What a lovely pub. Friendly staff. Amazing outdoor space with loads of room for kids to play. Right next to a wonderful sea view. We didn't have food but what we saw looked good. Beer was great. Definitely one to come back too.

The Ancient Mariner, is a very nice place to go to for a meal, the service was good the meal was perfect the staff very helpful and polite, the price of the meal reflects the quality of the food, the bonus was a fantastic sea view.
We would recommend this place and we shall be going back. All in all a great experience well done.

Nice location with average, over-priced food. It was understandably busy on a hot bank holiday weekend but the service was quick once we'd queued to order.

My Wife and i come here a lot when we're in Hunstanton.

They have riped out the little play area to put in more seating, now I cannot have a drink with the Mrs in peace. Bad move.

Better now the summer is over and the crowds are gone! Meals are not bad especially the fish and chips!

Lovely views. Dog friendly with plenty of parking with walk through sand dunes to lovely quiet beach. 50% voucher off food. Simple but tasty menu. One of my favourite places for family time

Very much Standard Fare in other words very average. Service was quick and friendly so no complaints in that department however I did expect better from the food as it is adjacent to a 4-star Hotel. Cleanliness and layout was fine if not a little dull, however if you sit outside you have a lovely few of the sea but watch out for the wasps.

Our meal last night was below the usual standard the fish was very greasy , the Chinese pork steak's were fattie and not a lot for the price, and the chicken tikka masala meal was more of a child's meal the only meal that my friends like we're the cod monary

Called in for an afternoon drink but sorry it lacked atmosphere, and there were lots of dirty glasses on bar and tables, but still not bad for a quick drink, however the evening times in the restaurant is best.

It was ok but I have to say that the toilets were pretty disgusting!!

Go with a bogof deal from the Lynn news and your enjoy yourselves. Without and your be disappointed with the meals. Broadside ale kept really nice and fantastic view of the coastline. Lovely clean seating through the back. Ideally go for a walk down to the beach after and it's perfect.

Brilliant Venue, Pub and Restaurant.

Generally the menu pricing is slightly high, but then this venue and views can attract such food prices.
Drinks are also slightly pricey hence the 4 star review.
There are offers for 50% off coupons if you look out for them in local leaflets / newspapers.
Beach is a 10 mins walk from this pub.
Staff are very polite and helpful.
