I stayed with my wife for 8 nights in July 2016. If you go abroad, one of them will always wake up due to jet lag, and if it is a small room it will bother each other, so we reserve a room or suite that is as large as possible. While there are many high and narrow hotels in New York, this hotel is a bit old, but the rooms are 2 rooms separated by doors. I booked a twin with a bathtub, but when I actually entered the room it was a king bedroom so I changed it right away. The view is the city side, but room 4208 had a twin bed bathtub. The location was very convenient and I ran Central Park for 5 days. I used a taxi, but it was always difficult due to traffic. The staff's response is neither good nor bad, isn't the 5 star in New York like this? It is inferior to 5 stars in other countries. However, compared to other hotels in New York, I think we will revisit.

The London NYC is in a great location 3 blocks from Time Square, 3 blocks to 5th have ,4 blocks to Central Park, lots of restaurants.. I like the prices for rooms considering the size.. The part I don't like is the food for room service.. Coffee is great.. I recommend this hotel..

Generally, I live in a bit of a hodgepodge. The room is large and comfortable, although it is a bit old. The club lounge is nice with a great open-air terrace (and friendly staff, the best English people we met in Japan), but with limited snacks and no mixers, although they still have many types Spirits. The area is a big disappointment, there is nothing on the island, this hotel has a shopping experience in a shopping mall more than death, it is directly linked to a subway station, but mainly because you do not want to go. It may not be for business, but it is not ideal for leisure. The breakfast was very disappointing, there was no good coffee, the staff was not enough, so the service was affected and the food was satisfactory.

Amazing hotel, the staffs were professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and equipped with luxury items in the room. Everything was high tech. Room service here is super fast and efficient. The bar downstairs was good also a bit pricy on the drinks. The food was amazing. Dessert was wonderful. Bartender was very impressive and helpful. Overall great experience and will be coming back soon. The price for a night for a room can range from 275-1000 dollars.

Advertised as a 5 stars hotel but it s more of a 3 stars due to the property being old. Hopefully Hilton will renovate it up to the Conrad standard. At this time, it is not a Conrad property as far I can tell. The lobby has no where to sit, people were just standing around all over the place when it was busy at the front desk. The room we had have got a leak in the ceiling that was never fixed. Room size is excellent for a New York City hotel, that is probably the only thing this place has going for it. I can not recommend this hotel at their current asking price for a room.

Amazing rooms but calls from room to front desk were never answered and despite modern looking TVs, no access to HBO or Netflix even using my own log-ins or Chromecast. Kind of unacceptable to not offer streaming in a 5 star hotel that costs $500/night, now using a laptop instead to watch tv instead.

The location of this eclectic Midtown haute is perfect for those of you who wish a central spot to shop, dine and theater go. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms spacious, comfortable and clean. Room service is timely and the food freshly prepared. The bed was sublime and the "rain" shower head refreshing. The only disappointment was the bar scene that meshed/fused into the dining area (The Maze) making it somewhat unappealing.
Fix that up and it is the perfect spot for a romantic weekend in the Big Apple!
We look forward to a return in the fall.

Worst hotel I ve stayed in years.

Worst hotel I ve stayed in years.

Service horrible, nobody smiles, feel like you re asking a favour from staff. Room key malifuctions twice, both times are told to wait for security to meet at room for viewing ID, rather than standard card replacement at front door.

Breakfast buffet $40US, basic as scrambled eggs and sausages, orange juice defrosted. Cappachino $10! we went to leave and pay and were requested by the restaurant manager to sit back down for the bill rather than arranging herself!

Room was smoke free but stank of cigarettes, paid over $1100US per night.

Food delivery wernt allowed to deliver to room, stopped at front desk even though someone could come off the street and walk up no problem, no security. I mean, if they want to play the black rasism card, they could arrange staff to bring it up for us, it is supposedly a 5 star hotel!

Seriously, this hotel is overpriced, severly outdated and the staff are horribly rude.

I LOVE this hotel! Stayed here the past three visits to NY. Close to everything. Staff remembers me every time. Service is perfect. All rooms are suites & spacious. Great if u need separate space, hard to find in most NY hotels.
Lost my wallet & staff took the time to help me & saved it in security.
Girls , the lighting in the bathroom is fabulous & they give you a make up mirror. No UGLY florescent lighting here! Love this property!!!

Very happy with this hotel. Great, upscale experience and service. The London Apartments are much larger than expected in NY @ 1700 sq ft, so pleasantly surprised. After a horrible experience across the street at the Hilton Club the London NYC has retained my loyalty to the Hilton / Conrad brand. Highly recommend this hotel.

. Room is clean and a decent size. Breakfast is ridiculously priced. $45 for an egg, bacon, toast and coffee! I m ok paying half of that and definitely ok paying more if it were organic. We were also guaranteed a city view room (paid more money for it!) and got a park view. Staff courteous. Parking situation a nightmare and lacked communication.

