of cake on the day of our anniversary.

Hands down, St. Regis Saadiyat is the best resort I ve stayed at in my nine years in Abu Dhabi. I felt like I was in another country which was a great respite since my family wasn t comfortable traveling due to COVID-19.

We will definitely be back soon!

Great service and great resort, the staff are beyond nice and professional, and I can say the best part was the time on the pool, the pool bar manager is beyond amazing, Great service, fantastic attitude, and his enthusiasm toward providing the best service is unreal, I will definitely come back... we tried many hotels on Saadiyat beach and I can say St Regis was the best, food, views ( u can see the beach from any place in the hotel, whether while having ur breakfast, having a drink on the terrace or even checking in the hotel) and service .... oh and we were so luck so see one of the hugest sea turtle we ever saw.. that was a great experience

Very nice hotel with very attentive staff, they all try to fulfill your wishes without being intrusive. The food is just great (for my taste), there is a varied selection so everyone should really find something. Very great cooks, on the Italian evening there was e.g. Tiramisu for dessert and it tasted like Italian. We will be back definitely !

The property is gorgeous, and the room was lovely. Our view was amazing. Very comfy bed. The breakfast was also excellent. However, we had nothing but problems with our air conditioner. Engineering had to come up to our room at midnight to fix it, and it shut itself off again in the morning. Made for a frustrating and uncomfortable stay, instead of the relaxing night we expected.

Pompous but not able. Trainees throw the shop. Instead of the sea, we look at the opposite hotel wing and a huge construction site, which fortunately is also operated at night. The water is murky near the beach and you move between sandy ground and concrete remains. The only really good staff was the black young man to greet you at the entrance. Expensive food in the Buddhabar good quality. The accommodation price for the individual traveler not consistent.

The amazing Butler team exceeded our expectations again with gorgeous room arrangements for the special occasions we celebrated and made us feel treated like a king and queen.
Definitely our preferred resort in Middle East and the place we are looking forward to come back every year.

Our stay at St. Regis Saadiyat was a complete disappointment !
We didn t get the chance to travel this summer due to the pandemic restrictions, so I decided to take 3 days off to go for a staycation with my family and opted to try St. Regis Hotel in Saadiyat Abu Dhabi .
The bad experience started immediately after checking in , we reached our suite (Room 648) , the kids started unpacking , that s when I opened the fridge to see a plastic container having food leftovers from the previous guest!!! I was shocked , this has never happened to me in my entire life ! Not even at 4 or 3 stars hotels ! I called the butler service and requested them to clean the fridge , they sent a female helper that removed the container and presumably cleaned the fridge . When she left , I came back to the room to find that the fridge s inside was still dirty showing residues of dry food on the sides as if it had never been cleaned for ages. Called the butler service again and requested them to clean properly , this time with me standing next to them to make sure it is done ! If you think this was over then you are mistaken ..., on the last day of our stay I grabbed a cup to make myself an espresso and guess what ! The cup had traces of dry coffee drops which shows that it hasn t been cleaned well neither wiped properly ! Again I called the butler service and showed them the dirty cup !!
I find this negligence an extremely serious issue especially during a pandemic ! With such an experience, how can we ever make sure that the bed sheets, mattresses , switched, handles etc are well cleaned and sanitized ??
The worst of all , since our check-in incident until the check-out not a single manager bothered to talk to us or even apologize for such an inconvenience and the possibility of exposing guests to the danger of contracting the virus . Wouldn t recommend this hotel to any guest , especially during the pandemic . What a disappointment!

Basically a good Hotel but some things are absolutely unacceptable.
The food in the main restaurant is good, but nearly the same each day. As we travelled with a little child, it made no sense to use the other restaurants.
After 3 days we had to move to another room at 9pm in the evening when our little child should go asleep because of a terrible smell of thinner coming out of the air conditioning. We got the offer of moving to another room quickly after they checked out room but basically I don't expect such a problem in a St. Regis.
The other problem that has nearly ruined our whole holiday has been a letter we found in our room a day when we returned from a day long trip with our rented car. In the letter they told us that we (and most of the other guests) have to leave the hotel at the next day because they have to host a high level official delegation and government event. (picture of the letter is attached)
As this was absolutely unacceptable for me I had much discussions with the manager. At the end we were allowed to stay...
For me it is clear that I will never return here and I will never advise this hotel to my friends as this is an accommodation where they simply chuck out their guests if there are any guests that are more important.
So you can't be sure to stay there even if you have confirmation or you are already checked in.
For a holiday absolutely not advisable.

