Mostly overprice so it's normal price for people who pay with vouchers and discounts. The car park is now free for customers (refund system not needed anymore). Some dishes are excellent and original. Service is terrible.

Service was very poor got left looking at dirty.pots for half hour. Only really seen waitress to pay her had to fetch own drinks

Food was only just warm not hot.we all had steaks.also no special cheaper menu's available this week as it's coming up to Christmas

I went on Tuesday 18th February with my 2 daughters and 2 grandsons to meet 2 friends with their grandson. Arrived at 12-30 to be told 45 minute wait for food. When our friends arrived at 1pm we could no longer order food as they hadn't enough staff to cope as it was half term. People were turning up with their kids and leaving after being told that. I would have thought more staff would have been on as its a family restaurant or so we thought. Very disappointed as were the my grandchildren. Won't be using there again. Have left 1 star for the staff that were on.Come on beefeater you are a family restaurant so put extra staff on in school holidays.Very disappointed.

Expensive for what it is. Wont be tempted to return sadly.

Shocking service, can't get a meal order correct and in the time I ordered 2 drinks with a waitress, our main course arrived and I went and got in 2 rounds and they still didn't come! Ordered sauces and never got them, steaks were mediocre, wouldn't expect this service from Wetherspoons or even McDonald's! If you insist on having table service, the hint is in the name. Wait on the tables not turn down about 16 customers because the staff were too busy setting out for breakfast at 9:25pm! We stayed at the premier Inn next door and had booked meal vouchers bit completely regret that decision, would vote zero stars if I could! How this place is open beggars belief!

Fly's and trouble getting a stake knife with cold chips

Mixed experiences here. I like Beefeater's but the quality and service often varies, especially at this location. Often very busy with resulting slow service... from taking drink orders, food arriving and even paying the bill. Generally the food and variety is good... just the service that often lets it down. Understaffed.

Good standard, friendly staff,slow to clear tables at breakfast only poor bit.

We 3 were booked for Christmas day lunch at 12.45. We arrived at 12.40 & before our coats were off or were seated our drinks order was taken. That was where the excellent service ended. Our table was to the left of the bar in what transpired to be a 'black hole'. We waited over 40 mins for our starters, having to ask a passing waitress where there were? She apologised saying she would 'chase it up' adding she would ask a Manager to speak to us. The Manager took an order for free drinks & when we asked why the service was so bad she told us that she had 'no idea'! It took a further 2 hours 15 mins to be served our mains & desserts. We gave up the coffee & mince pies as we'd other family arrangements made. The food was absolutely delicious, it was the managing of table service that was disorganised & a complete disaster. We appreciate Christmas day lunch is extremely busy but, when 2 tables of people who arrive after you are served before you there is something drastically wrong. Many of the waiters/waitresses served customers food but, walked passed dirty plates that needed clearing thus wasting time! 3 other tables in our corner waited ages for food 1 of which was served cold food. They were a mature couple celebrating a special anniversary & were most distressed. We will not be returning to Tamworth Beefeater!

Bar staff take an age to serve you and don't acknowledge that you are waiting. Quality of the drinks are generally good but the tables are rarely cleared by the staff.

Lovely food, reasonably priced and good variety. Service excellent. The waitress who served us had only just started so had been there all of half an hour. She was pleasant and efficient. My granddaughter loved her because she called her princess, it made her day.

Awful service. Restaurant now doesn't serve food at certain tables as "it's too far to walk". Rude manager who didn't allow me to make polite suggestions and then made it difficult to complain. Now you also have to pay for parking. Food is average. Avoid.

Been today with two friend's.Got 40% voucher off main menu.We sat having a drink in the bar.waiting the 3rd person to turn up.Had lemon and lime.Hardly couldn't taste the lime.We then went to book in.Table was in good position.The girl was polite and friendly.There only two staff serving.we sat waiting long time.Then we was served.They was running around need more staff.The meals come out quite quickly .Over all it was good meal.And it didnt cost to much.Felt sorry for the staff.

Currently having work done, so i had to park in the jolly salior,

Customer service was none existent. I booked a table for four the evening before for 9.15pm and requested a booth seating arrangement. We arrived on time and were being shown to a table away from the booths so I pointed out that I had requested a booth and I was told, we try to fulfill request but they are not always possible. I pointed out a vacant booth which was reluctantly cleared of used tableware and from then on we had very poor service. We had to wait for each course longer than normal in a Beefeater and each time we had to catch a waiter as they were passing to get more drinks and the desert course. Staff need reminding and refresher training that without returning customers they will be out off work. We will not be returning!!

