Wow what can I say the best resort so far, affordable prices, in house pool and the sea is just behind the hotel. Definitely going back this summer.
Wow what can I say the best resort so far, affordable prices, in house pool and the sea is just behind the hotel. Definitely going back this summer.
Hotel was clean, and the hallways and elevators smelled freshly cleaned each time we went inside. Pools were heated, considering I hate cold pools. Staff was very friendly.
It was good the first night and the second day but then by the second night there was no hot water and there was still none by the time we checked out the next morning. Every time I called the front desk from that night to next morning all they kept saying were that they were sorry and there was nothing they could do. We had swam in the pool and everything and didn't have no way to bathe. We had to drive the whole 4 hours home pretty much nasty. Would have been nice if they offered us another room to bathe in or something.
Oceanfront with nice Beach. Has ample Indoor and outdoor pool/hot tub options. Room is well kept, but definitely in need of updating. Good sized room and has the ability to function as a two bedroom suite. Full kitchen allows for dine-in option. Comfortable with kids. Hotel has lots of amenities. Some are included and some are pay for use. Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach.
If I could give this place a 0 I would. Everything about this place is nasty! Water leaks , lights going out, the smell of mold, told I would get a ocean view but I didn t, carpet stinky, some of the elevator don t work and some smell like pee. The rooms look like a motel and in need a major upgrade. I will never in my life come back to this place again!!! Oh and the phone in the room, the cord wouldn t stay in the phone so I could call the front desk. Call the front desk for some information about something they had going on and the lady didn t know. Had the do not disturb sign on my door and housekeeping bothered me out of my sleep anyhow smh. So this place gets a 0 from me. Come here if you want, you taking a chance.
This place is disgusting. Images online make the resort look appealing. It definitely is not. Our room had a metal bar in shower that came crashing down on me, the shower head had no place to secure it on the wall, a burner was pulled off stove, blankets were "crunchy", pool area was litered with trash. Restaurant tables were sticky, food was not good at all, constant long wait for elevator...
Very nice older remodeled resort with good food and friendly staff. Deluxe angle suite is awesome!
This is this is the worst hotel ever. I will never stay here or recommend this hotel to my dog. The hotel was dirty and it stinks. I had to call the police on the people above me because the manager on duty did not address my complaints. The people above me were smoking weed, their children were opening and slamming the sliding glass door, they were yelling and screaming(about 4 hrs) until the police got involved. Also they did not give us extra towels and washcloths after they cleaned the room. For those who are reading my review, DO NOT BOOK LANDMARK RESORTS.
Decent resort. Nice indoor pools, fun outdoor pool near their private mini golf course.
I really don t know where to begin I guess I can say they try their best to staff is super friendly. As for cleanliness they can do a lot better we found roaches in our room mind you this was the second room we switch to because the first room was not even clean at allI seen roaches downstairs in the pool area and I also seen roaches on another floor by the elevator I guaranteed I will not be back to stay there but I will revisit Myrtle Beach again. I ll let the pictures and videos speak for themselves wish I can give this hotel zero star
Great place to stay clean up to date rooms great wifi many pools and lazy river put put golf we will definitely back
Great place, we had a super low rate and Tori at the front desk was amazing! We combined our room with Ripley's tickets. Cheapest tickets that I found!
Rooms are very old and dirty. Didnt even want to sit on the couch. The only thing redone like it stated was the lobby. Could not get ahold of anyone after multiple times on hold. Phone number left in Que, and emails. Nice amount of pools. Also not very clean. Find another place.
It's not the same Landmark it used to be. Needs renovations badly. Our second day there we got robbed. Stole my wallet, medicine bag(I have cancer),and a few other things. Hotel didn't take any responsibility. It had to be an employee. Filed a police report and that's it. Worst experience ever in Myrtle Beach! Never will go back to the Landmark! All I can say is that you've been warned! I shouldn't even give a star. It was clean at least.
Landmark is a big resort and overcrowded. The rooms are ok but nothing special. Even with all the pools they have there still was not chairs for us.
Front desk service was good. I wasnt impressed with the overall cleanliness of the rooms and resort.
Best place to stay. Everything you need is right there.
Definitely pre-register online to avoid long and slow check-in line. When I came into room it had not been cleaned by maids from previous guests. Needed fresh bed sheets and towels.
It's a old place and it shows. Rooms are not what's in website. Poorly maintained and cleaned. This will be my first and last visit.
Everytime i stay at myrtle beach i always stay at the Landmark resort. Best place in town.
