Have a Chinese wedding dinner there. Many separate ballrooms for function use. The food there is from chinese restaurant at the hotel which taste not bad as compare to many 5 stars hotel.
Haven't tried the rest of the facilities there. The place is hard to find without taking cab and own driving. Hotel Car park only entry from hotel main entrance along 1 way road. If I missed, go 1 big round again.

The bus stop of bus 36 is easy to move in front of you. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly.

The high tea session at the Regent hotel has a good spread and offers exquisite sweets and cakes. Truly impressive. The staff were attentive and pleasant to the guests.

A nice hotel. Although I've only been on the ground floor (was here for an event), I can say that it's got quite a nice lobby -- interestingly decorated, and nicely lit. Facilities were decent too, with very clean toilets, plus the employees who served us food did so professionally and quickly.
Beautiful hotel but getting a little dated compared to some of the other local options. Breakfast has a great selection. Staff are exceptional.
Came here for the Christmas Italian buffet spread. Food spread was good service was excellent.
If the Regent is not rated 5 Star, it should be. First class service. The free use of Travel Buddy is the icing of the proverbial cake.
Attended Saturday brunch. The atmosphere was not ideal- like attending a pub buffet. Children running around and lots of noise. We were sat right by the door with no view. Food was average- nothing special. One of the guests was ignored on 3 occasions for a drink top up. Another guest had a different wine poured on top of the wine in their glass. Some of the staff were good but the others disappointing.

Very nice rooms and excellent service by the staff, central location with good dining and malls nearby as well as transportation. View from hotel is a bit iffy.
Personally, I really like it. It was like that 5 years ago and it's still nice. You can walk to the Botanic Garden.

The structure with a solid feeling was good. The bar was wonderful too, and the correspondence of the concierge also helped me to cope well with me who is not feeling well. As water pressure of bathroom of room was low and was hard to use, I will make it four stars.
Went for wedding dinner. Dinner was fantastic but decor was aged.
It'd be a more pleasant experience if there's a lift connecting straight to the car park.

Banquet food was good, but service staff appeared to be inexperienced. Decor was very homely.
Regent Hotel has been around for a long while. Their service is not too bad, but location is off orchard Road. The Italian restaurant Bilasico has great Asian spread. Not too bad.
Quite impressed with the cosy looks but their door carpets are in need of change as they are dirty and run down. Lastly, it is encouraging that most of my colleagues still thus hotel for our annual retreat as the service is prompt.
I have been to several hotels in Singapore and I find Regent is the best in my experience. I like that it is just little off the grid so it is quiet and less crowded. You can still go to Orchard Road which is fairly nearby even by foot. The staffs are excellent and always helpful. I had accidentally dropped a very important document and they managed to locate it. Morning breakfast was excellent although Halal options might be a little restricted. I really like their French toast and marble cake.
The hotel is okay, but it is very difficult to take a taxi. The restraunt itself is ok, but if you want to take a taxi,it is very very difficult,almost takes 1 hour

Went to a wedding dinner. The decor and surroundings were great. Food was not nice at all. Staff were also a bit blur. I take it that some are temp staff to help cover the wedding, but they should have been trained better... 1 staff didn't even know where the washroom is..
Old school charm. This senior statesman of Singapore's hotel scene wears its years well. Great shower pressure, friendly staff and the best hotel bar in town by far.
I have been to Singapore many times in the past 25-30 years, but this was my first time staying at the Regent Hotel. It was excellent in every way. Clean, modern, large, good location, etc. But the best part was the hotel staff. I travel frequently and have had good staff in the past, but this was the best experience yet. Everyone from check in to check out was awesome, including the excellent and many guys hailing cabs and holding doors for us. The staff in the Regent Club deserves high marks and praise. Thank you all.
I highly recommend the Regent Hotel in Singapore. I won't stay anywhere else from now on.

Location outside of main downtown, rooms are average, hotel shoes signs of age, staff are very friendly and helpful, food is generally good.
Stayed at Regent for one night and overall experience is disappointing at check in, room condition, and check out.
Check in desk appeared to be helpful and offered a call upon room is ready but no call at all.
At check out the staff has no interest to know if my staying is pleasant one.
Most disturbing part was constant strange loud sound from somewhere water pipe throughout the night, smell from shower curtain. This hotel does not check room condition.
It is definitely a rare experience in a five stars hotel in Asia. Don't think I would go back nor recommend this hotel to anyone I care. The only great experience is at Manhattan bar.
Just attending the medical symposium here, not staying at this hotel, ... like other places in Singapore, for Muslim people, or for Indonesians, not accustomed to using dry toilets, don't forget to go to the toilet here ... bring drinking water yeah ... hihi ..., Unfortunately even big hotel, this hotel doesn't have any prays room or musholla :( :( there is a lot of moslem in singapore rite? Then moslem tourist ... so first experience x to regent (Because I don't stay here), I want to pray to Al Falah Mosque on Orchard Road..6 Cheapest Singdollar (pk Grab / Gocar) ... The remaining days ... We pray on the emergency stairs ... First experience x all my prayers at emergency stairs ... stairs of anxiety if here .... food ... also be careful ... must be observant see there is "pork" or not, during the lunch session ... never nearly eat pork pizza ... that's all my comment and receive love

Really nice hotel with many good food and drink options inside. The reception is classy without being overformal and the staff were all pleasant and helpful.
The only complaint I would have is the wifi quality which was slightly sketchy throughout the hotel. I struggled to order and uber at the reception literally 2 feet from the wifi router (5 bars of signal) so that was my only complaint.
The hotel bar the Manhattan is hand down the best bar in Asian. If you arrive early the staff will be happy to provide a personal tour. The hotel is located in close proximity to shopping districts but seasoned Travellers would find the location wanting.
Hotel is beautiful and clean. Was there for its Restaurant Yan Ting to celebrate a relative' birthday. Wait staff was attentive and friendly
We used with infant and two people, but were large, beautiful and comfortable. All-you-can-call overseas for free, you can use an unlimited number of online smartphones in the room. Receptionist was English, but there seems to be staff who can cope with Japanese. The children were delighted with welcome sweets and chocolate drinks coated with Muscat chocolate.

This hotel has a nice smell of flowers. Fragrance or a good scent amenity.
The staff is kind. When I asked for luggage until check-in, I could use the pool and gym, and gave me mineral water and amenities.
Accommodation cost is good because it is a little far from the station. It takes about 4 to 6 dollars by taxi to the station. It's hot, so if you walk on it it will be hot and you should take a taxi.
Went to the Manhattan bar. Place and atmosphere are excellent.
Attended a friend's wedding banquet, the food was great and of high quality, definitely better than other hotels of similar pricing.
Manhattan brunch was great. Did have plenty of issues with ordered cocktails not arriving, but staff were always friendly and helpful. Was a little disappointed that we were asked to leave at 3:40pm with drinks still on the table. The brunch does finish at 3pm, but for $170 per person, you'd think you could sit around for a while and finish your drinks afterwards.
Definitely a classy, cozy place for a night. Rooms are clean and just right and its located in downtown Singapore so covenient to do shopping and sightseeing.
