I came here to relax at the bar after a long day of showing my friend the greater Boston area. The ambiance was nice. The old fashioned he ordered was disappointing, way too much ice. Service was awkward.

The staff goes out their way to combine class, style, and the comforts of home into an experience you'll never forget. They create a perfect mixture of impeccable hospitality and customer service that supersedes your expectations and leaves you wanting more. This is something that should be experienced at least once and you won't regret. Hands down.. A must stay!

Terrible place, I paid over five hundred dollars on a reservation here only to be told upon checking in that they had mistakenly booked my room for someone else. They then proceeded to offer me another room which I took. The next morning I find that my card had been charged an extra two hundred dollars more then what my reservation was for. They explained that this was an upgraded room which costed more but never bothered to tell me that before hand. I will never go here again these people have terrible service.

Though I did not spend the night at The Ritz-Carlton, my time spent at the hotel's bar and restaurant was pleasant and accommodating. If you are looking for a place to eat and relax, I would highly recommend.

This is my favorite hotel. Ever.and I've stayed at a lot of hotels. Our suite was ready at 2pm as promised, which NEVER happens. We stayed in a suite with our infant and there was plenty of room. The upgrade to the club lounge was also worth it with the delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert available. Every person here was very kind and made sure to make us feel welcome. Chinatown is around the corner, and Boston Commons is across the street. Even with the bitter arctic cold, we had a great holiday stay. I look forward to returning!

The club lounge was disappointing, food had been out too long and very limited selections. The rest was fine aside from an extremely overt front desk manager who yelled hello to everyone who walked in like a Walmart.

Leaves much to be desired. Seems like they have an issue with serving succesful patrons as if they are owed something. Some of the staff is two faced (top management/operations). They will talk behind your back if you are a resident. If you want to be treated like a normal human being theres always Gabe or one of the Front Office operations guy don't remember his name (white male, has a beard, with a Pompadour haircut) needles in the haystack at that place. Bad culture makes the Ritz here look like a crusty motel.

I don't usually leave reviews for hotels, but the staff at the Ritz went above and beyond to make it a phenomenal experience for both us and our kids. This is hands down the most kid friendly luxury hotel in Boston.

Also, we didn't get it this time, but getting a suite at the club level allows you to use the club suite with around-the-clock food and drinks (along with other services like shirt/suit presses).

Service was excellent from lobby staff all the way to the parking staff. Even those that you wouldn't expect to have gone through customer service training was courteous and went the extra mile. I had a difficult time remembering where I parked and the staff graciously assisted me in locating my vehicle.

The Ritz-Carlton, Boston was a nice visit. I was greeted with a nice atmosphere and dedicated employees. The room I stayed in had a pretty good view as well. However, the staff were a little slow with my room service, and some of the stuff I got from room service was a little dirty.

They were kind enough to let us use their restroom when we visited Boston Common. Struck up a conversation with an employee there who spoke of all his guests, asked me questions about my hat (USS America cap) and was just very friendly.

Overpriced for what you get. Staff looked like they had woken up on the wrong side of the bed constantly. Bar in reception inexplicably does not open until 5, at which point any atmosphere is ruined by an overly loud piano player/singer. Rooms are nice but aircon was loud and old-fashioned.

It is very nice. The doorman Kenneth was very friendly and helped shorten our route to Fenway. The clubhouse on the 12th floor was definitely worth the extra money. My only complaint is everybody greets you and sometimes I don't want to say good morning 7 times. I had a great time though
