DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU DRIVE A NICE CAR!!!

The valet service smashed the back bumper of my car as well as scraped my wheel. The hotel workers blame it on the third-party valet service and try to take themselves out of the situation. They are the ones that employed the service and they do not care about your belongings. On top of a $700 hotel bill they gave me about $1500 worth of damage to my brand-new car. They have done nothing to rectify the situation. I would never stay at this hotel even if you paid me. Private hotels are the worst. I suggest to either stay at a Marriott or Hilton because this hotel is a load of crap.

Really like it here. We have a "standard room" which is quite large for a NYC hotel room. Love the automatic blinds with backlighting. Also the fresh marble tile in the bathroom is very soothing.

The hotel noticed that I was traveling with my 5 year old daughter and sent up some cookies with glasses of milk. Love little touches like this.

Thanks for the hospitality!

After seeing a show, I had a hankering for a slice of cheesecake. After all, I was in NY so I wanted to try a slice of plain ol' NY cheesecake. There was a line for dine-in, but if you want take-out then you just order at the register. There was a display case, but there weren't prices listed. I figured this wasn't the Cheesecake Factory, so how much could a slice of plain cheesecake cost? A whopping $10.88!

The slice was a large size. If you're a normal eater, you could turn it into 2-3 servings, but my inner fat kid can eat this in one sitting.

So, was it worth $10.88? The cheesecake was very smooth, and it wasn't overly sweet either. It was definitely one of the better cheesecakes I've had, but it wasn't the make-your-eyes-roll to-the-back-of-your-head type of good.

Stayed here for the first time after considering several times. Will definitely be back. The staff are perhaps the most professional and nicest I ve experienced at any hotel in Manhattan, based on dozens of hotels and hundreds of nights over many years. The rooms are decently sized by Manhattan standards, and well appointed. Does have a definite European feel compared to typical American brands. If that s you re thing, you ll love it.

The best hotel I've stayed at in New York. I definitely recommend choosing it. You won't be disappointed with the lavish suites and stunning city views! I was in town for the Empire State Tattoo Expo and this hotel was very conveniently located to that as well as many other New York attractions.

The room is a great size. And they were able to accommodate with a fridge and a microwave so I could store my new borns milk and use the microwave to sanitize the parts.

The rooms were okay. I believe the hotel was getting an update but that information wasn't shared with me I heard from someone else that was staying there. I wasn't overly impressed by anything at the hotel. Even the service at the bar was a bit pretentious. I did enjoy the bellhop services they were kind and helpful! That's my 2 cents you decide.

And they have gluten free ravioli too! Really enjoyed eating here. Menu is not that big but the food we had was very good.

The food is delicious and the menu creative. The beer selection and quality, fantastic. Even the drinks are delicious (a rarity for a pub/bar, no?). Just go. For a drink, a game, trivia night.... You're guaranteed to love it.

My family and I have been staying here consistantly for over three years (3 to 5 times a year), and while it has recently become a Hilton affiliated property the level of service has not declined. The managment, front desk, housekeeping, bell man and concierge staff constantly go out of their way to assist and make us feel welcome. Thank you London NYC team!

I just spent another 3-day NYC weekend at the London Hotel -- I love the London Hotel. I have stayed there many times in the past several years and always have had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. [My only disappointment was when the hotel was full and I couldn't stay there for my birthday week in NYC.] I liked the hotel when it was the Rihga, but I love it now. All the staff - the front desk, food service, housekeeping - are unfailingly polite, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are stylist, unstuffy, immaculate and big. The midtown location is convenient to almost everything and it is amazingly quiet for being in the center of it all. I can't wait for my next visit to NYC and the London Hotel.

Location is excellent. Staff is very friendly.
Would be great to have a bit more variety on room service menu. Very small grip so still would absolutely recommend.

Good location, walkable to Central Park. All the rooms are suite style. We redeemed Hilton points and initially got an 8th floor room which had pink/red furniture and a meh view. We called to ask for a higher floor, and got something on 25th, which was great. Furniture was blue theme and much nicer, not the greatest view but had more natural lighting. Bathroom is huge with two shower heads. The gym is also huge with a boxing area. Overall great Hilton property.

