We had a lovely meal for 7 not one complaint from a fussy family. Very friendly, greated by a lovely lady who gave us a card with 50% discount if we came again. See you tomorrow night Food all came out at once (no one waited ) nicely presented even Scrabble the family dog was a good boy, sat waiting for someone to sneak him a little something but our plates were clean. Recommend for sure. Lovely settings .

Great little pub that welcomes dogs inside and out. Walked along beach from Hunstanton and found this gem of a pub where the food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

Outside tables are spread over the lovely terrace and garden at the back with good sea views. We had lunchtime sandwiches which came with a small salad and crisps. Tasty. Meal portions looked enormous! Reasonable prices.

A real find, wanted to find a pub on the seafront to enjoy sunset with a drink and meal. Hunstanton itself was way too busy, but found this place by chance. Staff friendly, good food, good choice of drinks. Thinking of coming back here next time we're in the area, highly recommended

We were served very nice food by friendly efficient waiters, nice lagers in the restaurant. The downside is limited access for the disabled if any, being an old building there's limited scope for alterations

Fantastic food and service, we were in the Sunset lounge and how appropriately named was that, we watched the sun go down over the sea whilst I tucked into one of the best burgers i've ever seen! My wifes pie was nothing shy of perfection, so impressed! The selection was fantastic, the local ice cream was epic. Will definitely come back here again next time we're in the area.

Just wasn't worth the money for for the quality of the food. Tasteless. Burnt burger. The other dinner was the same bland. Seemed like staff have given up a couldn't care less attitude. Nearly give up waiting to order as no one came up to our table, I wish we had.

We booked a meal in the Sunset Room. The view is nice, particularly at sunset, although if you're in the wrong place you can get blinded from the glare, with little or no shade. The menu was fairly limited, with little to excite, but it was ok. The service was reasonable but more could have been done to make diners aware of non-availability. I'd like to know if something is not available when requesting (or before preferably) not have the server return to inform me. Pricing was reasonable, although we were taking advantage of an offer.

Really nice pub, the good is very good, however it is on the pricier side, which is the only problem for me. But the highlights are definitely the beer garden, with a view of the sea and the sunset, it is a beautiful place to enjoy a cold beer

Nice food & a cold water dispenser, which is free. The location is lovely and the ambiance good. I would give 5 stars, but there were empty sachets stuffed through the radiator grates. This was a little off putting.

Lovely old pub. Great food and choice of drinks. Lovely tiered outside patio area and large grassed area leading to tbe beach. Lovely views. Plenty of parking to rear and a few on the roadside out front. Small carpark over the road if also using the small gift shop there.

I visited the ancient mariner inn tonight with my husband and grandchildren all though the food was ok just I had the curry which came with rock hard nann breads that I couldn't eat and my husband nearly chocked on a chicken bone from a breast off chicken covered in cheese and bacon and I did tell the girl on our way out but as usual customer service thinks it's ok to say sorry not what I'd expected from a best Weston
