Recently stayed here for a holiday party and everything was great. The room was super clean and had a 55inch TV. Ordered room service and the menu had a wide variety of food to choose from unlike most late night hotels menus. They also catered the event in their ball room which can accommodate hundreds. Overall nice staff with many perks in the hotel.

I stayed this hotel three times with my family. This hotel is awesome. Clean room condition, friendly service. I strongly recommend that you get lounge service at 18 floor. You can get a wonderful service.

Needed a place to stay 1 night in DC and needed something close to Arlington. This Ritz fit the bill.

Located 10 min from DCA and 15 min from Arlington (Traffic dependent). The Ritz is built into a hotel so not a typical freestanding hotel. Heater area for the cool nights as you wait for ubers is nifty, and valets are very friendly. Also, metro right next to the hotel as well is a plus!

When you walk in you see a small restaurant / lounge with a decent amount of service, then a small checkin counter and elevators. Not a large or luxurious lobby, but again only here forn business so I didn't mind.

Rooms were typical Ritz - decently appointed, older style furniture but doesn't look worn. Could probably use a renovation in the future but gets the job done. Bathroom is luxurious and spacious, and bed supremely comfortable. View wasn't too bad either. No issues with wi-fi, and no noises so sound isolation is good (the fact I got a junior suite probably helped as well).

Best part is its very affordable - so not the best Ritz I've been to but good for the price.

The location was great and for such a nice hotel was reasonably priced (I suppose a shutdown governement helped). The manage though went above and beyond and took extra care of me in the restaurant. The staff was excellent.

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz a few days ago...

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz a few days ago and we were extremely disappointed as our expectations were high.

We checked in after 4pm for an evening offsite event. Our initial room was on the 14th floor which was an "upgrade" as a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member. Upon exiting the elevator, there was an odor that smelled of burnt rubber. We went back to the front desk to notify them and they moved us to a room on the 16th floor. We could still smell the burnt rubber even though it was faint. We reported it again. Because we had to get changed for our event we didn't have time to wait around for another room.

We returned to our room late so we simply crashed and waited to take our showers in the morning. When I was half way lathered up, I noticed a long black strand of hair on the wall of the shower. I called my husband in to make sure I wasn't imagining things. He took a picture of it and we took it to the manager. (Both my husband and I are bald.) They gave us some points for our inconvenience and 2 cups of cappuccino. I will not be staying at the Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City again.

We just left The Ritz Carlton-Pentagon City after a 6 day stay. From the moment we drove up in our vehicle to the moment we drove away we were treated like royalty. We have stayed at multiple lux hotels and none of them compared to our stay here.

Soloman & Ed provided the best concierge service we have ever had.
Not only did they genuinely and compassionately treat us wonderfully they loved our children as well.
They delivered our 9 and 14 year old a Treat every evening to our room.
We felt like family around them, I simply cannot say enough.

Jennifer at the front desk also took exceptional care of us with a smile and a welcome daily. She to took a genuine interest in our stay at the Ritz.

Our rooms were spectacular.
Super clean everyday (I tend to be over picky & there was not a day I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room).
Our bed was made down for us in the evenings along with a chocolate on the nightstand each night.

The restaurant & bar were very close if not 5 Star dining.

Robert-behind the bar was a fantastic bar tender and Ironnie-the waiter was probably the most kind-genuine loving-attentive waiter we have ever had.

We also loved that the mall was attached to the hotel and the metro is right outside the front door!!

If your visiting the DC area you will not regret staying at this location. It exceeded all our expectations and truly made our family vacation better than we imagined!

The hotel itself is GREAT but all the EMPLOYEES make this location stand apart from all the others.

EXCEPTIONAL STAFF-RITZ!

We hope to see you again soon!

I love my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean and beautiful but my favorite part was the brunch. I probably tried everything from their display and I absolutely loved it.

The customer service cannot be beat at the Ritz Carlton. The staff went above and beyond to make certain that we had a nice, relaxing stay. The one downside is this particular hotel is undergoing construction. We were on the 12th floor and heard lots of noises and requested to be moved. Unfortunately, the room they moved us to had no A/C. We ended up getting this issue resolved and were treated to lunch at their restaurant for the inconvenience. The price is reasonable (booked through Expedia), but it's certainly not the nicest Ritz Carlton. The overhaul is needed!

