Very modern 5 star. Staff were very very good. Although we did find it difficult to understand one member. Can't really grumble at the food and drink. Prices are what you would expect. Lovely location on balcony. Would be lovely to stay over one day.

Always a pleasure to hold meaningful meetings at The Lowry Hotel. Excellent service accompanied with "good smelling coffee" complimented with olives, crisps & nuts. Quiet, peaceful seating area with live music during certain evenings.

Got this at a good price via a 3rd party, and it was cheap for the price in a hotel in spinning fields. The rooms very spacious but there were so many wear and tears in our room. Bed side cabinets all scuffed, desk scratched and marks on the wall. Considering it's where the footballers stop before a game I'm sure they stop in the room I was in. Staff were good and the food was nice. would not come if paying full price. 4/5

Very kind, helpful staff creating a good atmosphere.
Attention to details (which kind of water you prefer in the room, etc).
The room was fantastic: spacious, comfortable, with big desk and comfortable sofa.
Excellent breakfast in terms of quality and diversity.
Strongly recommend.

1 star is harsh I know, but I reckon- given the prices here- entirely fair. From the point of view of a place to sleep, as you'd expect, pretty classy affair; massive soft bed, big room with magazine-worthy decor, luxurious(ish) bathroom. More

Excellent food and service.

Excellent food and service.
We had a red letter experience which included a 3 course champagne meal.
The menu was delicious and had a lovely evening.
Also has a nice terrace to enjoy drinks after meal.

I went for Sunday dinner with family for a birthday treat and it was very enjoyable. Cannot comment on rooms as we did not stay over, but the hotel reception, bar and restaurant were very nice, with a relaxed layout. The food was fantastic, we had a Sunday lunch which included beef and Yorkshire puddings which was very well done, and I cannot recommend the chocolate cake enough! Fantastic! There was a piano player/singer during lunch which gave a very relaxed feel, and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Drinks were expensive but was to be expected. Would definitely return for dinner and hopefully stay over next time too!

Was there to spend my birthday weekend with my partner. It is a very good hotel with high standard services. rooms are spacious with huge comfy bed. Mini bar if you wish to use it is there for you too. Free WiFi, safe, hairdryer and all other essentials you need. The food served by the hotel is nice too. If there the spa is a must. Very good service there, staff friendly and helpful. All in all had a great birthday there.

This hotel is trading on it's reputation. The rooms are tired and it in need of a revamp. The furniture was chipped and the desk chair was damaged (see photo). We were greeted upon arrival by a porter who said he was unable to help us with our luggage as he was recovering from illness. We found that our room had not been serviced so had to be reallocated. The staff were overstretched as there was insufficient of them to cope at busy times. I won't be returning.

The Lowry Hotel was a 10 minute taxi ride away from the main training station. Upon arriving I was immediately surprised by the courteous staff and the lobby was professionally engaging. Whilst I was there for a conference (the conference suite was awesome and WiFi was fast) I will seriously consider The Lowry Hotel as a place to stay when I'm back in Manchester. Great customer service!
