Booked three rooms weeks ago, turns out on the arrival they've closed the hotel for refurbishment and didn't bother sending any communication to us or our travel agent! The two from the group were moved to one hotel and the third one to a completely different hotel.
Absolutely appalling!

Horrible staff. From front desk, reservations (Monica), to room service. One unpleasant service after the next. The amount of dust and dirt in the rooms- completely filthy. Very disappointed as a diamond star member with Hilton of this experience.

They have very poor customer service, even after you bring an issue to their attention. My son has severe nut allergies, and though I let them know ahead of time and confirmed two days prior to check in, they still did not have the allergy free room ready and once they did, did not maintain it. They refilled the mini bar with several nut products and included almonds on the breakfast tray-even though I reiterated the issue each time I ordered food. In addition, I called to talk with the manager and though I left a detailed message with his assistant, he never returned my call. If they do not care to provide a safe environment for children with allergies, they should advertise such on the web site and let concerned parents know this when they call to inquire. It is shameful that they do not show concern for children who suffer with such issues, but also scary that they would promise to do so and then so blatantly disregard the young customers who need their support. The hotel as a whole was sub par, but to know they show no care for kids with medical issues is unacceptable and needs to be shared with the public.

I just ate at the restaurant. The atmosphere was light and the decor was elegant. The waiters were very polite and helpful. I loves the food, everything was delicious. It is a bit on the pricey side but I believe it's worth every penny.

Great location! Much better than the other Conrad in NYC. But unfortunately that s about all this place has over the other Conrad. First, when I went to my room for the first time (after checking in) the door was wide open. A little concerning right? Well the front desk person didn t think so when I called. He basically told me not to worry about it. Well after going back down and talking to the mgr on duty he finally moved me to a different room (15 floors down from my original). Ok, nbd. During my stay, going in/out of the hotel, I watch closely. No one was checking for room keys, room keys are not needed to go up to your floor, pretty much anyone can get in and walk around the floors. Concerning when doors are left wide open after they re cleaned(or whatever happened with my room) Ok that aside, rooms are decent size but felt dated. The restaurant was average at best. Service was very underwhelming for a Conrad. I could ve been staying at a Hampton Inn for how they treated us. Won t be returning to this location.

Terrible, dated, very dirty! Snot on the curtains, shaven hair in the sink, a musky stench in every part of the room - this is not like the reviews! Clearly is a retrofit of the previous Hilton which I can't imagine looked any better. Washroom was something of a motel 6 - dirty tiles, brown coming from the showerhead - not impressed!

If you enjoy spending $450 a night to sleep in your grandparents nursing home then the London NYC is for you. During our three day Labor Day weekend vacation we encountered the following

A "King" bed that is actually the size of a slightly larger than normal twin. Have a significant other? I hope you enjoy hot sweaty skin all night.

An AC Unit that was stuck on either full frigid blast or completely defunct.

Bathroom and cabinet doors that stick and creak like a 50 year old cabin.

A fire alarm that went off at 2am, and a loudspeaker that was blasted into our room at maximum volume while we slept, which would have been fine had the speaker not been blown making the actual emergency message indecipherable.

This place sucks. Do yourself a favor and stay at The Standard, Mandarin Oriental, or even under a bench in Central Park. You will be much more comfortable.

We loved our stay here at the London. It was excellent from start to finish, with a few blips outside of the norm.
We have stayed in NYC over a dozen times, and usually opt for a Hilton property; the London was just acquired by Hilton, but it really surpassed our expectations.
At the London, clients are acknowledged by any and all staff. It does not matter who the staff person is, I noticed that they all greet you with a smile and 'hello'.
The rooms are pretty spotless, coming from a germ-phobe with a propensity for re-cleaning rooms when I arrive. All white bedding, wood flooring, copious water pressure, and a 24-hour fitness room were my favorite aspects of this hotel.
The blips we encountered were temporary, such as elevators under repair and the NYC Blackout of 2019 that just happened. In those situations, taking the stairs is daunting but possible, as with any NYC high-rise hotel.
Staying in NYC can be a gamble, and often requires a high level of ick tolerance, but The London defies that. The cost is pricey, so look into accumulating Hilton Honors points to help offset your stay next time.

Expensive bar with good but unimpressive service if you compare with midtown options. It might be a very convenient option if you are meeting someone at the hotel or need a last minute meeting.

Excellent hotel conveniently located in mid town. I've stayed here a number of times over the years. Rooms are spacious for NYC with a sitting room and large bathroom. The staff is excellent. Decor is contemporary. Walking distance to all major dept stores. Can be tough to get a cab at times. Not as luxurious as some of the real 5 star hotels but this one is excellent. Reasonably priced.

In this inch of Manhattan, there is a room, a room, a bathroom, and many other restaurants.
If you can, it is recommended to ask the counter for the room type facing the Central Park. If it is full of difficulties, you may not be able to ask for it.
Free wireless Internet access is available in the hotel rooms.

Awesome stay! The team was exceptional and the room was beyond my expectations. I love that this All Suites hotel is in NYC, where hotel rooms can feel a bit cramped. The Hilton Brand got this one right! If you can stay at the London, you will not be disappointed. Centrally located and within walking distance to great food and attractions such as Carnegie Hall, Times Square, shopping, and theatre district. Looking forward to staying at the London again. So, get ready to put on the grey robe, as you saunter past the foyer with a snack and beverage from the well appointed refrigerator and enjoy your room a la "Mad Men" style. The only tricky thing was figuring out how to turn on the lights in the sitting area.

This hotel is in serious need of repair. We were moved 3 times due to over-active, then under-performing heat. The third time was due to plumbing problems. Each time the maintenance people knew all about it, and the front desk professed ignorance. It was laughable. Great location in Midtown. Don't know that we will stay again, though.

Definitely not a 5-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Don't be fooled by the name, because you certainly won't experience European hospitality here as evidenced by the countless 1-star reviews that mention every problem under the sun from construction noises and lack of security to horrible reception and dodgy bookings. Stick with the familiar international brand names in the area.

My husband took me there for my birthday... Not exactly what I was expecting... I was seated and it took a little time for a waiter to ask me would I like water... not like a drink menu or anything. Then I was left on the table with a menu... no one ever came to ask us if we would to order... nothing... we got so pissed, we got up and told the hostess what poor quality of service our experience was here... I'm not sure of this is the quality of service Gordon Ramsey has built his restaurant on... such a disgrace! The menu looked real good (which is what the stars are for), but too bad the service was POOR.

After staying in 100+ hotels in NYC my search is over. I will stay at the London from now on. Every room is spectacular - rivaling what you'd find typically at a Sofitel or higher-end luxury joint. The restaurant downstairs has a above average breakfast offering and the concierge made a run to Duane Reede to pick up cold medicine for me for a nominal fee.

Outstanding service. Will be back, for good.

This hotel is Ok; its location is great and it has good size rooms but I found the beds uncomfortable and the furniture outdated. I also thought the staff were civil rather than friendly. Overall - this is really a good three star hotel rather than a four star hotel.