I can't tell you how much of a disappointment this hotel has been. I have been a very long Marriott customer and I can't remember being let down by one of their properties as much as this one. First of all I travel on business so I am constrained by clients on what I can spend per night on lodging. The Ritz Carlton brand is usually out of my price range so I was pleasantly surprised on the rate I got here. As soon as I checked in the problems began. In the room there is a welcoming letter except it had someone else name. I called the front desk to ask if they put me into the wrong room. They indicated no it was the correct room and so I mentioned the welcoming letter with some other person's name. They said it was in error and they would send me up the correct letter. Now I didn't care except I didn't want some stranger walking into my room. They sent up the letter all it has is my name and room rate. The letter in my room was hand written welcoming this person and if there is anything the staff can do please don't hesitate to call. I get a call 10 mins later saying did I receive the new letter and they would be giving me 2000 bonus points for the mistake. They asked me for my rewards number and I gave it to them. They thanked me and said as a silver member we hope you enjoy your stay. I said I am not a silver member but a platinum member are you sure you have the correct person. I started to charge up all my electronics in some "charger port" that didn't work prompting me to call down again. They said they will send someone up to replace it. I am writing this a 12:30am and nary a service man has crossed my door. I have my electronics scattered across the room connected to any vacant outlet I could find including the bathroom, "note to management more outlets please". Next I turn on the TV and half the channels are either fuzzy or make a buzzing sound that's ok I usually watch movies or read books on my iPad. I connected it to their internet. For the first time I get a message on the iPad saying my internet connection is too slow for video. I have stayed at Best Westerns with better internet then this. Forget about working late on my laptop. Around 11PM I called the front desk to see if they have a overnight shoeshine service like other Marriott brands. I let the phone ring about a dozen times with no one picking up. When I first checked in I asked if they have a club lounge like other of Marroitt hotels. Yes they do but it is $100/day. That has to be some lounge for them to charge that much. I certainly can't expense it. But my curiousity has been piqued and I am going to try it tomorrow where I am sure based on my current experience I will be severly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I have been a very happy customer with Marroitt for over 30 years but when one of their premier brands is so under whelming and to be so business unfriendly I just had to speak up. Luckily I didn't have any pressing work deadline requiring me to complete tonight. A fast internet is absolutely essential in today's business environment. I can't wait for what tomorrow will bring!

I stayed there last Saturday night on my way driving to Florida. I ended up getting bed bug bites all over me. I called back to the hotel the next morning after i got home to Florida. The girl on the phone apologized and then said she would have a manager call me. No one called, so I have to call and report it to the health department. I wanted to talk to a manger but no one called back. Even after a second call.

Stayed for one night. Picked it because it was close to the airport. And the mall being next doors is convenient. Rooms are modern. I also used the fitness room and was a bit disappointed. There are lots of machines but the treadmills are ancient and not well maintained. The rest is good. Just the treadmills should be updated and the TV connection on those machines is really bad. The staff was very friendly but one of them entered my room without knocking while I was inside which was kind of weird.

It's a very average hotel except the price. Maybe it's because we stayed here on an award night, the room wasn't as perfect as I expected from Ritz Carlton ( some paper was on the floor when we walked in the room). Service was kinda off too; we asked for the dental hygiene kits and after we received the "will be there soon" call, it took more than 30 mins to get them. That's being said there is no major flaws but it's definitely not impressive. I will say this is pretty similar to any holiday inns I have stayed at.

Ive stayed at Best Westerns nicer than this hotel. Not only did our first room have bed bugs, 2/3 towels in the bathroom had MOLD on them. Disgusting. One hotel manager also sweared at my child TWICE for trying to speak to a guest who played for a baseball team. Terrible hotel, terrible management, terrible overall. Dont waste your money. Thankfully we only spent one night.

Beautiful, well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. Bed was top notch. I ve stayed here before and will stay again. Very close to the main stuff in DC, but also very close to Reagan Nat Air. There was an issue with the power in the area so they moved all the guests to area hotels at their expense. The way they handled it and attended to our preferences was top notch.

I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this place. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left, it was nothing but smiling, professional service from everyone we encountered. Our room was clean, which is my main priority with every hotel I stay at, bathroom was very roomy for my husband and I to get dressed together to save time, and our bed was comfy cozy. We had a great view of the Lincoln memorial and Washington monument.

My husband mentioned our anniversary was coming up to our housekeeper and they proceeded to spoil us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries free of charge! And before we left, they gifted us with more champagne!

I will always stay at this hotel whenever we're in DC. Everything was absolute perfection for the time we were there and I would love to go back. Absolute perfection!

This is a low-frills Ritz property. Like a Marriott hotel. If you're expecting an upscale Ritz-Carlton experience this is NOT the place to stay. It is very sterile and bare-bones. If you're here for business then it's OK, but if you're traveling for pleasure and want a nice Ritz-Carlton experience, room-wise, lounge-wise and bar-wise, this is not the place to stay. Staff is great, friendly and professional. For the right Ritz experience go to the Ritz on 22nd street in DC proper.

If you are a Marriott elite member, please do not stay here. They treat you like a substandard person and the hotel offers absolutely nothing in amenities unless you pay a lot. I am very angry at their lack of recognition of being a Marriott property.

We ve only stayed here for one night but wanted to stay for more:)
Staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating at reception. They make kids feel special with their kids check in desk offering candy and sweets for the little ones. It was very nice that they offered roses and champagne for grownups for Valentine s Day.
I would highly recommend this hotel for its location as it is directly linked to a sizable mall and adjacent to the Metro station.

Stayed with a few other couples, no kids, everyone was delighted with our stays. Courteous, efficient service, staff were wonderful. This hotel is located inside the mall, so we went down for breakfast to see what the food court offers, was a nice break, interesting. Mall was recently remodeled.
