On the way to the Lowry my wife twisted her ankle, she was in a lot of discomfort, the restaurant staff and all the Lowry staff could not do enough to help her to be as comfortable as possible. Top marks for that. Also the meal was excellent, nicely presented and very tasty. Again I cannot praise the restaurant staff enough for their attention and concern for ourselves to enjoy this special occasion.

I have been to many hotels in Manchester including the malmason and the Hilton, but the Lowry offers a fresh feel with oodles of space. The room was impressive. It was large, with a cool looking red chair and a lovely bathroom. However, to top the experience was the breakfast the next day, which was exceptional. Left the Lowry wishing I could return

Excellent location, beautiful hotel for events, I attended for China forum on Wednesday and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Allegedly a five star establishment however most breakfast times they food on the buffet wasn't restocked and two days I wasn't even asked if I wanted tea or coffee

This is one of my best hotels in the whole world so many good memories i love the hotel i dont think i would change hotels if i went to manchester

Lovely afternoon tea but did not like the SERVICE CHARGE i always tip for good service and i feel wee did not get that good a service and had no choice in the matter
But on top of that I paid by master card and it asks if you want to tip again just not on

Breakfast a great selection plus a freshly cooked option.

Room wasn't vacuumed. Heating didn't work on a cold night. Breakfast was good but after waiting a while had to request breakfast bowls and fruit were replenished. The staff however were excellent when called upon and had impeccable manners each and every one from bar to restaurant and reception. Disappointing really and yet could have been excellent.

Lovely hotel with great facilities and luxury bedrooms. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because a cleaner came into my room at 7:30am!

It is close to the commercial area, the food of the restaurant is good, the rooms are comfortable, all accessible. But normally in hotels that have been in Manchester at least have a plug adapted to charge, here they More

Good food, service was excellent, location and entrance road not great

Here to pick things up but staff were nice and some were helpful. Not sure about the rooms etc but did see a lot of the kitchens

Had a meal with family on my son's birthday. Liked the place thought service was good

We stayed here for mine and my other half s anniversary and they upgraded our room for free, took our bags to the room, food was amazing but quite pricey but still... worth the money! The bath fits two people and the view is beautiful. It s definitely worth the visit and the stay and we really enjoyed our stay

Lovely place, excellent service. Catered well for vegetarians.

Over priced and a shell of its former self. No recpition area just a table next to the lifts, charged my card for extras that I had not used after I had left without my permission. AVOID AT All COSTS.

Visited for a tech event, venue was nice and the staff were helpful.

The food was good, however the menu descriptions were poor. Two of our party thought they had to order chips as sides, but they came with mash, which wasn't mentioned (even though it was larger than the meat). The waiters didn't think to comment. They did stop the gentleman who ordered steak from having a side of chips as his came with them, but failed to tell him no vegetables were included with his order as standard.
No food allergy information is included.
The doorman was very helpful, and was able to locate us a disabled parking space at the front of the hotel.

Decent afternoon tea, but the Midland Hotel afternoon tea still beats it hands down.

Great place, good food and ambience, plenty of hassle free, safe parking which is a huge positive in Manchester.

The service was excellent. The soup. Carrot and coconut was delicious. The roast beef was a little to rare for me. But the rest of the Sunday lunch was lovely. The rhubarb desert was also delicious. The surroundings was very comfortable.

Very accommodating staff for some late night drinks.

We stayed hear a few years ago and it was fine. Now, this hotel is basically a large building site. Main lobby and bar closed and wasn't informed on booking. Furniture in the room very tired, worn and damaged. Not even close to what you would expect from 5 stars! I wish we had gone to the Radisson Blu this time! Maybe it will be nice once they finish the refurbishment!!!!

We went to the restaurant for an afternoon tea, which was lovely. We were treated like royalty and as it was my girlfriend's birthday, she got an extra surprise from the staff

World Class hotel that has perfected the basics and gone above and beyond in extra amenities and attention to detail. Excellent front desk, concierge, clean and spacious rooms, mini bar with alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, tea and coffee pot, etc.

Overall a very impressive hotel with great service, however was disappointed to be charged for car parking despite spending money on afternoon champagne tea for which any member of public not a resident would receive free parking, not very fair to residents

Food ok but wine overpriced and service was good to begin but slowed to a standstill (took 2.5 hours for 2 courses).

First class Hotel . Had a wonderful afternoon tea with proseco. Staff were friendly, atmosphere brilliant. ..would definitely go again .

We took our very soon to be 7 yr old daughter for afternoon tea. It was superb. The concierge gave her a birthday card signed by some of the staff and they later brought out a little treat at the end too finish off the day. The food was great and the afternoon was well worth it. We will be back!

Had a Groupon meal for two. Excellent food, beautifully presented and good service. The voucher price was very good value.

I had read some really negative reviews about the restaurant here, so was understandably a little apprehensive about my visit. Truth is the meal was faultless, the service was superb and we had an excellent evening. I don't understand how people can post such negative comments. Would recommend this place and would definitely return.

We had a great experience here for our 10th wedding anniversary. We had the couples spa package with a meal in the Riverside restaurant. Friendly and excellent service from all staff. We d recommend.
