Great as always. Far less people during the pandemic. You need to get your tickets before you arrive, even if you are a member. We brought our own lunch as most of the food stands are closed. The tram is still running. Indoor exhabits are closed, so no reptile house or Australia house. The baby gorilla is so cute.

Solid city zoo. Clean and diverse. Best in the early mornings or days that aren't too hot that the animals hide away from the sun. It's a workout getting around so be prepared (there is a shuttle for extra $). Good food options (not cheap, but there's alcohol!) and recently renovated, shaded jungle gym for the littles and parents to rest. Fake Cookie Monster loitering outside offering hugs is creepy to me but I don't know his story. LA Zoo Lights is a fun winter nighttime experience! Toddler-approved (and apparently great date-night experience).

Very fun and cool shows and exhibits. They also have a playground for the kids. It was an awesome experience. The only thing that sucked was parking it was so hard to find parking and when we did find one it was very far one

It was a very fun experience tho price on many things are so high lucky I went on fathers day so on high price things they lowered the price. My daughter wanted a big norwhale plushy she wanted. It originally it was 40 dollars and it cost 21 plus taxes I recommend going on fathers day if it is almost fathers day of course! All in all it was a very fun experience the animals were good feed it seems like.

Became a member last month. To by tickets for events such as zoo lights etc you have email them to get a promo code. (There is no members button or a way to put in your membership #) Ive sent them three requests up to now to get the code. Still no reply. The event will be over by time they reply. Such a horrendous system with no customer service.

It's almost summer and my mind turns back to an action packed semester with another great group of students. One of the best days I ever had was when I went with the "74th Street Elementary School PAL" class for their first field trip to the "L.A. Zoo".

Loved this place!!!! Been here twice and loved it both times! My kids had a blast here! Best day ever! All the animals are there, the place is clean, good price for all day fun! They even have a little play park tour kids can play on while you take a break. You can feed the giraffes, climb on a big tree, and get amazing photos! This trip was for my 1year old birthday! And it really made it special!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

LA Zoo is pretty good...fairly reasonable price to get in, and all the animals you'd ever want to see. Food/drink/gift prices in the park are fairly high...like Disneyland, but you can bring in your own picnic lunch...they prefer you don't bring any cans or glass. Parking is free. Fairly reasonable fun for a day...but it's just a zoo...nothing too exciting.

It's just a nice ambiance. You go and can't help but to enjoy. My only problem is I walked so much my feet are killing me. My 2 year old and 6 year old loved the animals, and the bird show. I can't wait to take more people to enjoy the zoo!

Nice

I truly love our LA Zoo but a lot of the exhibits need some work done. Although I know a lot of improvements had taken place, I feel that their budget can reach higher standards that our kids including our zoo's Pride deserves.

Packed. If you dont want to travel to the San Diego zoo this zoo will do. Tends to get packed as soon as it opens. Bring a hat or an umbrella because you will get tan. Lines are long. Even in the entrance. Stuff here is a bit pricey. Overall it's a decent zoo. I recommend not to venture here on a hot day. Most animals are not active due to heat waves.
