all suite units. love this place. restaurants were under construction so had no chance for it. I heard that they gotta open it mid-Oct 2019. Hotel is luxurious but not super huge like Hilton midtown.

Recently change to a Hilton property and they are still working out some kinks. Overall a very good property. Bar Service in the restaurant was excellent. A shout out to Paul for great service. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant is still a work in progress...let's see how that goes next time. Overall a five star experience
Absolutely gorgeous hotel, amazing staff, and perfect location to Times Square and Central Park. The lobby bar leaves a lot to be desired. Drinks are about 3x over priced and the food is 3.5 stars.
Rooms are fantastic. Plus they offer free shoe shine and have the best showers out of any hotel.
No question, "The London NYC" is THE BEST!! Have celebrated our wedding anniversary in NYC the last two years and stayed at The London both times. The staff is great, they make you feel at home. The rooms are the largest in the city. Location is central to anywhere you want to go in midtown. I would not consider any other hotel in NYC. Management has put together a great team! Unbelieveable Customer Service.
The rooms are quite big and very nice. The best shower. It would have been a five if my breakfast wasn't so extremely disappointing with inattentive service and cold eggs. Given the reputation and price i expected much more.
Our stay at the hotel was average. For the price point, I did expect better. We got a 2-bedroom suite last minute, so we did get a deal on the room. The room itself was average, but no coffee centers in the rooms. We got locked out of our room one night, and it took 2 visits to the front desk and over 30 minutes later to get security to let us into our room. The location is great though and the beds were comfortable.
Conrad Midtown Hotel was a perfect place for a weekend getaway in NYC! The best part was The Dabble conveniently located in the hotel which had great food, drinks and service! Thanks Hjalmar for being so accommodating!
As a very frequent traveler and Hilton Diamond member I can say without a doubt this is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Rooms and fixtures are in terrible condition. Broken tables, blinds and lamps, stained carpets and upholstery. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay and both were in this deplorable condition. The management was discourteous and inept; at one point calling us liars for a mistake they later admitted to. It took 2 days and 4 calls to the manager to get a burned out lamp fixed. Finally the hotel had no running hot water and we had to cut our stay short and move to a different hotel. After the stay the hotel refused to make any concessions and Hilton corporate had to override the hotel's management.
Totally overpriced ($10 bottle of domestic beer...$18 mini-flute glass of prosecco) but I guess that's what you should expect and what you definitely get in a midtown Manhattan hotel bar.
A little bit dated rooms needing some TLC, views not as spectacular as the website portrays even in a suite. Our check-in experience wasn't great either but location good and room clean etc. We enjoyed our stay.
Management need to up their 'hotel' game. We felt like staying at a 3 star whilst paying for a 5 star. Felt so disappointed Regardless the ground team from the doormen, Carl & Patrick; Concierges and Baruk of Room Service. You made our week at the hotel a little bit better. Thank you. You guys rock!
Staff was accommodating. Bathrooms are a bit small and the showers are kind of weird, they don't have a door. There's little to no lights which is a bit disappointing since it gets dark so early
the views were great from our room but the atrium suite did not deliver everything it promised online. we booked it so we can open up the top to get a nice sky view. there was a major complication getting our rooms and then one of the rooms wasn't ready. we went into our room and found the atrium did not function as advertised and we were unable to view the top to check out stars...this was a great disappointment especially since no one even told us it was not usable. we had to call the front desk and after some time was told the bad news. then to add to that we found they misbooked our rooms and had given the rooms we booked to someone else. the service here is terrible. it is very disorganized and there was a huge hold up and random charges added, causing headaches and frustration to what was supposed to be a lovely weekend out. the only plus was the view was nice from such a high floor but this experience will deter our group from ever booking here again unless perhaps at a severely discounted rate. for the amount we paid it was very disappointing.
The London is top notch. Rooms are gigantic, especially by New York's standards. Everything is beautiful, sleek, and modern. Full sized living room, king bed, walk-in closet, and two showers so you can shower simultaneously to save time if you're in a rush to leave. Amenities are nice and concierge/front desk service is accommodating and helpful. Located in midtown, the London is very central and convenient, particularly for business travelers. A fantastic hotel, and a new favorite of mine.
