All staff were very friendly and accommodating from reception through to the restaurant, spa and room service. We celebrated my mums birthday at the Hotel and the staff added extra sparkle making her the guest of the day with a some lovely surprises along the way. I would like to thank Hayley, Kelly and Natasha in particular for organising the extra sparkle, thank you ladies <br/>I would highly recommend the Lowry and will be sharing our lovely stay with friends
Beautiful hotel just let down by the receptionist on our stay.
Lots of drilling noise and loud music in the upstairs bar.
dream hotel because Manchester United's squad stay there.
Decent hotel, great customer service, great location with on site parking and the cleaners were perfect, but I expected more from the room of a 5 star hotel. Seems to be ageing and the bed was quite uncomfortable, seemed like under the bed sheet it had a layer of mattress topper on top of the mattress that wasn t very comfortable.
On the plus side when I was there the Argentinian football team was staying in the hotel, including Messi. Maybe this is the best Manchester has to offer?
Great service, amazing breakfast. Who cares about the room view, are you going to sit in the room all day?!
Very good value with the Groupon deal. Food and service were both great.
We stayed at the Lowry as a 40th birthday treat for my wife. They treated us very well, the room was excellent and the food was second to none.
Today I took both my parents and my auntie , All in their mid 80s , for afternoon tea, to celebrate my aunties birthday that was in December
Thank You to all the staff they really made it special, the food was exceptional also the service, the concierge was lovely and helpful.
My parents are now planning their next visit,
Thank you again
Yours Mrs Barbara Crumlish
Lovely facilities and service. Nothing negative about the experience at all
Beautiful restaurant, lovely staff and excellent food
Wonderful king deluxe room. Helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.
Great place to hold a function and food sets itself apart from typical offering. Staff wonderfully professional. Recommended
A great hotel, right in the centre of the City within walking distance of Northern Qtr, Spinningfields and the canal. Staff were friendly and attentive and the building is nice and modern.
Lovely meal in the bistro, good wine selection. Staff were lovely
Fantastic place, great coffee in the bar area, made a very professional guy George
Beautiful!.. Amazing rooms and great service.. I recommend this hotel as a Must Stay!
The hotel is conveniently located close to Salford Central train station. We enjoyed dinner there on a a Sarurday evening. We were seated quickly and the service we received was very good throughout.
Had a lovely 2 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. Room was lovely and amenities very good also. Location wise it is a short walk to the Manchester arndale shopping centre which is great news.
Amazing! We arrived in a taxi and had someone open the door for us and greet us by carrying our bag up the steps, the staff were all really nice and friendly, the room was outstanding, very clean and modern, nice walk in wardrobe and huge bed which was very comfy, air con is very nice as well as I get hot easy, modern tv with smart apps, nice relaxing chairs in the room. The reception called us a taxi where ever we needed to go it was great, will be staying here again no doubt!. High recommend this place to anyone.
Went for dinner. Food was very nice, service prompt and polite.
Brilliant. Highly recommend, for personal stay or business events
Afternoon tea was well presented and fresh. Easy to get to. Haven't stayed at the hotel so no comment on rooms but the staff I have had contact with have all been polite and helpful.
Went there for a conference. Was very well organised and the facilities are just amazing.
I and 11 of my friends booked and had afternoon tea at the hotel in celebration of my sisters 50th. The date was Saturday 12/01/19 and we had booked directly with the hotel and not via any January deal or groupon. To sum up the experience, More
It should have been amazing .... room was OK apart from broken lamp and tap in the bath..and this morning no knock on door but the chambermaid barged in not once but twice in half an hour, not acceptable!!
The scenery is disappointing, but it was a nice room and a delicious meal that was more than enough to compensate. I also want to use it when I go to England. Should the landscape be improved if redevelopment is completed
I attended an awards ceremony early this week. The service was swift and it was clean. It looks brilliant at night coming from across the bridge. The food was much better than I was expecting (perhaps a little unfairly!). Overall for hosting an event it was certainly an excellent venue.
I've just been called by the Lowry Hotel Manchester to cancel 2 rooms for this Saturday Night that I've had booked for over 6 months because they have substantially 'overbooked' the Hotel - anybody else been 'bumped' by the Hotel recently?
Very kind, helpful staff creating an excellent atmosphere. A special thank you to Simoen for being so attentive. The new owners of the Lowery are certainly improving the overall customer experience and therefore my wife and I will be returning soon.