Staying at the London NYC is like enjoying "Christmas on a Plate!" Everything about this hotel is excellent, service, staff, facilities, and the best part is every time my husband and I stay at the London NYC we receive the same excellent quality. No matter what season since we have stayed in the winter, summer, spring and fall. I love the location, which is near the park and near Times Square, but not on top of either spots, which I would call, "The Goldie Locks" location...just right. When we are ready for dinner and a play, we walk to both and on our return we are met with "welcome back to the London" greeting. Love that! On our last trip, we enjoyed a special package which included breakfast every morning. The restaurant staff is quite charming and every morning, my husband and I were treated so special, I did not want the "spoiling" to stop. If you get a chance to purchase this package, I highly suggest it. So nice to start your morning with a hot cup of coffee and little specialities at the breakfast bar. The bottom line is you will not be disappointed with this hotel. Location is everything and hands down this place scores high on my list. But why stop there....because the LONDON NYC is like having "Christmas on a plate.!"

New Yorkers know about their city, but they don't ...

New Yorkers know about their city, but they don't know about the hotels where their out of town visitors stay. The visitors stay in hotels because the apartments are so small that over night guests are not welcome. Especially when it comes to the bathrooms.

Ok, we have all stayed at hotels in Manhattan, but we are not all zillionaires who can afford the Ritz, the Pierre or the like. What is the best value for $400 to $500 per night? After all, we don't want to stay at the Hampton Inn, we can afford a real hotel room; where does one go?

The answer is easy, the London NYC, on 54th between 6th and 7th. First, it's location, location and location. You are in the heart of mid-town Manhattan, a short walk to everywhere! The shopping on 5th Ave is one block away, Central Park is only 5 minutes (if you catch all the green lights) and the theater district is at your door step. The Carnegie Deli (as well as the Hall) is just around the corner.

When you come to New York, you want a nice room. All the rooms at the London are suites, and they are larger than most apartments that you will find in the city. You will not want to leave the bath room, it's ginormous! Make sure you take a shower with someone you love, because you will love the showers. Outside of the bathroom is an open closet with wide hangers and plenty of room.

When you enter the room, there is a little vestibule where there is a bureau on top of which you can empty your pockets and place your valuables in a safe. You walk into the living room and breath in the space. You walk into the bedroom and you exhale the space. You really want to move in to stay. There is a TV in the living room and the bed room.

By they way, I hope you like to play tic tack toe, because there is a set in every room. The desk has all the outlets for your ipad and notebook.

The elevators and the halls are covered in a suede fabric, and other guest (not you) have a habit of making designs on the walls. So go have fun. That is the theme of visiting New York City, and the theme of staying at the London.

Katerina w/ Guest Relations went above and beyond to help me & my fiancee reschedule our reservation and the reservations of the guests that were supposed to attend our wedding this week. I cannot thank her enough and our thoughts & well-wishes go out to her and the staff at this property as they are having to navigate through a very challenging time.

This hotel doesn t have its business together. My wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law came up to celebrate my mother-in-laws 65th birthday. They didn t learn until check-in that the hotel was overbooked. They shipped them off to a lesser hotel Park Central. My wife said it reeked of bleach. It through a big wrench in the plans they had and cost them time, which effected other reservations they had. In the grand scheme of things, they are just three guests for a single night, so probably not a big deal to them. Just a warning to others, make sure you have contingency plans in case they overbook you and screw you out of something you ve had planned.

Beautiful hotel, awful staff. The theory that New Yorkers are rude is true and I was hoping that at the hotel I would sort of get away from that but sadly the front desk lady , Louise was hella rude I m normally sort of sympathetic to workers when they re mean because they probably have a had a hard day at work but honestly just plain rude. We had issues with the card and with the pricing of the nights , daniel helped but was kind of rude as well and they also charged us for so much they charged up 92 dollars for the mini bar and we literally only used 4 things so we told the front desk lady and she changed it but still like it just seemed like they where trying to charge us for everything. Honestly don t stay at the London as nice as it looks it was a pretty bad experience.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

I've traveled to NYC on numerous occasions and have stayed at many different hotels, including the Standard, the Nolitan, Park Central, On the Ave, the Dylan, and others.

London NYC is the best of the bunch, and by a huge margin. A few reasons:

Size -- The rooms are spacious, the biggest of any NYC hotel I've stayed in.

Layout -- Each room is separated into four areas: the living area, which has a large desk, a large sofa, and a 35-inch TV; the bedroom, which has a king-sized bed and 24-inch TV; the bathroom, which has a shower for two (!); and, a quasi-walk-in closet where you can comfortably store all your luggage as well as hang up your clothes with space left over to get dressed.