I m only writing this review because so many people are misleading on here. Just booked and stayed here for one night. The hotel is being converted to the Conrad of course so there are some renovations going on. My tip while this is being done is to go up the first flight of stairs Near the elevator and then get on the elevators to go to the rooms. This will cut the wait time other guests mentioned because it does seem the elevators are not all currently in services. Staff was amazing, they re professional and dressed accordingly for a high class hotel. They re respectful and knowledgeable. We stayed on the 45th floor and the view of the park was pretty nice. A few buildings blocked a complete view. The shower was large and modern, the towels, bathroom robes, and sheets were all genuine materials and very soft and cozy. Room service arrived in about 45 minutes and the staff was very professional rolling in the items and setting up on the food while holding a friendly conversation. I also needed a toothbrush, I called down and they politely brought up a kit in about 20 minutes. Overall it was a great experience, amazing location and I d come back.
I am a road warrior spending 4-6 months on the road a year for work. I had begun to lose faith in Hilton as my recent stays at Hampton Inn across the US have been pitiful. Run down properties seemingly at a disconnect with the Hilton mothership. I started to switch to Springhill Suites or Hyatt Place with the newer properties in better locations and before diving all in a decided to give Hilton one last try on a vacation to New York at the London NYC. The difference between this and say a Hampton Inn in the middle of Kentucky with leaky faucets, blood stained sheets, awful coffee, and soured air conditioning? Hilton branding is obvious and with their namesake on the property you could tell they took pride in the service, rooms, and entire experience for guests. So here's the rundown 1. Perfect location for tourists near enough to good Subway stations and Times Square but far enough away to not be in the fray 2. Absolutely stunning room and insane size of the King Suite, not just for NYC but massive room for just about anywhere 3. Room Service food was impeccable, possibly the best salmon and also definitely the best omelets I've ever had (seriously, whoever that chef is I'm going to kidnap them to make me breakfast everyday) 4. Staff was delightful, room service Johnny on the spot 5. Nespresso in the room! 6. Most comfortable bed and pillows ever 7. Actually treat Gold HHonors members like gold. 8. London NYC, YOUR COFFEE FOR BREAKFAST IS TERRIBLE, FIX IT!!! So thank you London NYC for restoring my faith in what I perceive as a declining Hilton empire for utter messes they have made of the dilapidated hell hole properties such as Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, and Hilton Garden Inns I've recently stayed. Hilton, if you are listening, send your London NYC startup people to all your properties to teach them how to cook, clean, and treat guests.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The hassle-free (no password, etc.) free WiFi is a big plus, and the common areas are fancy and clean.
The rooms are comfortable, but in the suite we stayed in the configuration was a bit odd. It feels like two separate rooms; it's not even easy to prop both doors open. The bathrooms are in need of renovation; in mine for example there was a finicky flickering light that was difficult to turn on, there's only a sliding door which makes it feel less private, and the fixtures look dated. I get the feeling that this was once an excellent place, but it's reaching the end of its cycle and needs to be renovated (beyond the free WiFi) for modern expectations.
We stayed for one night for my birthday in a suite on the 31st floor. The room was great - large and with awesome views uptown! The hotel was accommodating in allowing us to drop bags early, check in early and came through with late check-out Sunday. The staff were attentive and helpful. We had lunch there with unique, well-made cocktails and solid food. Breakfast on Sunday was an elaborate buffet. Our server both times remembered us and was great. Highly recommend for a luxury hotel in this area.
Fantastic. Rooms are freshly updated, clean, large. The suite is enormous with modern amenities, large bathroom and shower, minibar, coffee in the room. Overall the checkin was simple and fast. The hotel is quite and comfortable. Staff was very nice.
We chose this hotel because it was close to where we attended the wedding. The staff are very good and the customer experience is very good. The front desk lady is very friendly and approachable. There are many Chinese restaurants nearby, but we don't have time to try. The waiter prompted us to stop. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel s housekeeping is very good, our room is always clean and the smell is very good.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The Atrium Suite had a nice view of Central Park. The location is convenient to a lot of great restaurants and other points of interest. The catered food for the event I attended was also pretty good for hotel fare.
