Amazing collection! New York's MoMA has one of the most dynamic art collection.

The store is really good to shop. The art and exhibition is great. So many famous artists' pictures there.

Best museum in town, great art , superb architecture , wonderful programs

The worst art gallery I've ever been to in the world. They charge $25 USD for the admission and to be honest, I wouldn't go back even if it was free. Here's the reasons.

The place is not really an art gallery, but rather a human zoo with so much health risk, I couldn't breath properly because of lack of oxygen and fresh air. Just look at my photo.

There's no instruction or sign to move ppl efficiently. Complete chaos, not sure where everyone's $25 USD goes to.

Just a waste of time. Never again! This place is just a quick cash grab from tourists. You can't see anything lol

Moma undoubtedly has an unrivaled world-class collection of art and is a must-visit for any art lover. The basic problem here is that like so many famous museums it's become a cattle-march of thousands of people scrambling to see everything as quickly as possible. There's simply no opportunity to enjoy and absorb the pieces in between being pushed out of the way, trying to get your thoughts together in the noise, and fighting tourists with flash photography. It's now $25 per person and there was a 30 minute entry line when it opened at 10.30am on a Wednesday morning - we lasted about an hour before calling it quits.

I love the wide variety of exposition shown during the years. Museum installations are friendly and sights are beautiful.

This is a must go see.

Nice collection of art from impressionist masters to modern artists. Loved the Van Gogh's, Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso's, et al., in the Collection Galleries 1880s-1950s. It gets a little crowed around these pieces. Suggest early arrival.

A must visit. An iconic art museum in New York City. A loved it. Always changing. Great iconic art to see.

One of my favorite places in the city. It s historic, and a must visit whether a tourist or a local (multiple visits if you re in the area). There is so much to see, it can feel a bit overwhelming. If it s your first time, highly suggest doing a little research and figuring out your route through, as it is quite big and there is much to see. If you live in the city and head up that way even 4 times a year, I highly suggest a membership. Also, the rotating exhibits are usually great.

The MoMa is always busy but the exhibitions are beautiful and the outside garden is a wonderful place to cool off after a movie or viewing the galleries.

Good Art selection. Very crowded from noon. Better be there when they open. Staff is very friendly

I think if your time is limited in New York you re better off going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

They have Starry Night! I'm not a big fan of modern art (only a few artists and styles), but I really enjoyed the house collections from the late 1800s. The museum is much bigger than I expected also, 6 floors. My least favorite part was the number of tourists that didn't respect art viewing etiquette, but I went during Friday night free admission so crowds to be expected. I will go back, probably several times! Loved the experience! Thanks MoMA donors for all the great art available for everyone to view!

Always a pleasure to visit this museum. This particular evening I went to see the Charles White exhibit. It was a rainy evening but it didn't dissuade the crowd of visitors that walked briskly to enter the museum. This exhibit evokes many emotions as you view this artist's work. The depth and the stories that are told through his work. If you have an opportunity to get there soon, please go. Go with friends or make a solo trip, but don't miss.The exhibit is there till mid January I believe. If you're unable to make this exhibit, there's always something at the Moma to entice you to visit. Great place to introduce young people to art!

The MoMA is a wonderful exhibit for anyone who has at least a small interest in modern art. We went for the day and spent about 3 hours touring the museum and having lunch in the very ample cafe.
Art starts with impressionist, including a massive water lily painting by Monet. There is much to see here from most famous modern artist all the way through some of the very abstract art of today. The only issue we had was it was quite crowded with some very rude visitors. As a result, it was difficult to see some of the most famous pieces and almost impossible to read the related captions. This criticism, is not focused on the museum, but on the people there that day.
The price of admission was quite reasonable.

Trash exhibit. Coordinators should be fired. Get some real knowledge in there. Axe the whole staff if you have to.

