Very nice hotel. Staff was very polite. Building looked nice from the outside and looked even better when you made your entrance. Friend told me that the rooms were decent size for the price. Might stay a night or two here in the future.

This hotel was pretty dated last time I was there. This was in 2016, so maybe they have upgraded since, but it was very overpriced for what it was. The rooms were nice, but not up to other Ritz standards. Service was terrific. Location was really nice and I loved that it was attached to an Equinox gym.

Was here for a work event , and as always the Ritz never disappoints. The service was excellent and the banquet staff really went above and beyond to ensure the event was a success. Would expect nothing less from a Ritz-Carlton, and yet I'm always pleasantly surprised!

Gerry at the front desk was so accommodating. After an error by Marriott Rewards he made our day by going right to the manager Megen and they made it a great experience. That s why we love the Ritz. Gerry even took us up stairs and introduced us to the Club lounge manager. Made it a Ritz Experience

Attended a wedding and reception, had a wonderful time. The food was fabulous, from the appetizers, dinner and dessert buffet. A truly memorable evening for the bride, groom and all of their guests

After 5 hours of drive to Boston, wanted my family to check in to the rooms at 430pm and they provided only one room. When asked about the other room, which was already confirmed, they said they can't provide exact info on when it will be available. Front desk was really not caring and was taking it as it was normal not to provide rooms upon arrival (even if it was confirmed)!!! Really Surprised at the attitude and poor service!!!

Hotel itself is very nice inside and modern. Unfortunately there is a strike going on which they omit to tell you. They start banging at 7am with Home Depot drums and some of the protestors are even willing to get into it with customers.

Due to lack of staff and such, there was no food service and help with baggage etc was at a minimal. Until this clears up I recommend staying away given the insane price of this hotel and the union strike that turns it into a motel 6

All Ritz are extraordinary in my experience.

All Ritz are extraordinary in my experience.

This one too - located right in the heart of downtown - hotel has all the shopping areas nearby. Hotel has equinox gym, which as you expect is quite good for working out in terms of facilities.

Street is generally crowded due to pedestrian area nearby.

Should definitely check out Ritz burger fantastic 8oz beef with garnishing - one of the best ones I had in while!

Super nice located and at the centre of gravity in Boston. Found the room rates north $500 too steep for what you get. Rooms are very spacious, but lil old. Especially the additional charge of $15 for the gym leaves a bitter taste. Even though it's an equinox.

Lovely hotel. Located on a side street, in walking distance from the Common. Rooms are comfortable and nice sized. (Not large, but comfortable). The lobby bar is small, but very warm and inviting. Plenty of sofas and chairs. The only weaknesses are the on-site restaurant (average, nothing special) and the salon (not nearly as nice as you'd expect considering the location). Doormen are the most wonderful and friendly in the city. They make me love this hotel. Great service all around.

The rooms were well appointed with robes and slippers for your use. The executive suites are spacious with 1 & 1/2 baths, pull out sofa and nice sitting area. The king room was nice, but nothing spectacular. My biggest complaint: for the money you spend you'd expect a near perfect customer service experience. I was disappointed that we didn't receive a phone call as promised when our room was ready. Although friendly and somewhat helpful, the staff didn't go out of their way to wow us with service. Still, the location was great and the rooms were comfortable.

