We had our wedding night here. This hotel will always have a special place in our hearts
My daughter and I were overnight guests, and stayed in a king suite on the 14th floor. The vallet, bellhops, and front desk attendants were friendly, patient, and attentive. I received a text message upon arrival from my own personal concierge. The room was clean, mini bar fully stocked, and the view was nice as well. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
Always enjoy staying at The Roosevelt. Lobby is beautiful at this time of year. Service is always top notch!
Went to the Sazerac bar for the namesake beverage and it did not disappoint, always great. Had Domenica for the first time and it was great.
GORGEOUS interiors with world class. Staff is very friendly and accommodating
Worst service ever! Except for the door man he was so nice.. The receptionist guy didnt bother to check the connected room and told us to wait until the other day! He lied and said that 2 suites connect to each other so we had to pay extra if we wanted. the second day we asked the lady at the reception about the room and she said it was available and gave it to us without paying anything..the room service took about an hour for every order even when it was for just boiling water!
Service was great the bartenders were great! The bartenders were very comfortable, friendly, and professional. The drinks were excellent and the history behind the drinks by Rebecca was great entertainment!!.
This place is fantastic. The Christmas lights in the lobby truly are magical. Protip, go early around 0630 and Noone will be in the way of a great photo op. It can get crowded
They have the original Sazerac but it's $18 and not that great. The gin fizz is pretty unique and the art deco atmosphere is fun. Definitely an older scene (50s and above).
Beautiful bar, we were there for christmas and the decorations were amazing. Drinks are very pricey, though.
Exceptional experience! From the impressive golden hall, to the attentive service, the big rooms, the swimming pool on the roof right it front of the last level of the nearby church, the live music, everything was great. A bit pricey and old fashioned but worth staying in the meeting hotel at least once! We stayed for our honeymoon and got an awesome surprise present.
The Christmas Decorations are stunning. The bar was exceptional.
The Sazerac Bar is a must see, must try experience in New Orleans. The Ramos Gin Fizz is extraordinary and the titular Sazerac lives up to it's legendary reputation.
I couldn't have enjoyed my stay here any more than I did. Located just across Canal street from the French Quarter, the hotel gives easy access to everything I love about New Orleans -- it was walking distance to Frenchman street, right off the streetcar line to the garden district, and easy walking to the best restaurants in the warehouse district.
The hotel itself has clean spacious well appointed rooms, the bed is extremely comfortable. I loved the rooftop pool with outdoor bar and views of the very cool church next door. But you stay at the Roosevelt for its history. The missing Huey Long safe, the sazerac bar (where the ramos gin fizz is a thing of beauty) and the countless jazz musicians who played in the basement.
There may be more modern hotels in New Orleans, but who needs 'em.
Fantastic Hotel. Great Location. Friendly staff, Grand Lobby, Fresh Flowers, Great 3 point Showers in the Bedroom, RoofTop Pool, Amazing Service, Tasty Coffee, Good Quality Gift Shop. Downside the Valet / Bell Boys watched my Mum and Aunt Struggle with Luggage to load into the car.
Very well appointed rooms, comfortable mattress, great staff, good gym. Great location in down town.
Beautiful hotel with great cocktail lounge. The rooms are nice, but not awesome, and the pool deck is just okay.
one of the greatest lobbies in town.. god eatin, nice bathrooms, a rooftop
An incredibly beautiful facility and even more so when decorated for Christmas. We sat in the bar and enjoyed cocktails while a really good musician serenaded the crowd with piano Christmas songs. Delightful.
This plc is beautiful and close to burbon st more than wht I expected
We stopped in for a drink at the Sazerak and were very impressed with he service, drinks, and atmosphere.
Very clean. Nice staff. Best place for the holidays!
What a beautiful hotel. WOW. Great food and drinks. Would like to go back !!!
It's New Orleans. Nothing is quite as nice as you'd think. This hotel is not an exception.
Do not miss Carl s Fried Chicken on a Monday evening!!! It is the best in town!!! One of the best kept secrets but it does not need to be a secret ahh more!!!
The staff took care of all our needs. We ordered room service a couple of ti.es and the food was hot and tasty. They even provided us with umbrellas when it was raining and we were going after food. The hotel has several restaurants on site and each has it's own unique style.
