The food was so nice it was a bit expensive but it was homely and you get what you pay for.

Beautiful location by the beach but terrible food... basically Wetherspoons quality at central London prices. Good range of beer and it's well kept and poured but also quite pricey

Fairly standard pub, but with great views from most seating areas, and extremely friendly staff, which in my book makes a difference.

DEC 2020 Government "recommendations" taking totally out of context arrived, sat down ordered drink and food ...they would not let me have our drinks until the food was on the table!!! Signage crazy walking around in circles to arrive a few steps to where you started. Lot's of other pubs in the area not so ridiculous in recommendations. Pluses, good sized car park and near the beach

Great views over the beach. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced food. Good choice of ales and lagers. Noticed that rooms were at competitive prices, may stay here but not sure if dogs allowed to sleep in bedrooms.

The waiting staff were a little slow and ine of the female managers were quite stressed & it was clearly too much for her. Food was lovely though which is the only reason I am giving it 5 stars! It was very busy, being the tourist season, so lots of kids n old couples, very nosey n hot.

Old world pub with a restaurant attached. Garden terrace too!

Friendly staff, a selection of ales including London Pride, food was ok.

Food was ordinary but very acceptable. The barman had actually been on the customer service course though and was very welcoming (shame other staff and premises don't do the same!).

Stayed at the Hotel next door, used the Mariner to eat and have a drink. All good.

Great food and friendly service. Plenty of alfresco dinning space with a fantastic onion victor over Old Hunstanton's natural unspoilt beach.

Expensove but nice food. Had a vegetarian lasagna, very tasty.

Nice outside area during the decent weather, good beer and service would of given a 4 but due to management belittling the bar staff in front of customers it's a 3 for me.

Nice spot to sit out for a drink or food, overlooking the sea at Old Hunstanton. Food fine, average prices, substantial portions. You order food and drinks at a sort of reception desk and then you have to go to the bar to collect your drinks so that was a bit of a pain as there were lots of people waiting and getting frustrated with only 2 staff at the bar at that time and people queue jumping, but then it was a very hot bank holiday Monday and very busy.

Friendly place plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Have daily specials menu plus normal menu, prices reasonable for seaside/ beach front pub.

Just been to eat here and to be honest, we were disappointed. Considering the size of the place, there weren't many tables and the ones that weren't occupied needed cleaning or other people were lobbing all over them and taking up double the space. One couple were sat on a table for 8.

The meals were nice but as unfortunately, this didn't rescue the bad impression.

Ok food Sunday Lunch should be served with gravy on the side. It was swimming in gravy.

Nice pub, good food and good service at a reasonable price.

I had a nice meal and particularly enjoyed the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. The service was good.

Food was good and appropriately priced for the portion sizes.

It was too busy in the restaurant to get a table so we ate in the bar area, the menu is slightly different but we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and I have to recommend the chai latte cake which was delicious and an option I haven't come across before in any of my local restaurants. On top of that very polite friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere made it a great place to eat.

Made lots of effort with all the difficulties at the moment,enjoyable meal outside, lots of space and good variety on the menu . Well done

Large Inn with views to the sea from the garden. Lots of tables to eat and drink at and it's always been busy when we've gone. Staff are good, the food is good and normally not too long to wait but prices a bit high for me for what you get. Nevertheless we return for the location and setting.

Thoroughly recommend the chilli tacos - absolutely delicious!

One of those places I'm afraid that has a very imaginative menu writer. In reality the food is poor. No better than a really cheap cafe. They charge however according to the fancy menu

Nice restaurant if you are visiting Old Hunstanton. It is really lovely to sit outside in the evening with a nice beer at sundown. The restaurant offers a good range of classic English pub dishes and offers a good range of beers.

Terrible food slow at the bar served by mumpy blank faced youths never again I only gave it 1 star because it is close to the sea
