Wonderful gardens and interesting arts, but a bit expensive.

A day trip here is a beautiful way to spend your time. The house is amazing and once you enter the gardens from the back of the house it's like the gardens open up and the views of the mountains as a backdrop are breathtaking. I find it so relaxing to wander around and enjoy the grounds.
The Japanese garden, pet cemetery, the lake and the walk through the trees are a beautiful way to spend some time reconnecting with yourself and enjoying the amazing scenery.

Beautiful location, very pleasant helpful staff. Grounds and house well worth a visit. Also they are opening their own Distillery soon. Will have to revisit then to take that tour!!

It's a fantastic day out, but especially in the walled garden there are too many weeds growing.

A great place to walk

We just went to the little toy museum. We were hoping to get some lunch too. But the Avoca cafe is extortionate! 8 for a sandwich.

Suprisingly, even my toddler loved it here, despite there not being any "toddler stuff". The wide open spaces, fountains, castle turrets, flowers, and horses we spied that sealed her love. My husband and I make sure we come every time we come to Ireland. It's not far out of Dublin, great walking grounds, great for enjoying tea and cake. It's a beautiful outing, and we recommend spending at least 3 hours there, no less!

Absolute delight on a great sunny day, amazing picnic spot. Very scenic and serene place.

Gets a bit swamped in the summer with coach tours but once you're out in the gardens its a bit better. Lovely place though, stunning gardens. Be naughty and roll down the terraces! Great fun!

Lovely gardens and building architecture, visit is must recommended for tourists, to enjoy the best you need to spend 5-6 hours there on a warm and sunny day. Ticket is little expensive though.

We went during the summertime and had an absolute blast the gardens were fabulous and the greenery just breathtaking.

Loved the distillery - I've been to a lot if them and this is tops. Distillery dining rooms are superb.

Truly a beautiful park full of flowers and plants with different settings

Astonishing gardens. Be prepared to spend a long time exploring here. Not disability friendly unfortunately as there are sets of steps all the way down into the gardens. Perhaps there are other ways to enjoy but the view is amazing so those with disabilities can sit and have a beverage overlooking and taking the view in.

just come back from Powercourt went with my daughter and son in law to bring my new grandson to santa it was fabulous and the coffee shop is so comfortable everyone should visit

The gardens here are so peaceful! I laid on the grass in one of the walled gardens and dang near fell asleep it was so comfy. So beautiful. Can't wait to return some day.

Playing with the kids in the Japanese garden was good old fashioned fun

The gardens are simply beautiful to visit any time of the year, we love the variety of trees, the Japanese gardens and the stunning views from the house over the lake and the landscape beyond simply stunning.

The gardens are just beautiful and the walk around them is very pleasant. Would 100% recommend going there. One world of warning if you are having lunch and intend to have it outside, at certain times of year if you are having something sweet will then the wasps will get very friendly. Just pick up some marmalade and let them at it, otherwise they will look lovingly at Your food!

Magnificent place a great tribute to all involved.
Unfortunately I get the feeling the cafe and restaurant staff are under the impression they are to good for the job they do and are marking time till something better falls out of the sky. Their indifference borders on contempt and I would be a regular visitor in the course of my business.

Very nice place of greenery. When the weather is nice it must be really nice. The price 10 / person and special rate for seniors. You can go there by bus 44 from O'Connel Street it takes about 40 minutes

A historic building with beautiful gardens.
There are many classic attractions in the garden, there are Japanese gardens, small lakes, botanical gardens, beautiful fountains and elegant statues.
All the flowers and plants are carefully taken care of, the turf is green and flat, the flowers are bright and beautiful, the fountain is still sprayed with water, and there are many kinds of trees, tall and towering.

The service staff is very careful to explain, provide professional introductions, and plan for our future journey.
Although it is far from the city, it is worth returning.