From the complete abstract to the sublime artistic expressions of some of the best painters on earth. This modern art museum is for the whole family and can take the better part of a day to explore. You know their art collection is vast when there is a Minecraft display. The big apple on a pedestal sums up the museum; sophisticatedly elegant.

Great place to spend an afternoon. Good mix of pieces from older and newer artist.

The MoMA is great! They have a huge collection of art and the 5th floor has all of the classic artists.

MOMA is a nice museum, but VERY packed. We went on a Monday, when most people are working and in school, and it was still hard to get around.

Really nice works of art, and a great sculpture garden. We had NYC passes, so we didn't have to pay the high price to get in.

There's so much here you can't cover it in a single day, and it's all fantastic. Can't believe they've got Starry Night, that is ultra cool.

Interesting place to spend an afternoon. Lots of classical modern pieces--is that an oxymoron?-- and the gift shop is pretty rad. The general vibe of the place is "I feel like I'm about to be murdered, but I'm okay with it?" Would take a friend.

It's MoMA, it's busy. If people would go to experience the works, target than just treating the gallery as a gossip stroll, that would be nice.

One of my favorite places in NYC. It's visually tantalizing with an amazing collection. The seasonal exhibits range from historically wonderful to stirringly contemporary, always at the forefront of modern art.

With a collection and breadth of exhibits there's so much incredible art here it's almost enough to get over run! A quality day experience complimented with a tasty meal at their cafe is something you shouldn't miss!

I always enjoy visiting the MoMA. Went for the Louise Bourgeois & Max Ernst exhibits, but couldn't help visiting some if my favorites in the permanent collection. There's never enough time for visiting museums

Better than SF MoMA; has a lot of variety, so it gives you a chance to move on if you don't like a section. There are also quite a bit of surprises too

What really needs to be said here - it is the MOMA in NYC! Only tip I have is start at the top and work your way down. The best stuff is on the 5th floor and you want the most time to see the Picassos's and Van Gogh's and all of the other masters they have there. Nothing worse than to realize you only have 20-30 minutes left and you haven't even been to the top yet.

So much to explore! It can be a bit confusing when you walk in but everything about this museum is everything you ve wanted in a museum.

absolutely incredible to see all the famous works from some of the top names in art history. i'm not an "artsy" kind of guy but just being there feels like a part of cultural history. it has a really good flow and you can get right up close to some of the most famous works of art in history. really a good time.

WOW. Diverse, brilliant and iconic collections. Fascinating art-installations on the 5th floor.

What really impressed me was the staff inside the museum. Each and every person I encountered was so friendly and helpful - whether giving extra info about the art or giving you directions...when/if you get lost in there. Kudos to the staff and management after a brilliant remodel.

I can t wait to return to MOMA.

It was a raining day and we decided to walk in to MoMA, so did the other million tourist in the city. Too crowded

Modern art is a scam for the most part. I would regret to say that this museum is pretty much a waste of time and money for the fee to get in. Go to Metropolitan. That's the place to see! Go to the Bronx Zoo!

I had a wonderful time at the museum. I will be bringing my grandchildren here someday in the near future.

Great collection with some must-see works. Can get very crowded so plan ahead. Don't miss the sculpture garden and courtyard. The special exhibits are great too.

Damned good museum but there needs to be a warning somewhere about bags, you have to check in your bags whenever you come in and grab them on the way out. Plan for a 20-30 minute line for that when it's busy

Usually great but was under renovation so 40% of it was closed. Looking forward ti going back once its completed.

Only few paintings are exceptional in my opinion. I got free tickets, thanks to Uniqlo.

Great place and the art lab is Fantastic too keep the kids busy... Very impressed.

Great place to stimulate both mind and senses. Galleries well organised although renovations ongoing. Free cloakroom for coats and bags. Fashion exhibition a must see whilst on.

Pretty cool. I recommend getting the audio tour headphone things and select the tours, not just select the numbers seen on some of the pieces. You could easily spend the whole day in the museum, and I mean the whole day. Put your coat up in the cloak room and get lost in loads of art.

