The food and drinks were amazing! Perfectly crafted with explosions of flavor in each sip
and bite. The staff was friendly and welcoming as they made great recommendations based on what I like. The ambiance is a true NYC feel that makes a night out or a trip to NY complete! A must visit!!!

A luxury property located a few blocks south of Central Park and not far from Times Square.

From the bellman to front desk and housekeeping the staff is very pleasant and professional ready to cater to all needs .

The rooms are well appointed with a modern decor.

Location is excellent with the world-famous carnegie Deli just around the corner.

Staying in a newly remodeled room, which is very pretty. The shower is approximately 20 deep by 30 wide. Smaller than an RV or cruise ship. At this price you can do far better. Also security is non existent in a sketchy neighborhood. No restaurant. No gym. No security. Teeny tiny bathroom. This is luxury?

My room smelled like wet dog. There was mold on the drapes. The room was a nice size . They have a long way to go to meet Conrad standards

My first visit to the USA was made more enjoyable ...

My first visit to the USA was made more enjoyable by staying at The London. The hotel is excellently placed within walking distance of 5th Avenue and Broadway.
The hotel itself proved to be an excellent choice. We had a Vista Suite, which was far larger than we were expecting! The housekeeping cannot be faulted, with the suite kept spotlessly clean, and included a "turn down" service, which also included a second daily change of towels and a second clean of the bathroom! .
We had five days there, and found that all the members of the Concierge team were so very helpful, in telling us the best places to go, and how to get there, and suppling maps etc.In fact nothing was too much trouble.Fantastic value for money!!!

LIAR! I called to ask if they have sofa bed for all suits, and they confirmed. When I got a non-refundable ticker, they told me "hey fun fact, the suits doesn't have a sofa bed." Liar! In fact, I have recordings confirming how 2 agents give you completely opposite information before and after you booked with them.

Tired tired tired . This hotel apparently has no affiliation with The London in LA and is shows big time ! Bad customer relations - Freezing cold rooms, heating doesn t work properly, upon check in - room mini bar half empty , in room dining extremely poor. Only booked here as regulars in LA . Such a shame we wasted our trip staying in this hotel . It might be a good location but that s it . You can tell it s been taken over by Hilton ! Such a Shame .

The London will soon be rebranded as The Conrad Mi...

The London will soon be rebranded as The Conrad Midtown New York. All the rooms which are actually suites, have been refurbished, and the lobby is now complete. Work is being finished on the new restaurant Dabble, in time for a September 1st announcement.

Our corner room was huge, with windows having views of Central Park, the west side, and the Hudson River. Furnishings are cool, colorless, modern, somewhat minimalist, but with good fabrication, using lots of leather. The living room dominates, with sofa, a small table and two chairs, and a useless dresser or credenza whose drawers were occupied by a mini bar, coffee cups, Nespresso capsules, and items for sale. Both the living room and bedroom have TVs of course. Two closets exist for hanging clothes.
The bathroom is also large, with a gigantic shower, no tub, with ample storage space.

However, the design has some weird aspects. There are nightstands and two small drawers for clothes storage. We were compelled to live out of our suitcases. That shouldn t happen in a 550 square foot room in a luxurious hotel. A space was specially built and designed to store an ironing board, but the board is too large and the door can t close. Did the designer and builder not confer on measurements? Water temperature in the shower was difficult to modulate, and once the water stopped flowing completely.

Service is professional and competent, but very cold. A smile and warm greeting goes a long way. That was not evident at the London/Conrad.

I paid less than $400 a night, and the London/Conrad is a steal at that price. This stay in New York was for my surgery at Sloan Kettering, and the London/Conrad was perfect for the night before and the nights after this painful and frightening ordeal. Whether the rooms age well will be answered in September of 2020. In the meantime, the Conrad Midtown New York will be one of the best hotels in New York City.

I stayed here for a few days between Christmas and New Year's. The room had a large sitting area and it was much appreciated. The restaurant was fine for breakfast and drinks and never got too busy. The bathroom was the only negative, as there was not enough counter space and the shower could not be operated without causing a flood on the ground.

We had a king suite on 42nd Floor look into words Central Park. Very beautiful room, with sitting area where you can just sit and look at the view for hours. A big tall building is blocking Central Park, but if you like Windows and the building's you will love this. Restaurant downstairs offers good food. Chill atmosphere without too much uptight. Would come back without second thoughts.