Staff was extremely helpful in many ways. Great place for family vacations
Staff was very friendly, my room needed a lot of maintenance work. Patio was not safe for my family. Bathroom yuck! Needs a complete make over.
food is amazing. Never had such an amazing taste in my life
I always stay at the landmark. My kids LOVE the Landmark. We love it so much we tell everyone to go there, we even was looking to buy a place there to enjoy it ALL the time, until this time staying at the landmark. My husband and I was so excited to actually be staying there for 11 days, without kids for the first time, but this time coming here is giving us both second thoughts of staying here or buying a place here. It wasn't as clean as usual. Then we lost electric at 3 am in the morning, means NO AIR, which I called them to bring it to their attention, then off to try and sleep which was difficult because it was hot in the room even with the door open. So I finally get up still no power at 7:30( no coffee, no shower, still hot, and couldn't cook our food)so we got dressed and went to get coffee and breakfast figuring to give them time to get it fixed, after eating we figured we would do some running around to some places, when we got back at 2:30 still NO POWER. Okay I understand stuff happens, but the way they handled it was not very professional. I work customer service I know things happen out of your control, I get it, but if my husband and I hadn't come down to the front desk to see what was going on nobody would had even tried to give us another room or actually do anything for us. Then because it was something out of their hands, they treated us like we are giving you another room you should be glad. Well listen you act like it is an inconvenience to you to give us, the paying customer another room, lets talk inconvenience shall we...1. we pay you a lot of money to stay here on vacation and we didn't ask for the electric to go out. 2. You act like oh well... because you get to go home and have electric. 3. you think we should kiss your toes because, you after we came to you, were giving another room, that WE lost all the food we had in the fridge that we bought, we had to re-pack all are stuff up and move it ourselves, all for you to make it feel like WE ARE INCONVENIENCING YOU. and then you aren't going to even offer ANY kind of compensation. I NEVER complain about things even when there should be complaints because I understand things can't always be perfect, but something huge like this, I am sorry but I refuse to stay some place that doesn't care about their guest. I would have tried to go above and beyond to correct the matter as soon as possible, keeping your customers happy is the key to returning revenue. poor customer service is not good for revenue. Looks like the first time in years I am going to have to start looking for another place to stay and buy for my forever place.
The staff promptly responds to the concerns of their guests, doing what they can to satisfy them.
I want to rate landmark 5-stars as we enjoyed our time while visiting. Only complaint I have is housekeeping cleaned our room but failed to make sure our door was completely secure. I didn't like that all day my room was left unlocked like that. I do realize accident happen! Also, it would be helpful for the doors to have another lock so little ones cannot open the door themselves. Our room was clean and all the ammenities met our needs. After booking we had some questions and I called and spoke with Monique who was outstanding to deal with. I would return to landmark and I am a picky person!
Great view from our oceanfront balcony. Surprisingly not as crowded as i feared with the pandemic and all. Day 1 was success, 5 more to go .
The hotel was fine for the price we paid, however I would have not been very happy had I paid full price!
I
The Staff is friendly and housekeeping are great too.
The resort was past it's prime. The overall feeling was "damp"
When we got to our room, there was an inch of water in the bottom of the fridge. Why? Who knows. This was the trend for the whole week. A maintenance guy came by and dried it out and made adjustments twice. It never stopped.
We had a shock on our second morning when the front desk called and told us we had to leave our room and check out immediately. (We had booked the whole week) it was a mistake and management sent a food voucher, but come on folks!
Speaking of food, my wife and I were led to believe that our wristbands were for access to the pool and the free breakfast. Wrong! Breakfast wasn't free. When we did go to breakfast (with our food voucher) our server took way too long to sit and serve us. She spilled some of the "fresh" fruit on the floor from my plate and didn't bring more to replace it. There were almost no options that weren't griddle fried.
The elevators have issues. The ones in the garage were on the fritz 3/5 days and never responded to the call button. The ones inside the hotel were slow as mess and one stopped working.
Maid service needs training review. Requests for towels or trash removal was about 50/50 with consistently.
When using the stairs (water was pooled on several flights and a slip hazard) I noticed partially finished electrical boxes and missing fire alarm lights. There was an extension cord running across one stairs the whole stay. The basement and maintenance access were unlocked. As well as the room access. Don't let you kids wander!
It was more affordable than other places on the strip, but you get what you pay for.