One of the great museums of the world and a must stop to any visit to NYC. The Met is more impressive and MOMA is not free, but it is well worth the visit. As an Aside, Make a trip to it's secondary location at PS1 in Long Island City (Queens). It is FAR larger and has fewer crowds. You'll be glad you made the trip.

Take the elevator up and work your way down. Lots of variety and masterpieces!

I am not a modern art lover, maybe it's this the cause I don't like It. However the Place Is well organized, u don't have to wait to enter and they give u a wardrobe too.

Was here with a friend, we really enjoyed it. Wonderful atmosphere, we did not notice how time flew.

This place is really beautiful, being able to see start night and a whole host of Picasso and dolly works really made me and my girlfriend happy. Everything is so much more beautiful in real life.

This place is a must if you like modern art. You can have free access every Friday from 5pm to 8pm but I recommend you to get there around 4:30pm because the line can be long!

Over an hour line to get inside. Rude and ridiculous security. Not worth the hassle at all. Seeing art shouldn't be this difficult

Great experience, but cafe is overpriced. A shame since a lot of school kids go to see the artwork. It would be beneficial to have some reasonably priced options for kids that might not be getting a decent meal at home.

Amazing art but there's no room to appreciate it - too crowded and claustrophobic. Don't go on the weekend or on a holiday.

Everything from the building's architecture to the extensive art galleries was amazing. Nicely air conditioned and reasonably priced. Make sure to take advantage of the student discount if you can, as well as the free coat/bag check, and beautiful outdoor courtyard!

Crowded with little space to view art pieces. Particularly noted rude French Tourists blocking art work and shoving their way through people. Lack of seating within the museum and outside of it. Lack of bag policy consistancy, was told to check bag and jacket, others were allowed large bags without checking them.

Went there on a weekday when it wasn't so crowded, had a good time. Prepare to spend 1.5-2 hours there.

Super great collection of fantastic art. Wide variety, from "tilt your head till you see it," to "oh wow, starry night is actually here". Could not recommend more.

Really enjoyed this place. Not too big, not too small. Lots of guff on the lower levels, but gets much better as you ascend.

My favorite museum in the city. Walk for long enough and you are guaranteed to find something amazing and enlightening and seemingly crafted to speak specifically to you. Along the way, enjoy a lot of weird stuff seemingly crafted precisely for... somebody else.

Always something for everyone at MoMA! The greats never disappoint. And you might learn something new from some of the more avant-garde pieces. Worth the visit

THE MoMA. Home of the starring night by van Gough, which was quite amazing. Also home of the soup can, but I missed it.
I am not the biggest advocate for modern art, however there are many gems among question marks. Enjoyed many Picasso s.

Just a great museum - exhibits, architecture, staff - very good food! Spend as little or as much time as you wish
Special exhibit on the architecture of Yugoslavia is interesting and pleasantly presented. A must to visit in NYC!

The moma is an amazing museum. The temporary exhibits are usually great and it's fun to peruse the permanent collection when people come to visit you. The membership is great if you visit more than once a year and will get you right into those exhibits that require a wait. Not too happy about all the current construction (nor that they tore down the folk art museum, one of my favorite buildings). The modern restaurant is very good and the movie theater attached next door shows some real gems from time to time.

I am surprised by the amount of people visiting this place, I guess it is a good thing, modern art is very well presented great museum.

Beautiful redesign, expansion and presentation. So much more of this outstanding collection of modern and contemporary art is now on view and will be rotating on a regular basis.

Some of the greatest iconic pieces of modern art in the world. Despite renovations, there was not a natural flow through the galleries/exhibits. Having said that, must-do activity.

One of my favorite museum, I went there couple times a year. There are less people in the early morning.
Tips: You can get the half price ticket one hour before they closed, if you are not student, senior, or have the pass to get free tickets.