Visited the Sazerac Bar. Eric made us excellent drinks, and with flair. No food options at the Sazerac, but drinks are served with complimentary bar snacks. I'm never disappointed with the bar staff's service, and will be back for a visit if I find myself in New Orleans again.
Always a fantastic place to stay or visit. The Christmas decorations are always a must to go see. Everything about this hotel is well done. I like the location for being a touch away from the french quarter as it is much quieter and just a short walk to anything even with being on the other side of Canal St. Worth the price to stay at this great place.
I did not stay here. I have been here twice before to go to the bar. I love this hotel so much. It's beautiful inside and out. I hope to get a stay in one day soon.
Beautifully decorated lobby. It's so elegant and classy. It's located on my favorite New Orleans street, Royal. I enjoy there area a lot. I will update my review when I get to actually stay here.
Jonah and Erick... Love them... And my Ramos Gin Fizz
Right in the CBD. If you want to stay somewhere nice that has beautiful architecture, art and a clock that is amazing. Great service and the rooms are plush and comfortable. Everything you want to see in downtown New Orleans you can access from this place very easily
Somebody didn't flush. Wasn't me. I told everybody that.
I struggled with not giving a 5 star because overall everything was simply amazing. Two issues stopped me from giving a perfect rating and the more I think about it only one ruined it for me. We had an issue with our tub not properly draining while taking a shower but that again was minor. The real issue was during check out a few minutes ago. Kevin at the Concierge desk was sarcastic and rude with me. I found his remarks to be very condescending. After the remarks he directed us over to the receptionist who s name was Erica. She represented The Roosevelt well. Will Kevin sarcasm stop me from coming back? No I don t think it will, however, this needed to be told. Being a business owner myself I want and need to hear what stops my business from being the best in the public eye.
The Roosevelt is a very distinguished hotel. The Sazerac bar makes awesome drinks and has an old world lounge feel.
I wish I could give 0 star to this hotel. Worst service ever for the valet service. The girl at register was talking as if she was working at some low grade place. We paid $2000 for 2 nights and this service we get in return. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.
Loved it !!! Was there for Essence Festival 2017 it was very nice. They give you slipper , the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. TV in bathroom didn't work neither did make up mirror, but it was no big deal.
World class service is on display at this Hilton property. The only complaint I have is the lack of available USB ports or outlets that can be used for chargers.
This hotel is a step back into a glamorous time. Grand lobby and nicely appropriated rooms. Delicious restaurants on site and very accommodating staff! The spa is very clean and calming. Great people watching too!
What an awesome place my favorite Hotel in New Orleans
Excellent spa. My massage therapist was professional and catered to my needs.
Beautiful historic hotel, clean tons and attentive staff.
This is a great example of a nice older New Orleans hotel that exhibits the history and style of all New Orleans but freshly renovated and beautiful during Christmas time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Christmas lights were gorgeous & the rooms were as expected for the price
Absolutely amazing. Beautiful building and guest rooms
Beautiful place, but not sure it is worth the money. I have stayed at similar places for lower rates. Watch for pick pocket professionals in the French Quarter. My phone and atm card were stolen.
The lobby bar has amazing cocktails. The 4th floor rooftop pool is nice but can get crowded.
I stay here whenever I m in town. Clean spacious rooms and friendly people.
Great atmosphere, but tough to get a drink due to the extreme care taken by the mixologists. That's a double edged sword, as the drinks looked good. Otherwise, very nice place and cool layout.
Wonderful drinks. Great atmosphere St the sazerac bar. Would go again!
My favorite, albeit more expensive, classic Nola hotel.
An historical building. Beautiful building but as a 5 hotel has a lot to do, specifically in customer service.
I loved this hotel!! We had such a pleasant stay. Every staff member we encountered was extremely nice and went out of their way for us. The room was very spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was huge (for a hotel) and also had a shelving unit that made it so much easier to keep all my toiletries together and not have it on the vanity/sink area. If we go back I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was very elegant and I recommend it.
Nice high class hotel. Great staff that takes excellent care of you.
This is a magical place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Christmas decorations are outstanding.
Hotel was beautiful and the holiday decorations were exquisite. We had a couple cocktails at the Sazerac bar.
We love the Christmas decorations here. Had the Sazerac drink, definitely an acquired taste.
The hotel bars/restaurants are excellent. Service is great, and the Christmas decorations are second to none. We stayed in a suite which was fantastic.
