I go there often. It's a beautiful, fancy place. Took a friend to the Sazerac bar. It was late at night. Everything was great, as usual, except the Sazerac i ordered was not a real Sazerac. I felt a little embarrassed.

Visiting The Roosevelt during Christmas was a sight to see. The hotel was elegantly decorated from bottom to top. The staff was friendly and accommodating, although only one entrance was handicap accessible, the opposite side of the valet parking. Over all wonderful experience.

Our experience at the Roosevelt Thanksgiving Brunch was fantastic! From the moment we were greeted by the smiling hostesses, until we had taken our last scrumptious bite of dessert, we were treated like royalty! Our waiter, Kevin, along with his assistant Robyn, saw that our every need was attended to. The food was 5 star. The music was perfect for the occasion. It was clear that all in attendance were also having a great time. We highly recommend the brunch at the Roosevelt Hotel!

It's okay is the perfect description for this hotel. Listed as 5 stars but falls short of that. First the room had limited places to plug your stuff, second the refrigerator was very small, and lastly the level of noise coming in to the room made sleeping difficult. You are right on the street and you will hear sirens and traffic. Came in late and missed the restaurant, no simple food's at the front desk. Hotel is very beautiful and majestic, but I rather have a good night's rest and some food.

What was supposed to have been a special Christmas...

What was supposed to have been a special Christmas treat for my family and I turned out to be a big disappointment. We checked in on Christmas Eve, so the hotel was understandably busy, but even so, there were only 2-3 receptionists, forcing everyone to wait a long time to check in. Once our suite was finally ready, we discovered it was only set up for 2 people even though I had booked it for 4 a couple months in advance. Three and a half hours later, after 2 calls and a visit to the front desk, we finally got the extra linens. Also, I had booked a luxury suite, which was advertised online as having a small dining area, but there was none. When I asked the receptionist about this, she said I should have requested a suite with a dining area in advance. Why would I, if it was advertised as standard with this type of room? I'm still not sure what the difference is between our assigned suite and a regular king suite, which would have cost less. Finally, when you book a suite you're supposed to have access to a "personal concierge" which would've been nice...had ours not been on vacation for most of our stay. The hotel location is very convenient to the French Quarter and the decorations in the lobby were beautiful, but our stay was unfortunately a far cry from the usual high Waldorf standard. Oh, and when I discussed these issues with the receptionist when checking out, she said a supervisor would give me a call. Two days later I'm still waiting...

My experience here was atrocious and put a damper on an otherwise amazing trip. I m very surprised that a hotel as nice as a Waldorf would charge an incidental fee. We paid this and expected to be refunded. At time of checkout we come to find they had charged us with an additional indcidental fee because we had been drinking in the bar the previous day and charged it to the room, thus causing us to go over our incidentals. We never drank in the bar. We asked the hotel staff to see the reciepts which they could not provide. On top of this they told us the person who checked us in gave us the wrong total for our room upgrade, so again we were socked with an additional 300$ at checkout. They were kind enough to refund the original incidental fee and additional charge, and the funds came right back to me. The next day they ran the charges through again to my card! (I m not even there anymore!) When I call they say there s nothing they can do because I ve checked out, finance department at their hotel doesn t answer. I ve called my bank now to dispute the charges. Horrible customer service and a ton of hidden fees at this hotel. Go elsewhere!

We had the absolute best experience here. Clean and fancy room with extras. We dined in the Fountain Lounge and no doubt had some of the best food of our lives. We got brussel sprouts and the burger and it was (see below) phenomenal! Would go back just for the restaurant... no problems and friendly staff all around. Less than 10 min walk to action on Bourbon st

This place was very crowded and fun last night ! Our Bartender Sasha was so much fun and friendly. Pronounced Sash ( like a sash across your chest ) and then add an A . Her favorite drink to make is a Gin Fizz .

While searching for the UPS store located inside the hotel, the staff was incredibly helpful and let us know exactly how to find their business center, which was run by UPS. The staff in the business center were nothing but outstanding and quickly helped us ship the items we needed without any issues.

The walk-through lobby, Christmas lights are an absolute must see during the holiday season. Life size chess by the Cabana bar at their rooftop pool. Prices lower than competitors in the same neighborhood.... No need to say more

We spent 3 wonderful days/nights at The Roosevelt. The staff was very friendly and warm. The concierge was very knowledgable and helped us plan some tours and made great dining suggestions. We enjoyed the 4th floor outdoor heated pool and hot tub several times during our stay. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Historic, fascinating and simply wonderful. The Roosevelt exudes a charm which is unmatched by others and makes you fall in love with it. The Roosevelt is like the heart of New Orleans and just like the city is inviting and loving. Even if you're not staying there stop by for a drink at the Sazerac and raise a toast to the history of cocktails!
Only drawback is the fitness center, which is quite below par for a Waldorf hotel.