The rooms are spacious, I stayed here multiple times for business and for holiday, the kids are rewarded by a special pool with some water games and also a kids center... and my other highlight is the location of this resort. This is one of my favorite beaches, it is open as you can walk the whole beach even out of the resort premises... St. Regis is part of SPG, which I haven t seen any noticeable benefits when staying many times and becoming a gold member. You get very basic only like a fruit basket or an enhanced WiFi!

What a great place for a family weekend get away. Beautiful rooms, efficient staff, great selection of food, kids club and only 10 mins away from Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Buddha Bar is currently under renovations so might be better to go when this is ready.

Really great place to relax. Great hotel with overwhelming service. About 15 min by taxi to downtown. Different pools, even an adult one. Shops and restaurants in the area outside the hotel.

One of the best resorts and staycation experiences! We were upgraded to an enormous 1 bedroom suite and our friends were upgraded to a premium sea view room. Plenty of amenities and loads of complimentary water only begin to describe the features of the room. Large tub, standing showers, fully equipped business desk, it goes on and on

For the children the kids club has enough to keep them occupied for at least 3-4 hours at a stretch. Everything from a climbing slide, to water slides, to art and craft to play station, ping pong, a toy room and face painting is here.

Room service was slow and the food was not done as per the other on two incidents - both of which the hotel accepted their error and didn't charge us. Having said that the menu is great (be warned: pricey!) And the breakfast is outstanding, with three cuisines and a whole lot of live cooking!

St. Regis Saadiyat Abu Dhabi is a perfect destination for your staycation or weekender getaway. We went there for two consecutive weekends. The first time was when we had a brunch with Buddha Bar. We felt that the ambience was oozing with relaxing vibes and not to mention that the food/brunch in Buddha Bar was exceptionally excellent with the value we paid and amount plus quality of food we took. And so we decided to come back after and stay for our off days from work. We had an amazing stay- pampered, luxurious, tranquil and clean. And I would like to special mention Anthony Guiron who is very efficient, reliable and accommodating with all our needs. He has an outstanding customer service. I think St. Regis Saadiyat's hotel staff were all trained properly even by going the extra mile to be in service with their hotel guest. We met another butler who welcomed us and facilitated us to our room, I think her name is Ernilyn-if Im not mistaken, she too is very pleasant. After we left St. Regis, truth be told me and my husband promised to come back because we had a great experience and an awesome sleep with their superb bed mattress. Thank you for our perfect stay and lovely views!

Oh so marvelous. Just looking at it, on our way there, I knew it was going to b a very pleasant experience. The gorgeous aesthetics, world class infrastructure and such helpful staff, all scream 5star. The restaurant to d is exquisite. We came on somewhat short notice but they were nice enough to squeeze us in and make it all very comfortable until the time we left. Bravo!

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days with friends and family. The Cleaning and pool staff was very nice. Food was good. We especially liked the e-butler service. You could ask for reservations and help through WhatsApp 24hours a day.

Unfortunately there was a congress held during our stay and there was lots of security running around and it made the 3 days very unpleasant.

We where also disappointed by the management.
At arrival we asked for late check out, because our flight was in the middle of the night. They told us they can offer us until 6pm complementary. Which is very generous in general.
However on day of check out they called us at 6.10pm and asked when we will be checking out, with a baby everything took a bit longer and we where out by 6.40pm. As we came to the lobby little stressed out because the baby wasn t feeling well, they told us we now had to pay 50% of the room rate. After 7 days spending lots of money in the hotel, we find this very disappointing!
The manager wasn t a available and the manger on duty didn t know what to do. After all we received an email that this is hotel policy and they will not refund the money!

It made us very angry at the end of our stay and will not recommend the hotel to friends and family again. Next year we will not come back to the hotel.
