Super hotel ..super service..super location.. can't ask for anything better

The ambience at the hotel is excellent and the food served by the restaurant, Summer Palace was very good.

Went for the afternoon tea. Staff were really polite and nice. Food wise, we found to be really salty. Niece and nephew from Canada said the taste was strange. Not that it's bad, just not used to the taste. Some of the items with fish were really fishy. The cheese was great. We appreciated that we each had two choices of teas. The peppermint tea is really good and strong. Lovely.

Went to get a strawberrystrawberry torta at Dolcetto, ambience and service was great. The cake is very moist and not too sweet. Will recommend to my friends.

While Regent Hotel is located in Orchard, the place is not near mrt station. Service at Our Summer Palace was good. Food and ambience was great.

Attended a wedding recently - food was pretty good and the staff were polite and professional.

Came to the lobby. Sat down for a bit, admired the floor tiles, reluctant to commit. Wasn't over eager to talk to the familiar faces. Was requested politely to leave. Headed off on one foot. Suspect my hind leg is getting weak. (Just that I came on two and left with my tail curled. between my legs.) May, enquire with the front desk to submit a formal enquiry.

I had drinks and snacks at the Manhattan bar in regent hotel, service was top notch. We were brought to a table shortly after waiting at the door. They served free ice water and popcorn. Popcorn and water were contently refilled promptly. The food and drinks were affordable. Most items costs $10+. I really enjoyed their fried cauliflower and apple cheese pie. The Apple cheese pie is served in 5 small bite sized balls, sweet but not overly sweet, with a tint of sourness. The cauliflower was pretty filling, tasted a bit like potato wedges at first, served with blue cheese and pistachio dip.

Attended 2 weddings at Regent Hotel and I must say I'm really impressed with the services, deco and food. Recommended!

Although still some walking proximity to the subway train, regent is still considered easily accessible by car, public bus transport etc. The interior is well maintained and the hotel host a nice Italian restauarant Bascilico (liked the ambient and attentive service) and an award winning bar Manhatten!

Staycation, Basilico semi - buffet, High Tea at the lounge, and (my favourite) Manhattan Bar - the Regent is the most complete offer for great times.

It is very professional and Grand. The food is excellent, especially from summer palace which is of repute. Old World charm, mixed with modern convenience. There are quaint lifts shooting up the central pillar of the hotel, and is a medium sized building. One gets a sense of awe looking up. Elegant bakery and lounges ticket away in the corners of the hotel but they usually close before 9.

Was there on a wedding lunch occassion. Felt that waitering staff are not properly trained. Red wine was spilled over my 2 other friends and i. White wine were spilled over the table. Tea were spilled over my friend's phone. I would not blame the staff but blame the hotel for inadequate training given.

Went there to purchase moon cakes. Location is about 10 min unsheltered walk from Orchard MRT station. Hotel looks clean and provides great services. Big shopping malls and food areas are all within walking distance.

Regent hotel has great services. Staff were prompt and alert to customer's request. I like the ambience of the hotel and the design too.

Filthiest 5* hotel i have ever seen. Staff is unprofessional. Facilities in room worse than 1*. Room service is a mess. Food is served cold like some sort of revenge. No way to warm up it up. Complain about the food service and you hear reply like "We cannot do anything".

Most rooms are without a balcony and window opens to a road. Make sure you are not staying with young children because windows are really dangerous.

Basilico Sunday brunch is amazing. Wonderful staffs and great selection of cheese, meat and seafood. Do remember to book in advance.

An unexpected stay when my flight had to land in SG due to a fault. Overall it was a comfortable hotel. Staff were friendly. Pool and facilities were great. The only negative would be that it is definitely feeling it s age. But can t complain when it was a free night.