Service level and value ascribed to a Titanium Marriot guest leaves much to be desired. Arriving late at 11 pm, after a long day/delayed flight, I couldn t say my overall experience was good. Upon check in, I asked the manager what time restaurant closing time was. He said it was midnight, so I took my time to change and went down to the bar. At the bar, 1130pm, was told sorry sir, that s not the case, we are closed . So I asked if I could at least order room service, and eat there (at least not in the dark room after a long day). Answer? Sorry, you ll have to order it from your room. And you can t eat here . I of course went to the FOM. He said he can fix it. And in any case, there was a restaurant that he s checked (5 min away) that was still open. I went there. Guess what? They said, sorry, kitchen closed . That is not the hotel s fault. But walking there in the cold, based on the wrong information, maybe the FOM could have done a better job ascertaining what I needed - to fill my stomach with proper food. Overall, it just was weak information and knowledge for the hotel that I expect RC to be. Who came through? The guy at the restaurant. He recommended Boston Chops for late food, and I got my fill. Also, guess what? I asked Boston Chops guy if I gave a good tip, can I get the main menu items instead of these late night ones? . Answer? Yes we can . Anyway, other than that my stay was too short to complain about anything else, except for one other thing. I had some items delivered to me at the hotel. Got one. Another, a book - only after I left did I check, it was delivered to the hotel but they didn t pass it to me. Till now, a whole week later, the hotel hasn t reached out about this. So not exactly the best experience. Maybe one more thing: for a Titanium guest, RC Boston was the only one not assigning a suite to me - despite the late check in, early check out time.

How do I take this away.
I've never been to this Ritz.
Only They Ritz Paris and the Ritz London. No Boston.

We stayed around Christmas season 2019 and it was horrible experience. There was urine stain on toilet seat..omg.. I couldn't believe that! Front desk sent some cleaning man and it got removed by applying some chemicals. Not offered any room change at the moment. Ended up getting 20% off from total but still.. it was not something we can expect from Ritz Carlton.

Rooms are beautiful, the entrance lobby is very posh and elegant whole still remaining comfortable. The bar atmosphere is casual and upscale and the service is to of line just like their drinks. Great place to make a pit stop when in Boston!

Awful hotel with an awful chain. We have platinum status with Marriott and booked a king size room. We checked in and were given two double beds. Front desk was completely uncooperative and didn t care at all. Refused to move us or find us a property that could accommodate us. Marriott has been going downhill rapidly. This is one of the reasons why I ve now flipped my 185 nights a year of hotel stay to Hilton properties.

Edit: manager said she would do anything to make us happy that didn t involve moving to the room we requested. We suggested getting us the correct room in another property. She said no. We suggested lounge access she said no.

2nd edit. I spoke with the assistant general ma after and she was a delight to work with. She was able to resolve my issue satisfactorily. I am moving the review up in stars because of Tamera. The only reason it wouldn t be higher is that the solution was so simple that any of the customer service people should have been able to do it.

Great location for tourists. Nice rooms with comfortable furnishings and excellent service by all employees we interacted with. There are certainly less expensive options in and around Boston, but people who stay at the Ritz-Carlton don't usually worry about price.

Phenomenally superb service and unparalleled, luxuriously refined accommodations. Location can't be beat in the heart of Boston. The Ritz Carlton is the perfect place to stay if you plan to attend the Boston Ballet. Close proximity also to the Theater District and Newbury Street.

We love Sterling! She is the best bartender. Unfortunately this location will be closed for the next 2 months for renovations. The food is good and the bar is fantastic. We can't wait until we see what changes! We want the beautiful ivory bar to stay but we will see

My wife and I splurged and stayed at this Ritz for our anniversary. We are Platnium Elite with Marriott but did not get a suite upgrade via mobile check in, which was disappointing. Rooms are cleaned and classy, but it costed close to $700 or 60k points for the cheapest room for the nights we stayed. The water pressure for the shower is the strongest I have experienced which is awesome. There were coffee ready around 8:30am on Saturday morning but none on Sunday morning just before 8am.

This is an employee compliment. My husband and I were there for a VIP Park West art event Feb 28-Mar 3. We had our privacy sign up and our phone rang. It was our housekeeper Margarida Silva. She asked if we needed anything replenished. We invited her in, to her we were something more than just a guest. I had actually sprained my ankle Friday evening. She came back to the room 15 minutes later instead of leaving to go home. She presented me with a basket of Epsom bath salt, a pair of compression stockings and a card. This woman needs to be recognized for taking the time to go above and beyond. My husband and I greatly appreciated her thoughtfulness and kindness. From the bottom of my heart Thank you Margarida Silva.

I did not feel like it was a Ritz. It felt like a regular hotel. Also they only had bottled water and could not accommodate me when I looked for other sources. The bottled water also ran out.