My husband and I stayed at the London NYC recently. The hotel is amazing!
Our room had a great view of the city. The furniture was really cool and extremely comfortable.
The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The concierge who assisted us was very knowledgeable, and the delivery staff was surprisingly fast.
We dined at the Gordon Ramsay restaurant in the hotel which was absolutely amazing. The food was great, and the service was sensational.
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the city!

The view was amazing... We stayed on the 52nd floor and we got to see some fireworks. The only thing that was a negative was there was no fridge... We requested one. However, everything that was cold spoiled. Besides that this is a great location to site see.

Was told the hotel is going through a renevation and given an updated room. I was not impressed with the room at all. The box spring was clearly soiled on one side, hard wood floors where scratched, almost no water pressure in the shower, and the heating system did not work well. The room get 1 of the 3 stars. The breakfast was subpar. Reconstituted powered eggs just didn't cut it for me not the sour watermelon. The other 2 stars are because of the outstanding location.

We have been going to the London for years. It never disappoints. The service is exceptional, the staff engaging, and the rooms are the best value and quality proposition in NYC. Whether for business or pleasure, when we go to New York we always stay at the London. Having just gone there for my wife's birthday, I especially want to give a shout out to Michael (doorman) and Samantha at the bar whose personal touch made this yet another wonderful experience. See you soon.

We arrived here today 1/16 at 4pm. On 1/15 I got a text message thanking me for choosing the Conrad to stay and asked what time we would be arriving so our room could be prepared. I told them 2pm as our flight was due around 115. We arrived at 4pm and had two suites. One atrium and one other sky suite. We were told at 4 pm that the rooms were not ready. We said we had a dinner at 530 and we re going to a show and we re told to go grab a drink in the bar (which we expected to get comped). After 3 more trips to the front desk to determine if the rooms were ready, we finally learned at 5:07 pm that the rooms were ready.
Upon bedtime, we called the service desk as we forgot a toothbrush... the service line rang and rang with no answer. Finally I got connected to an operator. I requested the toothbrush. 30 minutes later I called the service line back and again, no one answered. Then I got the operator again and was hung up on and not called back. 55 minutes after our original call and 15 minutes after our 3rd call now, still no one to our room.
This was our favorite NYC hotel. I have no idea what is happening at this place but the service I get at McDonalds is better then this.
We have spent thousands of dollars to stay here and are thinking tonight might just be the last night we do so.

LIAR! I called to ask if they have sofa bed for all suits, and they confirmed. When I got a non-refundable ticker, they told me "hey fun fact, the suits doesn't have a sofa bed." Liar! In fact, I have recordings confirming how 2 agents give you completely opposite information before and after you booked with them.

Shoddy customer service and attempt to double charge for hotel room

I booked a room in this hotel through Hotels_com on March 7, 2018.

I paid online for the room and received confirmation number.
However, when I went to the hotel, the front desk person (Miguel) had no record of my booking.

He had to call Hotels_com and get a fax confirmation of my booking.
I gave my credit card information at the front desk for security deposit. It took half an hour to resolve the room booking.
There is no point of instant online booking using the internet, if the hotel is using antiquated technology like fax to confirm booking.

I stayed overnight and checked out next morning at around 7:30 AM.

After 4 days, I received a fraud alert from my credit card company that I was being charged by the hotel again for the hotel room.

I contacted the front desk (Jocelyn) again and disputed the charges, and finally got the charges removed from my credit card.

I find it very disturbing that they used my credit card information without my permission to double charge for my pre-paid room.
The credit card information was meant for security deposit and was not meant to be mis-used.

This hotel needs more work on improving its customer service and infrastructure.

Had the worst experience in the bar....we were waved to the table by a lazy looking girl, then ignored for 15 mins and walked out (she ignored us on way out too!). We are hotel guests for 12 nights - rooms are spacious and nice, but no in room coffee/ tea facilities. Expensive for what you get.

Suites are spacious. The north side has a partial view of Central Park.

Tip: request for that side of the building. It's worth it.

I saw Sting once! Supposedly, his family frequents one of the penthouses.

Hotel Well located also for New Year's events with very large suites but with a big problem, namely that of not having a seat at the entrance to the hall waiting for the room to be assigned or leaving the checkout and to finish, good restaurant service but in a very neglected environment in terms of maintenance. Last but not least, diamond subjects like myself have not in any way been respected the category benefits and this is really unbecoming, given the prices of the period are not completely indifferent!