Location -- Initially, I was concerned about the London's Midtown location, bt 6th and 7th Avenues but closer to 7th. As a frequent visitor to NYC, I generally prefer the trendier Meatpacking, Chelsea, or Soho areas. But the Midtown location has several upsides. It's walking distance to the theater district. A subway entrance is about a short street block away (as opposed to long avenue block), making most of NYC easily accessible via subway. MOMA is steps away. Central Park is a short walk. Basically, the hotel is centrally located.

Staff -- I've been to many hotels where the staff is much too cool for school. Not at the London. The staff is unfailingly polite, a surprisingly rare trait for NYC hotels.

Fitness facility -- I was blown away by the quality and SIZE of the facility. Most hotels' fitness rooms are a neglected afterthought, usually a converted hotel room with two or three treadmills and a couple of leg machines. Not here. The London's facility occupies over 1,500 square feet on the fourth floor. It has state-of-the-art treadmills and other cardio equipment, a rack of dumbbell free weights, several resistance machines, a punching bag, and other amenities. They maintain it well too. Very clean, and well-stocked with towels and Crystal Spring water bottles.

Free WiFi -- Why in God's name do most hotels still charge for Internet access? This nickel-and-dime practice is irritating and insulting. Thank you, London, for providing this at no charge.

Great place to stay at the environment is very nice and relaxed. We had a double suite with adjoining rooms. Hospitality is great and the employees are super nice. Overall this is a great hotel and I would say it's one of the best in NYC.

Amazing stay. Clean rooms! But what stood out most to me was the wine selection at the bar! I didn t feel like I was at an average hotel bar and it quickly became the regular bar for my trip!! The bar manager eventually recognized us as regulars and greated is with a warm smile and great recommendations! I highly recommend this hotel based on bar alone!

My wife and I had a fabulous long weekend at The London NYC. The service was superb and the staff friendly and helpful--very unusual for New York. The room was both clean and large--again, anomalies for New York. We have found our hotel for all future visits to New York. I highly recommend to all.

Had a great stay! Awesome location and great staff. Received an upgrade to a phenomenal suite overlooking Central Park. Avoid the breakfast buffet unless you get a voucher (food was not worth the $40pp imo). Also, doorman tried to usher us into a $60 ride to LGA. Not sure if he's getting kickbacks but we easily caught a $28 cab. All in all we had a great stay and would stay again!

Poor customer service for a long-term customer.
Tried to give a room that wasn t what was booked.
Restaurant is not open, elevators aren t working, and the whole hotel is under construction - but they don t mention that on the website when charging full fare. Very disappointing.

Just WOW! That hotel is great and it s worth to stay here. They have an awesome atmosphere, nice scent in the lobby and friendly staff. The quality of the in room dining was good. Rooms in this hotel were all renovated so you could actually feel that this hotel has been refurbished. I had a suite and it was well decorated. Bathrooms were a bit too small, there was no space to put my stuff. Elevators were more or less quick. I can t really complain about it, when I complained something they fixed the issue right away.
The gym is old and needs a renovation.

Anyways it s a nice place to go!!!!

I think I will never stay again. The room was large, but my colleague who had booked the same room turned into a very small room like a business hotel, the price did not change, and even though it was a breakfast plan, I was not given a breakfast voucher, a complaint If it says, I saw an even more cruel service in terms of operation that 12 sheets are distributed for 3 nights. Breakfast is the same thing every day, and there are few kinds, and never eat breakfast here.

It's not often that your asked to pay these prices in a city with a great culinary and hospitality scene that you get worse service than the New York City subway. We hosted several guests at the hotel and sought out the events manager on multiple occasions via telephone and email to host an events - an we received absolutely no reply. I believe that a large part of a culinary experience is service and here they fail miserably.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were very nice and clean. The rooms service was very good as was the food. Stayed for two nights and had no complaints what so ever. It's location is great so you can walk to central park and time square (in between the two) about 15 ride to One World Trade Center.

Pretty good space for the money, but it's not a luxury hotel, as suggested. Rooms are a little rough around the edges and finishes seem kind of cheap. Incidentals are ridiculously ($70 for parking; $44 for two glasses of well wine).

Everything in and about this hotel has quickly become dated. We have stayed here perhaps a dozen times over the past six years with the quickest decline happening when the Hilton took over this property. Carpet is ripped here and there, beds are ever so slightly lumpy, doors have hinges that squeak and one of the elevators should require a liability waiver prior to entering. Alas, the lobby restaurant, at some point one of our favorites now appears no better, in any respect, than the diner down the block. A sad but true review...pay and enter at your our risk. Fail!

This is a nice hotel in a good location. All the rooms are suites. I'm guessing this is a former apartment building.

The room was clean and comfortable with great views. The bed was very nice. I'd definitely stay here again.
