Very clean, nicely decorated rooms. Beautiful bathrooms/tubs. Location next to Forsyth Park is very pretty. But it is a very long walk to River Street if that is what you're after...I'd estimate about a mile. Breakfast was overpriced and not very good. I would steer clear of their restaurant in the future.

We were very excited to stay at this hotel as it appeared to be very luxuriously appointed. However, it falls short in many unfortunate ways. We were in and out of hotel often and only noticed a concierge at the desk one time- whom was also covering the front desk. The hotel seemed minimally staffed as room service took almost an hour for a mid-afternoon snack. Also, the front desk takes the room service order- which resulted in a delay and inaccuracies on our order. The concierge level is a poor attempt at mirroring similar four star properties such as Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, etc. The concierge level offered a very tired cheese plate with ritz like crackers, pulled pork, and occasionally chicken wings- not exactly par for the course. Also, the food was never consistently available. Whether it was fifteen minutes or forty-five minutes before the service ended- they would not replenish their very limited offering. However, the spa was an amazing experience and was at par with many 5 Star level hotels we have stayed at. Two massages were around $450 inclusive of gratuity and it they well worth it. Our king room was nice but not but seemed a little dated and had very thin walls resulting in overhearing conversations next door in addition to street noise. Overall, we had a somewhat enjoyable stay however for $400 plus per night- we will stay elsewhere next time in savannah.

We watched Pretty in Pink from the bedroom tv while soaking in the tub, as I sipped my room service martini. Most hotels are prettier in pictures than in real life. This place is the opposite- you really gotta see this place to appreciate it.

This hotel ruined my vacation. Yes it was nice but after paying well over 1000$ to stay here. They wanted a extra $200 a night for parking because they only offered valet parking and who only knows what. I ended up leaving the next day. Went to the bar for some food and got the BLT. The bacon was burnt and tasted like it was dipped in salt. It was also very dry. Some staff members didn't really seem to friendly. I dont plan on coming back to this hotel.

An extraordinary greeting by front desk team and mngr Patrick Barwise...I made an error on my rez and it was corrected in minutes. We travel quite a bit for work and rarely get the acknowledgment and greeting we get at Mansion on Forsythe. Cheers to the entire staff!

I think this is actually the wedding planners fault but me and my wifes food was forgotten and although staff tried to serve us late, it came out lukewarm and looked to be half portions. At one point hotel security tried to kick out the childrens magician for the wedding because no one had told them who the person was or what they where doing there. Overall I had a terrible time and I wonder if the wedding planner had planned and coordinated better I would have enjoyed my time here. The wedding planner is from bgm wedding planning her name is Comika and I suggest that the mansion no longer does business with this company since I can no longer do business with the mansion in good faith as this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a wedding.

We stayed for our honeymoon and loved it. Ask for the honeymoon suite, its the same price as a standard king room but has an open tub layout! Very comfy bedding and amazing staff. The bar closed before we arrived and there were no vending machines but the man at the desk was able to get my husband a coke anyways which I thought was really nice!

When we called they said room service was until 11, but they closed at 10 unfortunately. (Maybe because of covid?) Also, it would have been nice if they served complimentary breakfast, but they did have it available for a charge.

Beautiful hotel, I would definitely stay again.

We went to the Mansion for my 45th birthday and the manager Elisa was wonderful. So was Shana the concierge. Elisa worked it out so we could have two rooms with two beds so no one had to share. The Cooking School there was wonderful. The valets and bell boys were fantastic. Gavin at the bar was wonderful in coming up with non-alcoholic drinks for the non drinkers in the group.
The bill was messed up and the front desk staff were had an attitude about it, which affected the stay a little. Overall I would stay there again. Just watch out for cranky front desk staff. WARNING: Do not buy ANYTHING from the art gallery there. I am still waiting on the painting I purchased. I had to call three times and the art director was rude when I finally reached her. She didnt ship the painting when she said she would and did not returned any of my calls.

Welcoming, pristine, dreamy location, and well appointed -- as in over-the-top nice place. So impressive what modern and thoughtful layout they came up with in this Victorian building. Mammoth park is across the street with the mossy oak and landmark fountain. Great spot for people watching, romantic walks, re-reading Midnight in the Garden, selfie shots...but there is a public restroom there that attracts degenerates and a creepy Confederate sculpture. Get with the program, folks. Anyway, the hotel...it's clean, has a metro feel interior, and expensive. Treat yourself, you deserve it.

Very unique setup. Extravagant decor, comfortable rooms and beds, nice pool, and conveniently located next to the biggest and best park (Forsyth) in Savannah. The complimentary shuttle will take you down to Bay street. Another great perk!

