Spacious rooms, a really big window that covers the whole wall really comfy bed nice seatings for the restaurant and on top of all that really cheap for 5 star hotel

We were looking for somewhere to enjoy a really good afternoon tea with something different to just cute looking little sandwiches... and we found just the place at The Lowery Hotel. The food was deliciously different especially the lamb & mint roll. The staff was fabulous and the service 2nd to none. I will certainly be recommending this place but more importantly, watch this space as I will be returning for more culinary delights

The arrogant lady at the reception called Hayley should learn some manners .

Lovely for drinks/cocktails. Tucked away from the hustle of Spinningfields and offers a welcome alternative to the office worker crowd

Staff were excellent, hotel restaurant was classy and vibrant

great to sit in the terrace in the sun for lunch. Steak sandwich was too small, steak cooked well but the baguette it came on was burnt and nearly broke my teeth! service was slow and the service charge was a piss take!

The rooms where big and well furnished. There was a building site opposite but couldn't hear any of it. The breakfast was a great choice. Spa and gym was well staffed and good equipment. Staff overall were very friendly and helpful, recommend a local restaurant that was great and just what we wanted.

Food tastes fine, small portions though and they kind of play at being posh. With so many places to eat i'd probably pick somewhere else (if you can).

Excellent hotel. Staff are all very efficient and helpful. The decor is luxurious with some great event spaces, meeting rooms and restaurant.. the food is incredible!

Delighted by such warm hospitality. We will definitely stay again when visiting Manchester. To mention in particular Kim on front desk and the Canadian concierge (so sorry-didn t get your name) for their professionalism and friendly service. Very well done indeed. Attended for the everywoman conference. Lovely conference facilities, the food and staff were great.

Lovely hotel such a shame about the noise, staff were great, room was great, very central location, booking was easy, very clean. Sadly the function that was on meant we had very little sleep. The music was bouncing of our walls, we did call down to reception twice and was told they would turn it down but never happened. I really hate to leave a negative review however paying so much a night to have an upgraded room we really should have been able to enjoy a nights sleep. The next morning a lovely member of reception staff gave us free parking and a free upgrade on our next stay and was very accommodating but we was so tired. Really nice staff

My business plans changed and therefore I had to cancel my room. The hotel refused the cancellation and said they would charge the full amount to my credit card (including optional breakfast) claiming it was because I'd purchased in advance !? Be warned. Lousy customer service.

Nice staff, unatmospheric bar and restaurant. Food was nice but unfortunately roast dinner was tepid.

One of the great attractions of The Lowry is everything works and it is incredibly user friendly. A joy to stay there.

Spacious and comfortable room. Excellent location within walking distance from city centre. Nice breakfast area with great views of the Trinity Bridge and the English breakfast was good. You may see the football stars if you were lucky, though I didn't.

Sunday lunch. Quite ordinary. Nice staff, but can't get much right. Nice food, but not five star dining. Pleasant ambiance.

There was no chairs at the event. Limited food and water supplied for those working. Otherwise a lovely hotel with great staff

Enjoyed a great event at the Lowry Hotel with our professional association. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful ensuring the event was very enjoyable. Parking costs are reasonable considering the location.

Food is great. Staff are the most polite in the north west. Rooms are great. If you support Manchester United and you want to go to see a match this is the best Hotel to stay in

Have visited the Lowry Hotel for Afternoon Tea and Lunch and on both occasions the experience was very pleasant.

The setting is classy, the views from the terrace/balcony are rather cool and the service is always top notch.

Great room. Well finished and good size. Not cheap - they even charge for you to park. Good location for city centre.

Excellent. Last min booking got city view which is of car park, but didn't matter as room was beautiful. King bed comprised of two singles but really comfy and made larger than a king. Fantastic hotel great staff, will come again.

Lovely hotel, staff couldn't have been more helpful or polite, evening meal and breakfast were both delicious and service was spot on.

Very good hotel, I surely will stay here again if I visit Manchester again.

Manchester's best hotel without question. Large rooms with stylish interiors and lots of comfort. Really good location alongside the River Irwell and close to Deansgate. Decent parking

Great function room for the maras 2016. Had a great time, food was nice, staff very friendly.

Lovely hotel and the staff are great. The room was very large and spotlessly clean. The bar area was good and really nice cocktails.
Only down side was my partner's breakfast was only just warm.

Attended a lunch event earlier this month. Great location and fab foyer and bar area.

Quite swanky setting, with many proffessionals in attendance throughout the day and evening. Very good a la carte menu, but towards the top end of the price scale. Staff are amazing, attentive, and courteous. Great for family meals, baby showers, wedding meals, the spa an meetings.

The food was excellent and the pianist played a great selection of music

The hotel sits next to the canal and has great views, the staff are pleasant and courteous.

Not worth 5 star rating bathroom was dirty and nt well upkept bed also hurt my back, staff were friendly and location was good

Attended a business lunch in the restaurant. Very, very good food (I had the rabbit) which was well worth the money. Staff were all very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. The view is pleasant (as far as a city centre restaurant can offer) with waterside views. An additional benefit was free parking in the multi storey car park directly opposite the hotel. All in all, a very good experience.