I think The London NYC is a real traveler's oasis for Manhattan. Upon arrival the front desk staff is both friendly and helpful. The suite is perfect for a traveling couple, with excellent amenities, fashionable style and very clean. I always select hotels that offer an exercise facility and hand's down the 4th floor gym is one of the finest equipped hotel facilities I've ever experienced. But in NY you must always be aware of the noise level and here is the real highlight, I never heard a bit of street noise from my room, and I was on the 5th floor. If you want to sit in a high ceiling lobby and watch people, then the London is not for you. But if you want great service, excellent facilities and a good night's sleep, try the London NYC.

My husband and I are taking my 84 yr old to NYC in April. It is one of her dreams to go back. We are hoping to stay at the Conrad Midtown. Do they have rooms that would accommodate her staying with us? We might need wheelchair accessible.

I'm a big fan of the Conrad in Tribeca and DC, but the midtown location falls short of expectations. Good things? The rooms are spacious and newly renovated and the amenities are fine. It's also close to the train station. However, we had someone from housekeeping enter our room when a do not disturb sign was clearly on the door which upset our privacy. The dining options are below par for a 5-star hotel and exorbitantly priced due to this being midtown, I'd skip dining here and head downtown for meals. The location isn't ideal if you're looking to avoid heavy tourism, and it's pretty far from the better restaurants in downtown and Brooklyn. I'd stay in Tribeca next time.

This is a beautiful hotel in an ideal location in NYC away from noisy Times Square. The staff is beyond professional. We called Housekeeping for more pillows and they arrived in under 5 minutes. We left our "Do not Disturb" sign on the door while we left for the day and when we returned, there was a message from Housekeeping asking when we would like our room cleaned. Again, they were there immediately.
Very clean, very large suite for a family of 3. It was great to have the living room area and our son loved playing Tic Tac Toe. We would absolutely stay here again.

I had a 4 night stay in one of their suites. I'll never stay at the London again.

Pros: Good location. Comfortable beds. Friendly bell hops, doormen. One or two of the concierges are very nice. Decent gym.

Cons:

No water bottles in your room. No coffee machine or no ability to make hot water. I went down to the restaurant and asked for hot water and they told me to order it via room service. What a pain.

No spa. This is supposed to be an upscale hotel, not a boutique hotel. What full fledged upscale hotel doesn't have a spa? My friend had a sore back. I said go to the spa and get a massage. There was none.

Terrible restaurant. Objectively, most of the food on the menu is sub-par and overpriced. I ate lunch yesterday at the St. Regis. It was delicious. I ate lunch this afternoon at the restaurant in this hotel--- disappointing.

The wine: I had a badly overpriced glass of Artemis cabernet that was poorly kept. How do I know this? Because I had a bottle of it yesterday evening and at least that was good. Rather poor, limited selection of wines by both the bottle and the glass.

In-room: Light and window controls that aren't particularly intuitive. The air conditioning is great and very cold, but rattles super loud at night. Nice, big bathrooms and showers (at least in suites). Rooms a bit dated and could use an overhaul, but on the whole decent and spacious.

Other:

No lobby. Absolutely none. Nowhere to just sit and relax when you're going in and out. You walk into the hotel, there's the check in counter in front of you and the restaurant off to your right. There isn't even a single sofa or chair.

Some of the concierges are downright miserable. Not the friendliest front desk.

Elevators can be absurdly slow. After leaving the gym, I waited 3 or 4 minutes to get an elevator up to my floor. I waited for 5 minutes to get an elevator back down. Absurd.

Final word: I stayed here because it was recommended by American Express concierge. What a debacle. There are literally dozens of far superior hotels in NYC for the same price. For what I paid, I would have expected much better. A major disappointment. Pretty bad.

Great location just south of central park. Little direct view of the park, but great views of the city. Close to the theater district. Plenty of walking opportunities. These are the most spacious rooms in New York City. Impeccable service. Great food and drinks in the lobby bar/restaurant. Wish it was a bit cheaper, and we'd stay here on more than just special occasions.

I've stayed at quite a few luxury hotels and the all-suite The London Hotel is one of my favorites. Located right in the middle of Manhattan in the Theatre District and just a few easy blocks from 5th Avenue and Central Park, the location can't be beat.

My suite - which was the hotel's standard offering had a stunning view, a wonderful sitting area and little thoughtful touches that will want to come back again. If you're a modern day gadget girl like me armed with a laptop, iPad, iPhone, a camera and 2 bunch of other electronics, you'll appreciate the fact that they have electrical plug points galore at the work desk and on both of the night stands - all in a beautifully appointed room.

The other thing that I love about The London is the the fine dining restaurant by Gordon Ramsay that is perfect for pre-Broadway show romantic dinner, as The London is located in NYC's Theatre district.

There is also a bar and cafe on the ground floor which is great for chic conversational meetings . I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying here.