I'm torn about writing this review. The London NYC is probably my new favorite Manhattan hotel, but like lots of other places in Manhattan I'm hesitant to praise them too heavily lest it become so popular I have a hard time going there any more. The staff are competent. The physical building is well located and small enough to navigate quickly. The rooms are well-sized. You can stay *lots* more inexpensively elsewhere, or far more dearly as well. To me, this hotel hits the right mark for value.
Dining in the bar is a pleasant experience. The enjoyable meals on the limited menu are fine. The best dining is inn the dining room, which can be luxurious. Sometimes it's worth it to have professional waiters. We left satisfied for our third meal here.
Our company Adrian Jules stays at the London twice a year, for multiple nights during the MRKT show week because at the London hotel we attend the Custom Tailors and Designers Association tradeshow/event. The Valet helps with unloading and loading of the car, bringing everything up to our room and makes the entering and exiting of the hotel a breeze. Rooms are well kept and well lit, and the atmosphere here is great for the show. Room service and house keeping are top notch. The metro is right around the corner, and the restuarant on the first floor has great food, especially their burger there. If there are ever any needs like a refrigerator or an extra bed, one phone call and it is brought up immediately. I would highly recommend this hotel for attending an event, or just for a regular stay as it is in a great location.
Love the London and will go back. But for years we have been going and the food is always way below par. Room service pancakes took over an hour to get to us and they were cold when they arrived. Restaurant shrimp appetizer crisp on outside put the shrimp were pasty. I don't recommend the food but the rest of the hotel is great!
Very nice hotel, location is close to a lot of things. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a younger trendy hotel, it's not that kind of hotel. Otherwise it's nice.
All suites hotel is amazing for NYC. Very spacious, classy and well decorated. Great location a few blocks from Central Park and near subway. Shouldn t complain given I used a Amex free weekend night certificate.
But the one drawback is even with earplugs the sound of neighbors taking shower woke me up- super early. If I had paid full rate would ve expected better, most important thing in hotel is to get good nights sleep. Wear earplugs and keep bathroom door closed if you re a light sleeper!
Very nice hotel, obvious 4-star treatment. Only problem with a non-4-star person staying in a 4-star hotel is getting used to tipping. Upon checkout I asked if there were any extra charges on the room and she said no. I had to ask for a paper receipt. It wasn't until we were already on the road that we noticed the $7.50 minibar charge. Because we already left we didn't bother going back to argue so we never gave them a chance to fix it, hence the lack of a significant rating drop.
Incredible bruncheon to launch Casa Zeta Jones!!! Salmon on thise little crackers was insanely good!!!! Great brunch and food. Some of the suites need a littlw work on the walls/wall paper. Please note.
A hotel without any doubt of the best service environment food all perfect I really recommend it for your parties and events the view is also impressive I would definitely like to return for a night and have a great time
if you are used to the treatment of Four Seasons, but would like more privacy and not bump into any one you might now ,we say go to London . The London NYC ,has exceptional plates ,that will leave you extremly satisfied, and a soaking tub ,as hydro therapy is the new NY. I would give it 5 stars but it would not be fair for the people that will find it pricey ,I on the other hand feel it was a bargain and a great deal in Manhattan. Enjoy P.S you will thank me later .
very good in all respects, spacious comfortable rooms,a lively bar, excellent food, in casual and formal settings. and location, location, location. would not hesitate to return.
Hotel is currently being renovated. That said we have had no problems were staying on the 51st floor in a dual door room. The views are breathtaking and well worth an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. We are in a newly decorated room and it is very nice. Great toiletries, TVs everywhere but who needs them when you have the views. Having stayed in many hotels I think this is the nicest bed I have ever slept in.
With it being a small lobby, I understand there is not much space to have everybody, but the lack of any chair whatsoever was a tad bit upsetting. Aside from that and some quirks of the Londown Crowne Suite we stayed in, such as a lightbulb in the bathroom and bedroom as well as an LED strip for the curtain lights were not working and our HVAC in the bedroom making a weird rattling noise whenever it started up, it was a pleasant stay. Housekeeping would contact you if you had the "quiet" sign around the door to remind you to contact them to have the room serviced, the food and drink room service was simple and quick, and quite a selection for the complementary American buffet. Great location, being in the city and close to Central Park and around the corner from the train station.