Had been bought a Sunday lunch gift card for Xmas. Purchased the bread roll platter as a appetizer .NOT the best, bread rolls were over cooked and hard. Sunday roast was excellent as were the deserts.our waitress was polite , although the mains were served to.the table before the starters were cleared
Very good hotel, clean room, comfortable bed but we have had lots of problem with our direct booking on The Lowry website. Very confusing as we booked for 3 people which they offer us 2 rooms but when we get there we had one room with extra bed!!! I didn't ch3ck the confirmation email as I thought everything is fine but I learned and I never go back to this hotel. ( Its very good hotel but I didn't have good experience).
Went with a friend as part of a Groupon deal. We had a two course lunch with a glass of Prosecca. Menu was a fixed menu with four choices for each course.
Food was good and hot and served on hot plates (which seems to be unusual these days).
Whilst initial service was OK there wasn't much attention paid afterwards.
Booked on for a spa break. The staff and hotel are excellent. Food and drink is very good quality however is pricey. The rooms are large and spacious including a mini bar.
It would be a 5 star of only the doors had a greater range of facilities
Lovely Hotel with very friendly service. Nothing is too much you only have to ask and they think of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Will definitely return
Writing this after Virgin Experience and the hotel both chose to ignore my feedback that they both requested.Low quality factory produced and microwave heated food tailored and costed for the voucher experience.Never fall for a voucher deal again.
Very spacious and comfortable room. Nothing was a problem with the staff. Excellent food too.
The hotel itself is great but the some of the staff attitude has been disappointing for a five stars hotel! For breakfast I asked to sit on a table near the window to enjoy the view, and the waitress didn t want to prepare it at first. I had to ask why and insist. Also I forgot an item in the room and when I called reception to try and get it back a week later, they said that nothing was found and there was nothing they could do (after pretending to check with the the cleaning staff and putting me on hold for 10 seconds). Whereas I know that the item was there. Very disappointing!
Nice selection and drinks at the bar and a nice place. Would happily return.
Hotel was clean staff friendly and helpful in reception. Not sure about the car park across the road. Restaurant food was ok had better in a 5 star establishment. Waiters sometimes slow especially at breakfast. Comfortable beds. Nice view from room.
Beautiful hotel, service was very poor, however this has been addressed.
A great Central location for everything in the city
As you would expect an excellently presented hotel, reception and concierge were very friendly and helpful, as were the bar staff adding that extra warm welcome to our stay.
The room was spacious, simple and well appointed with a large comfortable bed, making the Lowry absolutely perfect for our night out in Manchester and a great base for seeing the city.
Very classy place / staff very friendly / breakfast awesome / 10 out 10 highly recommend
Very nice event, well organised and catered. Only marked down because it was quite a plain decor and setting compared to similar hotels.
Quite simply five star quality ! From the reception , through to the Spa , this is an excellent Hotel , with real style and the most hospitable staff on hand to greet and assist ! The Spa in particular I recommend , true luxury !
The Lowery Hotel is a beautiful hotel . A quiet modern reception with bar and resteraunts up a sweeping staircase . We attended for drinks , although we only had coffees and speciality teas . Delightful but not cheap . Nice settings with a view of the river Irwell .
Fabulous food. Excellent service delivered with class. A must.
Visited on a works conference and stayed over night. Hotel was very nice. Bar prices high and parking non existent, other than that all good
Having stayed at this amazing hotel with work for a training school this week I just wanted to say the service was excellent so very impressed .I want to mention a young waiter in the bar who gave us the most amazing customer service, he really was 1st class his name was Zak i would be grateful If you would pass on our thanks. The young man was working on 23rd March evening.
Food is exceptional, not sure I would give it 5 stars, a very good 4 star hotel
We have used this hotel numerous times over the year's and it's always excellent.. This time there was major construction work going on directly opposit and close to the hotel.. Would like to have been told.. Although inside everything's as excellent as usual..the ambiance has just changed.
Greet room. Comfortable bed. Good v good but background noise in bedroom terrible. M be hotel Aircon.
Big rooms and very helpful staff. Food served in the bar was bit of letdown
Nice hotel big rooms. Mr Mourinho was in the bar as was the guy from count down and a female actress from coronation street. Mourinho was seriously miserable. What an idiot
Good hotel, convenient location but somehow overall it didn't live up to expectations. Used the bar, where the service was exemplary but dining in the River Room Restaurant was a little flat after that
Had a relaxing meal in the bar. Comfortable large seats. Good food.
Went for afternoon tea. Lovely staff lovely food ! ;)