I am giving a zero star. Very pathetic service. I reserved my vacation in advance. The day before my arrival date they call me and informed me that they have moved me to their sister property because they don't have any rooms available due to hurricane that came. They assured that sister property has better amenities and room so I agreed. Then after some time when I called them back to make sure all is good they said my reservation is canceled. I called the sister property and they said they don't have my reservation. They didn't even try to find out what's going on and basically told me that there's nothing they can do. They have ruined our vacation. Please don't trust these guys. They are cons. I would never ever rely on these people.
I was thoroughly pleased with the accommodations and amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I will most definitely return for future stays!
If I could rate zero stars, I would. I arrived at 310pm to check in for a work conference at the resort. I was informed that my room was not ready and check in was at 4pm. As of 539pm, I have yet to check into he room that I reserved over a month ago. I spoke with front desk staff at 510pm and was laughed at when I asked for some sort of compensation for the wait. If not for my work function, I would leave. Heck, I may still have to leave anyway to have a bed for the night.
Staff was extremely helpful and nice. I watched them deal with atleast two very ugly guest in a professional manner. They responded to any requests we had promptly. The food at hotel was reasonable priced and good quality. Room was clean. Bathroom was nice, shower/ tub outdated but clean. Lots of pools, but more direction signs would of been helpful. Mini fridge in room took forever to get our drinks cold, so put them in right away. Overall would recommend and stay again.
I loved it there. The bar was great expecially the bar tender. The view was amazing the pools are even more amazing if I had to pick any resort to go to no question I'd go back here
We got here at 12:00 pm; went too check in and didn't get a room until 3 or so. Then we are leaving today (Friday) and we go to get a cart too tote our stuff, they don't know where the carts are I called down at the front desk and ask the lady nicely if she knew if they ever found any carts and she said if they are down here they would be outside of the building; I've looked 2 times then she gets smart as I tell her that I ran into a guy on the elevator that worked here and asked him and he said he's been here since 7 and hasn't found any and she just said well I don't know; VERY RUDELY! Never will come here again! Not too mention the room smelt like mold and a maid even pointed some out too us and they still didn't do nothing about it!
Just stayed here for spring break...would not recommend. Our first room was very outdated and gross...dirty ceiling tiles, stained furniture and nowhere to store anything..looked nothing like what we saw online. The front desk was willing to move us to a different room which I appreciated. Constantly smelled like marijuana (both rooms but first one was worse) elevators are so incredibly slow and if you ever need to go to the front desk plan on at least 20 mins waiting in line. Most of their rooms are individually owned so they're all different. What we thought we were booking online looked nothing like the first room we got...that is deceiving. The staff was friendly enough and my kids loved all the pools and free putt-putt. However the outdoor waterpark was not open til our last day bc of issues and their outdoor lazy river was not open either. There was a sign in our room for a magic show but that also was not going on. Alot of things they advertise for are not available so just be prepared for that I guess. Either way, the ocean is gorgeous :) hotel could use ALOT of work.
This place surpassed my expectation. I was on the 11th floor so I didn't deal with any bugs. Everyone there was friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious.
Great experience! Very kid friendly! All you can eat breakfast was awesome! Clean rooms! Great service! And yes i will be returning!
Clean rooms, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub, good breakfast and beach is right out the back door.
We had problems after problems. I would spend the extra money and go somewhere nicer. After they overbooked and gave us wrong room refused to give us a refund, and gave us a lower priced room after which we had already paid for. We had more issues. There is a brown stuff in the fridge. Hot tubs were more like jacuzzi instead of hot tubs. They clearly stated they had cable. All we could get was 5 channels on Satellite. Called maintenance an hour ago and stil no one has arrived. After horrible experience my daughter only wanted to watch tv and we can't even do that. Spend your money else where and I will write this review everywhere I can. I only wanted my child to have a good time and we spent over 2 hours waiting for check in and over an hour on freaking maintence.
I am currently here and check out tomorrow. I love the amenities but this hotel is way too dirty. There is roaches in my room and huge dead cockroaches in the halls. My 8 yr old even talks about how dirty if a hotel. He didn t even want to take a shower because the tub was dirty when we arrived. The hall and elevator stinks so bad like urine! Very disappointed and will not book here again. Cleanliness over amenities any day!
We stay here every year for 14 days!! I love all the Amenities, & restaurants! They parking garage & over pass is also a plus!
Always a good experience every year when we stay here!
The place is riddled with cockroaches. At first one or two didn t bother me, but they are EVERYWHERE.. big and small. It s seriously disgusting and i d consider it an infestation.
Great staff and resort is set up so you really don't have to leave premises. But, if you do everything is a walk away.