Have stopped by this hotel a couple of times for work as sometimes they host several trade shows and boutiques. There is also a restaurant downstairs where you can enjoy drinks or a meal.

High end hotel close to central park, several restaurants and shopping.

My husband and I have stayed at the London a couple of times. The rooms are wonderful! All of the rooms are suites and not miniature suites! As you walk in you have a small cabinet that is perfect to drop things off on and as a refrigerator and safe inside. The living room is fairly large with a sofa and tv, chair and desk area. Perfect for working or checking emails. The bedroom is luxurious and bed linens will not disappoint you . The bathroom is roomy enough for 2 people! I know, unthinkable for NYC. We have stayed at the Palace for many years but have now decided to switch to the London. The bathroom and layout of the suite has sold us! It is convenient for the theater and also shopping on 5th! We were on the 34th floor and had a nice view of Central Park.
Another plus of the Hotel was the concierge . He was so fast to reply to my emails and followed up with our reservations. So friendly and nice. They have a great restaurant but we really like the bar the best! Great to start the evening and go to one of the neighborhood restaurants on 54th! All in all, you can't go wrong! See you in Aug for another visit!

Very clean. Extremely courteous staff, but lock the door. They are quick to come in. Bathroom is fabulous. It is thin, but that is due to double ended shower for two!! Wink wink, nudge nudge. Higher-end hotel, so bring your wallet. LoL Location for me was awesome. So close to so much. In room dining was good. Restraunt is much better. Only 4 stars due to price to food quality ratio. They have room to improve there. You can always Uber Eats/Doordash, etc.for in room dining. Besides, there are fabulous restraunts everywhere within walking distance of the hotel. I would absolutely stay again. Over all, a fabulous stay was had!

My girlfriend and I stayed in a 1-queen bed junior suite (city view) and the room was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was clean and pristine! Bathroom amenities provided. The staff were always friendly and professional.
This is the kind of property that you have the option to text with the front desk, but they texted me first so I'm not sure if I would have been able to get through if not.
54 floors, I believe.

The location isn't terrible; it's not on an avenue which is nice (in my opinion), but was close enough to 7th that we could easily pick up a cab. Walking distance to Central Park!! (and Times Square, but I was less excited about that)

Downsides: they are under construction, so no restaurant or bar. As a Gold Hilton Honors member, I'm supposed to get a complimentary continental breakfast which obviously wasn't available, so we were offered a $30 credit per person/day (the price of the continental on the room service menu) to make up for that. I opted for the points instead...
Because of the construction, there was no signage or anything from the outside.
Also the elevators are no fun. It felt like I spent half the weekend just waiting for a ride up or down.

This was my go to hotel in New York. Not anymore though, I am utterly shocked to find it in shambles. The front desk's service as well as the cleanliness of the place have plodded down the drain and are both in need of a strong flush. Good thing it's just for a one night stay, otherwise I would have packed up and left for another hotel.
Never again the London.

A lady on a goose float.... The first thing you will notice when you enter the hotel.

Check in was relatively quick. We stayed here when we first arrived in New York and back here again after New Haven. Do take note that check in time is rather late so you might want to plan on opening the room the day before so that you can get instant access to your room especially after a long flight.

On our first stay we were placed on the 26th floor, room facing the main street. Higher floor means less road and traffic noises, however the drawback of having this higher floor is that the waiting time for the elevator is ridiculous, longest wait we had was 10 minutes.

On our return from New Haven, we had our room on the 14th floor still facing the road, slightly noisier but still acceptable. During our stay those staying near the elevator will definitely hear and feel the vibration of renovation works being done on the upper floor during the day. Fortunately our room was at the very end so we could hear it except when we were going to use the elevator.

Upon entering the room we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms. Living room had a sofa and a small dining table for 2, one chair facing the big TV.

In the bedroom, a king sized bed with one of the smoothest linens greets you. Bed is big but if you are travelling with a teenager you will need an extra bed. Placement of the extra bed next to main bed is not really good idea (but there is really no other place to put it) as the AC vents blows air directly there, so it might get too cold or to warm when using the AC/Heater. Also a note, the AC system on the 26th floor is rather noisy. We had a bench at the foot of our bed on the 26th floor but there was none on the 14th floor. Not sure which is the standard.

Bathroom is spacious except for the toilet area, but overall very clean. You are able to control the lighting with a dimmer that we found useful as not to be blinded when you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We did not get lotions and etc on our first stay but did get them on our second stay.

Overall although there were minor inconvenience and inconsistencies like the bench, the lotions and inconvenience for the waiting time for the elevator for higher floors and noise from the renovations. We really enjoyed the hotel and its locations. Staffs were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