Elegant, beautiful location with art pieces throughout the entire hotel. This hotel was amazing and definitely worth the money. From the ambiance and friendly staff to the luxurious room and bed...everything was perfect. This hotel actually made us not want to leave our room and explore savannah! Great experience for our 1st time in savannah.

What a beautiful location and outstanding renovation. The staff was exceptionally nice if a bit under staffed for an afternoon crunch, but the bar more then made up for a long line (which I could add is a good problem for a business to have). The bartender was helpful, fast and flexible with a team of some 15 folks asking for all kinds of things. Would recommend strongly then go walking from there. It's in a great local spot.

My mom and I stayed here for two days, but I wish we could have stayed for the whole week! The rooms are luxurious, the staff courteous and kind, and the beds comfortable. Make sure you leave time to check out the complementary steam showers in the spa downstairs. Thanks for a great get away!

I had a fantastic stay here last year. Still reminiscing. I was treated so nicely by the staff and the spa is outstanding. It is in the center of the historic district. I strongly recommend strolling from the hotel to Gryphon Cafe for high tea and some of their delicious lavender scones.

What a wonderful place! The location is great, the rooms and mansion are beautiful and clean, and the staff is AMAZING! They start the stay on a great note and end it there too. Highly recommend. I will stay here again in the future.

Wow! That's all I can say. I was expecting old and stuffy or weird based on reviews from TripAdvisor, but the price enticed so we went and boy was it nice! It's got the 5 star feel all the way. My only complaint and it really doesn't take away from the hotel was all the abstract art. I'm not an art expert but some of that stuff was downright creepy. We've been to Savannah a few times and the hotel was so good, we'd go back to go to the hotel (not for Savannah).

We actually had a great experience here, the rooms were awesome. When we checked in the woman at the front desk stated they did not have any cribs for us (we ordered at time of booking). We stated that we ordered one when we booked the room, she said so did the other people. We asked they they do something about it, of which we did not get a response. After showing that we were livid, we were comped cocktails and an appetizer. We ended-up making a make-shift bed from a movable mattress and pillows. I would have thought they would have gone further to make the situation right. It was disappointing.

Amazing business stay! Cedrick (bellman) met me in the drive and extended the warmest of welcomes to make our stay that much more cozy and amazing!

Rooms were edgy-fun-clean-and large, staff was super helpful, coffee (in the rooms was good too)!!

Great place to stay!

Delicious brunch and beautiful location.

The service was excellent and very attentive.
I was allowed to customize my order of waffles to my taste and the food was served hot and very timely.

Lots of lovely artwork and mirrors throughout the mansion, I recommend visiting if just for the experience alone.

I hope to return!

The menu was fair priced and I spent as much here as I would at other brunch places.
The ambience however was unmatched. I definitely plan to come back when I am in Savannah and will recommend this place to all of my friends!

A tourist destination for the more well off. They have an ATM which costs $4.00 to make withdrawals, which I've used during events at Forsyth. Thinking about it, the sentient bean has a cheaper ATM.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Mansion. Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the free shuttle driver. Great location, beautiful rooms with extremely comfortable beds. We were celebrating our anniversary and we came back to our room to a very nice surprise! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! We cant wait to come back!

Very disappointed in this hotel. Got woken up at 2 am to evacuate due to a "fire", never saw a fire or smelled smoke. When we returned to the hotel the front desk said "welcome back"..are you kidding me..no we're sorry for the inconvenience or anything. I paid a total of $340 FOR ONE NIGHT.. $27 just to park!! Checked in at 4pm...got woken up at 2 am, couldn't go back to sleep till about 4am and had to leave at 11!! When I talked to the manager all I received was an "I'm sorry" . So much for a much needed romantic, relaxing getaway with the huddy!! Yes things happen but the fire in their kitchen was NOT my fault and they could have done something accommodate us!