We checked in last night, as we finished a 16 hr drive we pulled up to 10 police cars outside building. It was a domestic disturbance and I was pleased.with the staff handling it. Front desk guy was sweet and nice. Then we go to our room, halls smell musty, rooms in need of cleaning and updates. Bathroom floor gross, no dish soap for dishes, rug was dirty, furniture needs cleaning. Beds comfortable and clean so that is a plus.
Room was not ready at check in time. 30 minute wait to check in. Front desk seemed to be very unorganized. Pools had very strong smell of Bleach no towels in pool area woman at front desk got an attitude with me when I requested towels for pool. I have stayed in some of the cheaper hotels at Myrtle Beach and received better service. I do not recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back.
I am sorely disappointed all together we spent $300 on a 1 and a half night stay . The night staff was rude. We got there and got to our room and the view was of the middle of the hotel where all the ac units and everything are so I requested to switch rooms as I paid for an ocean front view so I thought I go down there the woman s like there s nothing we can do but the guy in the back came out and switched us because at this point I m crying it s my anniversary stay and all I wanted was a view of the ocean to wake up too and I paid ALOT of money already. So they made me pay an extra $30 to switch and end up putting us on the aide where the view of the ocean was to our right there was mold all in the room rust on the door frame and the ceiling was falling off on the ground I have tons of pictures and I am very upset I will NEVER return here and will deter every person I know .
Absolutely love!!the rooms, the location, and love the lazy rivers!!!
Used to love to stay here. Came in today for a over nite visit. Wanted to go to the bar and restaurant. But was told since our wrist band wasn't green they could not serve us. Are you for real your turning away money because we booked from a owner. I will never book here again. You lost a yearly repeat customer. And I usually book through your hotel. My last visit from Ohio was canceled due to the virus outbreak. I guess your company didn't loss enough money from the virus now your pushing away customers.
Landmark is a fantastic Resort my wife and I enjoyed it immensely, the staff and management did a great job accommodating us, we look forward to returning in the future!
Good price and great location. Hotel building is older.
My room smelled of mold and mildew. I requested another room. The move was made with no problem. Friendly staff.
It was a meh. Got there and they got us the wrong room and cards. Then had to come back and wait for 20 minutes while they change our room. Once we finally got a room we got a horrible view of just the dirty roof they had with garbage and loud machines. Not to mention some of the staff were rude.
Rooms stink! Without power because of storms for 4 hours we finally packed up and left
*groupon purchase* (69.00 per night/ 99.00 after taxes and fees. I had no clue what to expect.)
Very nice Room was new and up to date decor (314), 2 very comfy twin beds,no view of the beach and a little small for my party of 3. Im glad I spent 1 night here, because the kitchen consisted of a microwave, small fridge, and sink. So no cooking in the room, but the resort makes up for this with an affordable restaurant and bar on site. Also your room gets you discounts at most places in the area. Also a Starbucks in the lobby, pretty cool. Also they do have rooms with full kitchens and beach views. Maybe for more $$$
FINAL WORD: Great place if you looking to go out and have fun! There is soo much to do on S. Myrtle beach. Clubs, bars, scooter rentals..ect. oh and the beach is literally out side your door! Very cool
Im more into relaxing on the beach, spending time with my family, sleeping, reading, peace and quiet. Im more of a north myrtle beach kinda guy.
I frequently stay in Myrtle Beach and have never had problems until now. I made a reservation a week ago with landmark and they sent me confirmation emails and even called me. Then they take the money no problem. A week passes and they call me canceling my reservation bc no rooms are available. Then proceeded to tell me that it would be four to five business days before they refund my money. That's just unprofessional and unorganized. I will never give my business to them ever again.
I just want to say I would not stay at this resort again it is so ran down it need a make over bad. The price we paid for 5 days we should have been in a 5Star resort.
Every year that I come here the Landmark hotel keeps getting better. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway in Myrtle Beach.
The rooms look nothing like the website couldnt rest it was very noisey up until 4am but we stayed 3days had to deal with it everynight every where else was booked
Air conditioner in living room never worked even though maintenance looked (literally just looked never even tried to fix) at it twice, 3 of our 4 kitchen burners did not work (maintenance did fix those) and our florescent lights in kitchen flickered (which gives me migraines) and again those were only looked at and I was firat part of the week they didn't have any replacement bulbs...it was also never fixed. Our view was beautiful, the bed was comfortable amd overall the roomwas nice. But for $1600 I would expect everything to work or be repaired to working condition.
