Great Lily pads. Went here with my friend. He is from the UK (currently EU members but will leave soon). We were in sure need to see some quality Lily pads. We were not disappointed. The size and amount of specimens certainly quenched our thirst for Lily pads.

If you are someone who LOVES gardens and gardening, Powercourt Gardens is a must. The pictures will not do true justice of the majestic scenery of the gardens. I enjoyed how the layout of the gardens tell a story of the past.

A very nice place that can be reached by bus from Dublin.
We traveled to Ireland in February to hear about recommendations from residents in Dublin about this place, and then we went there the next day.
Although it takes a wide walkway on itself, but it's worth it and I could imagine that in the summer it will look even more beautiful!

Beautiful property, nice cafe, parking spaces after a drive through beautiful streets with trees, large garden to linger. A must for a trip to Ireland, easily linked to the Wicklow Mountains. You can then follow the signs to Torc Waterfalls and you will come to the highest waterfalls in Ireland.

Absolutely beautiful and well kept! Our favourite was the Japanese gardens! Really gorgeous for family photos. When going in, don't forget to stop and look at the gorgeous horses, they're so friendly and love carrots

Absolutely beautiful gardens and grounds! Standing at the lake looking back at the estates is a scene that feels like it's right out of the movies. Be sure to check out the cozy natural grotto just before the entrance to the Japanese gardens. And kids will love following the water paths flowing from the lake into the Japanese Gardens.

Place is very clean and maintained in to the highest standards.
Lovely to spend a day with family and friends.
Huge varieties of spices and wonderful view at every corner of the garden.
Japanese Garden , Italian and wall garden were all good..!!
Large fountain was an eye catcher for kids.

Only thing needs attention is food price , where its not so affordable especially when you are with a large group. ;)

Although I m not very interested in plants, the whole area is kept clean and neat.i would recommend visiting the Japanese gardens. There is also a short movie about the estate in the main building. The site also has great parking facilities, a hotel nearby and a golf course. The only downside was the slightly overpriced tickets, at 10.50 for an adult.

There is a charge to just walk around the grounds and another charge to go in to the garden. Every person in the car was charged instead of a set cover for a car regardless of how many people in the car.
The stars are for the beauty of the grounds and the amazing views.