Staff service was amazing, from thr manager working his butt off to the two waitresses that dealt with us, but sadly the food just wasn't nice imo.
Kids burger was burnt rock solid and the bun tasted like it wad stale.
My wife never finished her chicken off which you couldn't taste at all and i only ate mine ad i was starvin. HATE complaining but others around were doing that.
Thanks for the great service but wouldn't go back.

Excellent customer service, breakfast looked appealing

Service is quite slow. Ask the waistress for something and it doesn't arrive. I had to get the items l wanted myself. Food fine but overpriced for what it is.

Leaving 2 stars purely for the fact of the lack of manners and service...arrived on a Friday evening as a walk in, waited in the queue waiting to be greeted and served but this was not the case. Granted it was a Friday evening, so rather busy, yes. But the lady behind the welcome desk was clearly too busy to remember her manners, the family in front booked in and were taken to their table, upon the servers return we were not spoken to, greeted in any way shape or form and neither did we get any sort of eye contact from her. She proceeded to stare at her screen and speak to her colleagues we were waiting at the help desk for at least 15 minutes before we left. There were free tables and plenty of staff rushing around, we wouldn t of left if she had just made at least a bit of eye contact to make us feel welcome.

Food usual Beefeater fair, big place but you have to waaaaaait for everything if you're eating. Best to order 2 drinks at once....

Mixed quality service and this depends on how busy it is. However, despite that the place is so welcoming and warm! Great food!

Very good quality food. Not cheep but not too expensive for the quality of food. The food is nice but its very much an identical copy of the same food as most of these chains. You are not going to be blown away but you are garanteed a good meal. There is a nice atmosphere for eating with or without the children. Your evening really can sometimes depend on the staff.

A very long wait, 30 minutes before we even got a menu, despite asking numerous times, an hour before starters arrived, all the children's starters were wrong, some we're still frozen in the middle. Bottomless drinks would take 20 mins to return to the table. Main courses were generally ok, but one was cold on the outside and nuked to death in the middle. Puddings decidedly average. It wasn't even that busy being a Thursday night, so no excuses for the service.

Decent food - below average customer service. Told I had to wait for a seat despite half the restaurant being empty.

Ok food.
When I ordered orange juice there were black and brow bits in it and the orange juice itself didnt taste...right.
When we ordered are main, cooked breakfast it took 40 minutes to be served to us.
We were sat at a table close to the kitchen.
There was this one woman who was shouting at this young worker saying that he was not working properly.
The manager said otherwise.
The manager said that this lad has been work until 11pm and came to work at 7am.
When we finished are breakfast we couldn't find the worker.

Really understaffed in a morning it's a free for all you feel an inconvenience asking for anu help or to restock breakfast

Service although friendly very slow and food very disappointing

Servers were friendly, and food tasted good, but the portions were poor and the service time was far too long, taking an hour between ordering and getting each course. Removing finished plates after main took half an hour at least.

Nice breakfast including cereal, fruit, pastries, crumpets and a full English. Coffee tea and fruit juice also. Even better value if you have children as I think they eat free.

Kept waiting over ten minutes just to be shown to a table, left restaurant and went to another restaurant.

Had to sit at bar for evening meal. Have to book table ahead , was Not informed at reception.

Food was great quality and with the discount voucher, great value as well. Food service times were a little slow however we were warned prior to seating that there would be a 30 minute wait so no issues there. Team seemed very stretched and short staffed, when they were able to serve they were great however they were so thin on the ground it was impossible for them to give a comprehensive dining experience. Great food, would recommend booking but it severely needs investment in more staff members.

Breakfast, paid for parking, waited 10 mins, told there was no tables available despite being able to see over half the restaurant was empty.

Really disappointed today. I have been going here for years and made the special effort to come again after moving house, which is a fair drive. I called up to make sure they were still serving as we would arrive later on, to which we were told they were until 10PM. When we arrived at 9:30, some rough looking woman was very snappy in the way she told us we could only sit in the bar! Wasted journey as we walked straight out.

Arrived at the beefeater at 9.15 to what can only be described as a disaster. We were shown to our table given a long list of do's and don'ts, which is understandable, then promptly ignored. It wasn't particularly busy, nobody wanted to take our order, basically we were forgotten for fifty minutes, along with people on a couple of other tables who complained along with me. I have to praise a lady called Gail, who single handedly sorted out every table with efficiency and a smile, give that woman a medal, because without her the place would be in a complete mess. Having said all that, the food when it finally arrived was cooked well, hot and presented nicely. Hopefully, next time I visit things will have improved.