Nice room but wish offered a broom inside room for sand
Love all the pools and hot tubs available. Complimentary towels available. Walk out to the beach. Laundry facilities, gym, and business center.
I ll never stay here again. I m giving a 3 star because I think maybe covid and resulting hiring problems have caused some issues. However, if this had been 2019 this overall experience would be a 1 Star.
Room not particularly clean, bed was so hard I turned all night, on site breakfast took over an hour and wasn t good and was $34 for one adult and two kids.
I don t know what we paid to stay at this place as my wife made the reservation as part of my sons baseball team tournament. But I ll never vacation here.
Worst stay ever, some guy keeps following me around about my vape and telling me I cant use it. Walked by 3 people with cigarettes just to say something to me. Cant sit on my balcony without getting high from the smell of weed but they won't track that down. Everytime we try to get a snack the places were closed. Even the restaurant here treated us like idiots.
Says newly renovated all over the website but that's only some rooms and very few. Decorations are from the 70s. Overall decent ok place. Some rooms had cockroaches, others smelled like pot growers live there. It's a motel with hotel prices and plenty of parking. Better not pay over 99 a night or you'll be very upset.
This hotel is old and you basically "get what you pay for". The front desk check in was great, they were very friendly and very helpful. The standard Ocean front room was clean. The plug for the coffee pot keep blowing the circuit and I could not make coffee, thank goodness they have a Starbucks in the lobby. I was a little weary of the plug however. My contact with housekeeping was a real joy. I felt like asking for towels was such a nuisance to them and I was a bother. The service in the restaurant was terrible. My wife, son and I waited for an hour to get a salad and so did everyone in there. The restaurant was in total Chaos. You would think if they know the hotel is fully booked they would be prepared. They were not prepared and severely understaffed. I sat there and watched other people get drink orders while I had been sitting there for 15min. with nothing. Finally a very nice waitress noticed my less than happy look and took our drink orders. She was a one of the nicest people I met at this hotel and I let her know it.
I do keep in mind this is Myrtle Beach it has the same tourist wary attitude as many high tourist volume areas.
To be fair I must say also met many nice and helpful people, but not the majority.
My biggest complaint is really a mistake on my part. I am 100% sure I left a LG bluetooth, Apple USB charging cord, and a small pocket knife in the room located inside a drawer. I called housekeeping today and they said it was not there and that no one had checked into the room. So, I hope I have learned my lesson. Things left behind.........
Not as nice as it has been in past years. Covid is to blame for some but not all the issues. Looking for a new favorite beach hotel next year
Perfect location, right next to the beach, not far from the boulevard or family kingdom. It's also walking distance from many places to eat. Loved the indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis and the bars at the resort are great too!
I was here last year and I gave the resort 3 stars but this year they have renewed a lot of things so to be honest I changed my review to be 5 stars
One of the nastiest hotels I have stayed at in a very long time! The furniture was beat up and lamps all rusty. We found several cockroaches in the kitchen and I was very disappointed in the whole experience. I will NEVER stay here again. Don't waste your money when you can stay almost anywhere better than this place. The Hampton Inn offers very nice amenities and breakfast. I wouldn't eat here if you paid me. Just an overall disappointment.
Very dirty abd outdated. Manager is rude, but Terrance was very helpful. If your good with Motel 6, super 8, travelodge, or econolodge then you would like it here.
Great prices in the off season. Good family getaway.
This hotel sucks apparently there is a church in the fourth floor that they don t tell you about and worst costumer services.
Pretty Cool Place for the Family.... Just needs Renovations
Nice resort after the initial check-in. It took us 45 mins waiting in line to check in.
Great staff. Clean rooms. Great beach views. Clean pool. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reasonable rates..
Have visited the Landmark numerous times. It is always a pleasant and fun experience. Great place for families. My children love the indoor pool areas. You can enjoy lots of fun even in the off season! Staff is also very helpful and friendly every time we have visited.
Inexspensive, convenient location and onsite Starbucks . Indoor pools were a bit cool and check in had a long wait other than that was a good stay.
It's a really nice place to spend your vacation. I enjoy staying at Landmark Resort every time I come to Myrtle Beach
Very disappointed. Elevators stayed not working all weekend, room was dirty upon arrival, dishes were dirty, microwave was dirty, mostly everything seemed to be dirty or not cleaned properly. Lights were blinking on and off outside of the rooms. Air blew in through the huge cracks in the door all night. Even the walkways to the rooms and elevators were very disgusting, trash and vomit everywhere. Pool area was not clean either. Not the place I remember.
