Ever since its existence we love this place.. my hubby & I had stayed overnight coming back from U.S. we dont miss inviting his friends to be at this place & dine. Staffs are very courteous, friendly & respectful!
Spacious hotel with lots of amenities such as swimming pools, garden, zoo, billiards, table tennis, and beach! Plenty of choices for buffet breakfast. The double room has king size and single bed with a bath tub. It has free shuttle service to and from the airport.
The dinner buffet experience was very affordable and foods are delicious. This place is so quiet and best for a get away
Place is very big from the reception area ti the rooms. Upkeep is great good place for a family retreat. A lot of activities. They even have a beach.
Easy to get there not that far from airport. The property is well kept, however, the rooms need a refresh. I was told they are redoing the room now. The pool area is nice and there is a mini zoo! The property offers numerous activities and golf. The beach area is clean and large. Would go again, just hoping the rooms get updated.
It's geared towards domestic and international tourists. It should think of ways to become more local tourist-friendly

Ambiance is ok. Long walk from room to pool and lobby. Classic rooms.
The surounding and rooms are top of the art: soft beds and clean rooms. However the food is only good if you are a native of China and you wish to eat like at home.
The breakfast is horrible. Forget crispy bacon, there is only a Chinese buffet with in the corner toast (that you have to do it yourself) and some marmelade.
Ninety persent of the guests are young noisy Chinese and everything is done to please them.
Very well-maintained in spite of its age, from the buildings and rooms; the gardens look lush and well cared for; the breakfast buffet is disappointing if compared to what newer hotels with the same room rate offer. Their longganisa ,when on the menu, is good. The kitchen staff can accommodate take-out breakfast if requested the night before. We left the hotel very early for an event and we had we had to eat breakfast while on travel.
There were very few guests both times we checked in. Maybe it was the off season?

This is my first time stay in at Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel it was very nice and especially there facilities there so much fun and exciting.
And the room it was very clean and comfortable. The staff there are friendly . And I will come back here again! The best hotel ever for me!

Need some renovation, food is good. But its show's the age of the hotel. The pool is not properly
maintained. Use to be one of the best hotel during Marco's time.

Old jet ski(90s) cut off twice while riding..and smoked, banana boat didnt have all the handles to hold on, Four wheelers were decent(Chinese budget type).
Went for a day of jet skiing, four wheeling..The staff tried to charge me 4 times the rate for the jet ski.. I told him im renting the ski/time..you dont charge per person.. He immediately drop the price to 1/4.. smh.. Almost died on the banana boat when the staff insisted on riding in the surf.. after two failed attempts to flip the boat.. he circled back and rode parallel to the waves until we all were dumped into the water.. My wife was terrified and was sick afterwards.. I now know what to look out for in the future.
It's a nice place to stay however if it's not busy with guests the buffet breakfast is off, which isn't mentioned anywhere, you have a fixed menu not great for European taste it's restricted Also the sunset bar is closed at sunset which is strange. Staff are nice and helpful grounds are well maintained
I didn't stay in this place and just went for a very short visit. The interior of the resort is elegant with the wood used. The chandelier in the middle also added sophistication.
I was only able to really look around the jewelry store. It has a lot of different charms to choose from. The person in-charge was nice enough to entertain questions about the charms being sold.

Great place to stay if you are planning for Illocos. Magnificent grounds, green nature, luxurious swimming pool, leisure sports, casino, beach, zoo...it has everything for everyone. Hospitable people working in there. Beautiful architecture with many restaurants within to choose from.

It has been my second time around Ilocos region, and I am amazed to know that there is such a high-class hotel-resort that offers a lobby tour for a short period of time. Gladly, the security guards and hotel receptionist are all attentive and vibrantly smiling. Kudos Fort Ilocandia! Must visit if you are planning to find your soul this summer!

No entrance fee, but we were not able to explore the whole place. Some areas are restricted.
Classy with big open spaces. But the rooms are due for renovation. Not all staff are friendly.

Massive and beautiful property but poorly managed! I was shocked to find out that you can't even get a cup of latte or cappuccino at a huge hotel. Apparently their coffee machine is broken so only brewed coffee is available. Also, I ordered room service and was told that my food will arrive in 15-20 minutes. My food arrived after 45-50 minutes.
Wish they'd bring back the spa and everything else like how it used to.

The lobby view in the hotel is super nice. I love how the interior goes well with what Ilocos is famous for - cobblestones. We didn t stay here but they allow tourists to check out the place.
It's a nice resort to stay. There are shops, boutiques, and food services available.
Stayed many years ago, the staff is friendly and polite, the environment is quiet and the facilities are perfect. The only objective disadvantage is that there are no attractions nearby, which is more suitable for a quiet holiday.
Its perfect place for photo shots...you will have a glimpse of Philippine history in this beautiful place
Beautiful resort, though rooms/building are a little dated. Can't really help that though since it's a remodeled fort. Plenty of things to do on-site. Chinese restaurant is great. Amazing service all around. WiFi kind of finnicky/slow, though.
For a 4 or 5 star hotel this hotel needs to be refurbished. Guests are usually from nearby Taiwan. It has a nice garden with a fountain in the middle, excellent for photo shoots. And to add, a casino area.
It was really an awesome experience, we held our company product launching there and they were able to give us 100 percent of their support and services. Kuddos to Ms. Ging of Manila sales office and Sir Kristan and Ms. Sari (Manager) for the great help to make ouer event successful..

Very good, Nice and clean many things to do and see. The swimming pools are very good. It's a bit isolated from the town.
