Afternoon tea purchased on Groupon and we would definitely reccomened it.Staff were brilliant so attentive and courteous.Tea was lovely sandwitches, cakes, and warm scones were beautiful.Will definitely be going back.
Lovely modern looking interior. Staff were locking the back entrance as we were arriving. I believe it was because Man United was just arriving for their over night stay. A bit unfriendly if you were arriving from the other side of the river and had to make the long trip around to the front in the bitter cold. Staff were friendly and helpful as well. The food was fantastic, however they had us cutting our steaks with butter knives. Bar service was fast and with a smile. Overall a very nice visit.

Was at the Lowry for a work training conference. Great location & easy to find. Staff very hospitable & lovely food.

Definitely not the luxury hotel it thinks it is. You feel like a problem rather than a true guest.

Has afternoon tea there. Lovely and spacious, staff are warm and friendly. The prices are a bit ridiculous since I opted for a soft drink instead of tea. But that's what you get with a 5* Hotel I guess.
Great theater and exhibitions. Fantastic at night , easy parking basement car park. Good access to places to eat afterwards.

I was at The Lowry for a work event. The facilities were very good. Our lunch catering was very tasty and the greet at the door was exceptional.

I stayed at this hotel not long ago and it was really nice. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The rooms are big and spacious and bed was quite comfortable too. The customer service was friendly, professional and I would definitely recommend this hotel. However, the spa was lacking a pool area hence the 4*. Otherwise the experience was lovely. Thanks guys

Stayed here with some girlfriends, and this place is amazing! Lovely rooms, dining areas and staff. Super friendly and helpful. Why only 3 stars? Disappointed that a 5 star hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, especially since they have a spa. Also, they have just had a new system installed for reservations and payments etc, and it was pretty shambolic, still not entirely convinced that that I haven't overpaid. Super confusing, for the staff as well as us guests. It took my friends 40 minutes to check in, and we had major problems and confusion with both our reservation and checkout/payment. Hopefully this is a temporary hiccup...........

I saw Chris Ramsay here in 2017 and the venue is nice but a little dated. The seats are somewhat uncomfortable, but the intermission in his show allowed for a small bit of respite from this.. I can only imagine what it must be like having your cheeks forcibly parked in one of them for more than 2 hours though!
Excellent service, lovely staff and the food was delicious!! We had Roast beef Sunday lunch with wine and desserts after, it was fantastic!! 5*****+
This hotel really is 5 star, we had afternoon tea there. This was a voucher gift we received from my sister in law. It was lovely, not something to do if you are hungry though .
5 stars are little to describe this hotel! Great staff, very clean and tidy rooms and suites. The ballroom is excellent and it has great views! It's a jewllery in the middle of Manchester!
Great hotel and venue. Visited recently for a conference and the facilities were second to none. Fantastic location in the city, very easy to get to. Only minor issue is the building work at front but not the end of the world!
Very nice looking venue, big rooms and nice washrooms. Current construction in the area ruins the view and makes it pretty difficult to get to.

First class service at this hotel only let down by rooms which are in need of some TLC. This is the hotel where Man Utd regularly stay (they were there when I was) and Jose Mourinho famously spent his entire career so I would hope there is a little cash to fix things like gaps in carpet and crack in glass desk top, especially given the price of the rooms normally. However its a hotel with personality and especially pleased with the live music in the bar.

Nice, professionally run hotel in the centre of Manchester. Excellent food and spacious rooms. Four stars because, the Chromecast support no longer works in the TVs so I could not stream Netflix, I let the front desk know. The food was excellent but initially getting it delivered to my room was painful, firstly no menu in the room, I tried to request the menu, but instead a cleaner (who didn't speak English) came with towels to my room. Second attempt call to room service and the phone was put down on me, final attempt someone picked up but it took another ten mins or so for the menu to finally be delivered. Once I ordered it took a good 40 minutes for the food (which was excellent) to be delivered. Ended up having to have some snacks from the mini bar as I waited for the food to get delivered.