Very pleased with our stay so far. The room is clean and comfortable. Kitchen stocked with all of the basic supplies that we needed.
This was one of the worst places we have ever stayed. The rooms were small, in need of updating/repair, public areas were not kept up, elevator floors were dirty and constantly had garbage on them, internet either did not work or went in and out and was slow when it did work, on check in no luggage carts were available in main lobby/outside and could not find any anywhere and when an employee was asked about them they just said they were sorry, but it was a very busy week (Easter week), they were short staffed and they could not keep track of the luggage carts. Guests (kids) were inconsiderate - walking/running the halls at midnight while talking loudly and playing their boom boxes loudly in the corridor. An overall unpleasant experience and a place we will not return to nor recommend.
The view is why it got three stars - First family trip and we loved the "space" in one bed suite. But this "resort" is OLD, it had a odd wet meadow type smell , the carpet is very cold , the elevators take forever, the stairwell to the pools are a hazard, becuz of how slippery it is. Beware there are no lifeguards , the pools are nice but the water clarity is horrible. The ONE pool splash are that should not be freezing cold is the 2 ft splash area for the little ones. The hotel is old- but I do give the effort to try to make the rooms nice but still not very acceptable.
Great staff, nice suites, great parking area, excellent water attraction, security.
Worst hotel I have stayed in for a while. I generally spend 15-20 days a month in hotels and was very disappointed with service you get for the high price. First they tried to charge me over 600 dollars more for my stay when I first checked in. Thank goodness I had a receipt from when I made the reservations and after arguing for a while and even with the receipt they finally gave me their king executive suite with ocean front like I paid for. The staff at the hotel are racist or at least prejudice while my son was swimming they told him twice that he couldn't swim while other kids swam around him. I confronted the pool staff and told them they couldn't single my kid out like that and an hour later they did it again. I then confronted them again and they called security on me and told me I didnt belong in their pool area because I didn't have on a " wristband " even though I showed them my key and told them my room number. I called the manager and while he was apologetic he did nothing to even try to make the person who rented one of his most expensive rooms out for 5 days happy. On top of everything they have old dingy rooms with old furniture and tvs that desperately need to be modernized before they justify 200+ a night. I wouldn't stay here again if they gave me a free room. The only thing that was good was the location but there is a lot of other hotels on the beach. Don't waste your hard earned money here.
I stayed here 12 years ago as a child and remember it as the "best hotel ever" with all the pools and hot tubs and such... And to be honest, they're still pretty great.. It's every other aspect of the hotel I dislike.
1. The rooms are very dated with paper thin walls.
2. In our room, (1031) you would hear a gulping noise near the kitchen sink, then 10 seconds later the entire room would smell of rotten egg... It was atrocious.
3. The stupid fridge froze all our items even though the setting was at three, and not seven which was the maximum cold temperature.
4. I know the hotel is older, but there wasn't a hallway, breezeway or staircase that didn't smell like trash or mold... The only welcoming aroma was in the lobby (go figure, right?)
Some pro's I'd like to mention,
1. Friendly staff
2. Good deals and bargains for food within the hotel and food / attractions outside of the hotel
3. Great breakfast & the Latitudes restaurant was great, as well as the pizza bar located outside.
4. Plenty of pools inside & out, plus hot tubs & lazy rivers (17 total I believe)
I'm bent on rating our stay at a three vs two, but I feel leaving a two is more appropriate due to the honest disappoint, between the garbage smells while traveling through the hotel, the rotten egg smell when the pipes randomly drained & all the smaller aggravations such as the fridge randomly freezing it's items within.
I've stayed at the Landmark for two nights now, and I'm very pleased with my visit. It only takes me a minute to get from my room on the fifth floor to the sand of the beach. During the day it is likely that you'll find a poolside DJ who is willing to take requests. The Tipsy Turtle has an array of beverages to order from, and the bartender is really friendly. The beds are comfortable and housekeeping does great work, keep it up Landmark!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Landmark . My wife and I stayed 5 days and enjoying our favorite hot tub out of to many to count. We played golf on their 9 hole course . We eat all we could at the Breakfast buffet. We loved the view from the 14th floor ocean front and private balcony . We loved the view from the suspended balcony on every floor of the strip. And security kept my bike safe thanks Sergeant Thomas and Marty Mar! The king firm bed was good ,love the marble in the kitchen ,and the toilet has a separate door in the bathroom . The pools we well matained, go early. We will return Lord willing.