I stayed in The Mansion recently for an event and so my room was at an event rate of $189/night; normally my room would have been $459/night from what I understand. In my opinion, both rates are a lot of money and way too much for what I experienced.
Day 1: decided to take a bath in the jet tub. The drain was broken and wouldn't drain after the bath. Also took a shower and the water sprayed out of the shower all over the marble floor (so slippery!). The bed was also pretty uncomfortable.
Day 2: I was awoken by loud banging. They were doing construction on the room next to mine the entire time I was there. It would start at 7am and wouldn't end until after 6pm. Not only did the staff doing the construction let doors slam and use power tools but the would stand and talk loudly right outside my door.
Day 3: ordered some room service because I was a little under the weather. Hair in my soup.
Day 4: stopped by the hotel bar to grab a coca cola. The bartender told me she wasn't open for another 14 minutes and I'd have to wait. I asked if there was a soda machine anywhere and she said, "I am the soda machine". OK.
I could go on with the bad. The only good I have is to say that both shuttle drivers I had were awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable.
In general the staff was cold and pretentious, the space was cramped and musty, the ambiance was murdery. If I were paying $89 a night for this nonsense, I'd shrug. As an Autograph collection hotel at many hundreds of dollars a night, I really expected better.
The Mansion has an incredible reputation but it clearly has stopped doing whatever it took to gain that reputation. This hotel has a long way to go to live up to the hype. I'm unsure if my experience was related to being a part of the event or if it's always like this but I'd say don't stay here and if you're hosting an event this is not the place to wow your guests.

As a traveler that has been many places all over the world, this is bar far my favorite hotel. So charming and historic, but chic and trendy at the same time. 5 stars all the way. Awesome staff and wonderful service. The courtyard and pool are amazing . Very much worth the money. Enjoy!!

Tracy who works at the front desk made our trip exceptional! We were actually supposed to be on another trip & Tracy went above and beyond to make our trip special. It ended up making this trip just as good & probably better then our original plans!!!

Stayed here on my wedding night. As a local we've lots of things about it. It was such a nice room, huge tub, and they even left us a bottle of champagne. Will definitely recommend this place to people for special events.

We had an excellent stay at Mansion on Forsyth for two nights. The staff was excellent and very attentive, especially Kathryn the manager. We had breakfast there and it was exquisite. Room was comfortable, spacious, opulent and clean. Right on beautiful Forsyth Park and 10 minutes to restaurants, bars and shops. About 15 min walk to river. Lots to do in Savannah and this is an awesome spot to get to everything easily.

I would have given this 10 stars if they were available. Everything about this Autograph Collection Hotel was perfect and provided 5 star service from Valet Parking to Door Attendants to Front Desk Personnel. Beautiful furniture and original art adorned the walls. Just gorgeous and I was finally reminded what it means to stay at a luxury hotel. I will return someday and stay longer next time. I found out after we left that there may have been a haunted history at the hotel (Savannah is known to have some haunted places). Maybe this explains seeing something out of the corner of my eye 3 times and the TV going off loudly at 4:00 AM by itself? Can't wait to return. FYI, I was a little concerned at first making a reservation with the bath having a curtain and was wondering if there was a shower or not since I couldn't find any photos of it. Yes, my room had a separate shower, the bathroom had a door and the curtain for the tub was sufficient and was extremely nice. No worries.

Wonderful first class experience from arrival through check-in. They have it dialed in for making you feel welcome! I would hesitate to call it a hotel but more like a modified mansion/art exhibition. There are paintings and beautiful sculptures around every corner! A sensory experience for sure...
Valet parking is $30.00 a day but if you need you car they retrieve it right away.
The rooms are wonderful too and ours had a king size bed. Room 321 does view the park but also overlooks the entrance where the hotel guests arrive so there was some noise from car doors, etc even on the 3rd floor.
The bathroom is interesting as it has a two panel door that opens near the bed revealing the garden tub and yes a frosted glass door where the toilet is. Say HELLO to your partner when you are doing your business if those doors are open. Also the toilet area is an echo chamber so if you are a bashful couple...be forewarned. :)
The river area is a mile away so walking will test your level of endurance. Driving is a challenge as the streets are a little wacky with these crazy yield intersections where you can't tell who goes when. We took an Uber and it was $6.00 each way.
Overall...5 stars and a great visit and "hotel".

This place is elegant and gorgeous! The services were wonderful, and our room was beautiful. The location is so close to every business and historical site. The only downside is the room we were in was pretty dusty and there is no parking lot, you have to find your own place on the side of the street.

Had a lovely experience at this hotel! The ladies at the front desk were so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. Located in the center of Savannah, this hotel offers much history, comfort, and charm. They offer valet parking and free shuttles to and from the different hotels. My double queen room was so very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Savannah!

We had the most amazing time celebrating our wedding anniversary here. Exceptional service beginning with Dewayne. After unloading our bags from the car he noticed a gift bag (from my husband to me) he made sure to hide the bag in the closet so I couldn t see it. It made for a great moment and surprise later. Melissa was also a pleasure, making sure all of our needs were taken care of all the way up until we checked out. Food was great and interesting art. Definitely recommend!!!
